Preparing for the Exams (P)
Wed Apr 13, 2016 11:03 pm
The platinum blonde haired, petite framed six year old sat comfortably in her mother's warm lap, her mom's soft arms linked around her child like figure. Kanzaki's hair was down, slightly curly at the end of each and every lock of it. It reached down just barely reached past her shoulders, and her bangs were short, a few curly locks dangling in front of her forehead. Her vibrant, amber orbs would be filled with zest whenever she pressed her small back against her mother's frame and craned her head back to look up at the woman nuzzling her body.
Kanzaki was currently wearing a light pink kimono with hot pink floral designs and dark brown branches littering it is silky exterior. It was baggy on her, the sleeves reaching past the tips of her fingers by a quarter of a meter. The bottom edge, cuffs, and v-neck collar belonging to her expensive-looking robes were lined by a dull shade of red. Her mother unwrapped her arms around her briefly, her soft and thin, pale fingers sifting through her daughter's rose-scented blonde locks.
They were currently in Kanzaki's bedroom of the palace. The room was tinted pink by the hot-pink curtains converting the color of the light that shown through the rather large bedroom. a lavender nightstand stood beside the canopy bed that had translucent purple sheets hanging down. Puffy white sheets embraced both of their forms partly, with super puffy, soft pillows bundled up behind their frames. The head of the bed was a dark shade of purple.
Two guards patrolled the outside of the beautiful room. The carpetting was nice and soft, conforming gently to the soles of those that walked across it is pale, cotton-candy pink tone. The color blended in with the exquisitely painted white walls. Kanzaki's mother lifted the puffy, thick blanket and wrapped it around the both of them, hugging her arms around her dearly beloved daughter again. "Okaa-san, what were you going to show me today?"
"Nothing much, dear. You've learned how to perform.. er.. 'hand seals' at the academy, correct?" The girl nodded to signify a positive response to the inquiry. "Well then, show me what this 'Ninjutsu' stuff is capable of. Show me something you've learned." The woman stated, slipping her arms from around her daughter and removing the blankets. She wore an outfit similar outfit to Kanzaki's, but instead of dull red it was dull blue, and the floral designs weren't on it.
In addition, it was a silvery tone. Both of them removed themselves from the bed, her mother seated on the edge while she stood a few meters in front of her. The little girl smacked her left, balled-up fist against her right palm. In all honesty, she learned about the Transformation technique but she did not really bother to give a go at practicing with it is use. Kanzaki parted her hands, then proceeded to form the Dog handseal as quick as she could manage to.
She would form the Boar handseal next, at nearly a rate that was just as good. Following this formation, she would perform the Ram handseal. Maintaining the last handseal she would slam her eyes shut and concentrate as much as she could, especially on who she would transform into with this technique. Kanzaki would summon up an efficient level of chakra from her rather-impressive reserves. The six year old blonde would knead her chakra and then envelop herself in a gray plume of smoke.
"Ninja Art: Transformation Technique!"
When the smoke faded, Kanzaki's brunette-haired, armored-up father stood in her place. Her mother gasped, standing up with wide-eyes and a partly-open mouth. she would step toward her 'father'. "Hirudaya, when did you get here?" She asked in awe. Kanzaki imitated her father's hearty, genuine laugh, which was easy to do since she had his voice with this technique. Another large puff of gray smoke appeared, and when it dissipated Kanzaki stood there again.
"Ehhhhhh!?" Her mother said, completely astonished. Her eyes were white spheres momentarily, and a bead of sweat ran down the side of her head. Kanzaki let out a terrible imitation of her father's hearty laugh, slipping her hands onto her hips. "That wasn't daddy by the way, it was me! I can transform into another person with my uh.. car...truh.. chakra!" she would correct herself, cheesing happily.
"Wow.. that is nice... it is kind of rude too." Her mother stated, pushing a bundle of locks behind her ear. Kanzaki would nod, unable to help but agree since it was part of her upbringing to be a little against the lifestyle and actions of what shinobi typically did. At the same time, she did not one hundred percent agree with what her mother thought of the technique. She thought it was pretty cool! She could transform into her idols. "I will not use it in a bad manner, I promise!"
Kanzaki's mother giggled gently and waved her pale hand at her daughter, shrugging off her promise, since it wasn't necessary. "[color:3b0e=99cc00]It is no issue, dear, as long as you're learning something beneficial to your life. That is all that matters to me." The female stated, standing up and approaching the girl. The blonde woman extended her arms out, resting her silky, pale palms on the surface of Kanzaki's robed shoulders. She would bend over and gently press her soft, full lips to the girl's forehead.
She would pull back, slipping her hands away and beckoning for the girl to move back. Kanzaki's mother would return to the bed, wrapping the blanket around her form and pressing her back to the bundle of pillows behind her. The blondette opened up her blanket-covered arms toward the girl as said girl approached the bed. The six-year old hopped into the canopy bed, snuggling up against her mother's form and tucking her body into the warm covers that wrapped around her as her mother's arms did.
"I love you, okaa-san!" Kanzaki stated with exuberance, her head pressed to her mom's chest and her small arms around her. She rubbed her face against her mother's chest playfully, giggling blissfully. Her mother peered down at her with amber orbs the same color as her daughter's, a pleased smile on her face. "[color:3b0e=99cc00]I love you too, sweetheart." The platinum-haired girl would lay there for another five minutes, eventually passing out.
When she awoke, her mother was gone, and there was a note on the nightstand. 'Your dear mother will return shortly, she requests that you stay in your room for the time being.' The note was obviously written by one of the few maids that Kanzaki and her mom shared. She would press her fist and her palm together after hopping out of the bed, still donning the kimono and hairstyle she wore before she fell asleep. Now that she was situated, the Senju would start preparing to do what she wanted to show her mother next.
The Clone Technique.
It was another academy basic that could prove to be useful when used strategically. Her most fond use of it was in conjunction with the Body Replacement Technique. By switching spots with herself and a clone she could make someone view her as intangible. With the element of surprise she could swoop in and deliver a finishing blow or land a good strike. The girl considered herself worthy of taking the throne after her mother would, yet her mother and father both told her a series of times that because she was not pure royalty she would be unable to.
In that event, she would preach that she would become Queen someday, regardless of how small or big her percentage of royal blood was. In her simple, six-year old eyes, royalty was still royalty, and the best way to prove that she was worthy was by training. She was the first-recorded member of the royal family to have entered the Academy, so that meant she'd be the first royal family member to graduate. Maybe that meant she would be the first royal genin as well?
As she moaned and whined about her struggles with the technique, she contemplated lots of stuff that most six year olds would not worry about. She must have been truly blessed, or favored by God himself, to be put in a position where she was a living sign of change in itself. Under normal circumstances, foreigners, no not just foreigners, but foreign shinobi, or shinobi in general, were not touched by the royal family, or Hoshigakure no Sato alone.
She was born the child of a Konohagakure shinobi and a royal princess. The platinum-haired, kunoichi-in-the-making formed numerous handseals again and flooded her tenketsu with chakra from her rather-decent reserves for her age. "Ninja Art: Clone Technique!" Kanzaki exclaimed with exuberance in her tone. From her body split two separate her's, one on each side of her as she maintained the remaining handseal.
She breathed gently; this was at least the fifth time she had performed the technique. It was taxing but she had to get it down if she wanted to enter the Genin Examination. Kids her age were still learning the basics, and here she was already training like it was her senior year in the Academy. The clones slipped back into her figure, vanishing from view as they did so. The blonde breathed lightly, gently sitting back down on the edge of the bed and letting out mild breathes.
Just then, her mother came back. "Okaa-san! I have another technique to show you" She cheesed proudly, determined as ever. Becoming a kunoichi was just a simple deed to most in other villages, where it was normal to. For her, it was something different. She was not just living out her father's dream, nor was she trying to do her best as a member of the royal family. Kanzaki was doing this for the sake of proving that change was a positive thing, and she could only do that by living and changing the perspective of Hoshigakure no Sato's people.
Her other motive, of course, was, and still is to become Queen. "[color:3b0e=99cc00]Ooh, really? I'd love to see." Her mother said earnestly and genuinely. Kanzaki giggled, hopping off of the edge of the bed. She was not too far off... from making a change.
The next few hours were spent leisurely. Kanzaki and her mother comfortably laid in the bed, conversing with one another when not either of them were asleep. Once she finally awoke, her mother was gone, and there was no note. She assumed that her mom was busy with other stuff. With the blanket fully embracing her form in warmth, the platinum-haired little Senju slipped her arms from out of the covers, revealing her small, soft, pale hands.
She clapped her hands together and concentrated as well as possible. Kanzaki closed her eyes and continued to concentrate, chakra coursing to her palms at an impressive rate for her edge. With great understanding of chakra, and natural prodigious and savant-like talent for being a ninja, granted by what one would presume was a blessing from Hagoromo himself, she could easily do most of the academy tasks. "Haaaaaah!" Kanzaki said in a low battlecry.
Slowly, her reserves began to fluctuate. They arose like waves affected by the moon, and then descended like a tide crashing onto the shore of a beach. Her amber-orbs weren't present, because her eyes were closed, and her lips were pressed firmly together. The well-concentrated girl would stay like this for a decent amount of time, just sitting there concentrating her chakra. After about half an hour of this, she opened her eyes to the sight of two of her armored-up guards entering the room, fully equipped and ready to go somewhere.
"Your dear mother awaits your presence at the Ninja Academy. She wishes to see your abilities to your full extent, to see whether you're capable of becoming a Genin. We shall await outside until you're ready. Shall we get one of your maids to aid you with getting dressed?" One of the guards said. He had ashen hair, stormy gray eyes, and a toned-frame hidden by the typical Queensguard armory-attire.
Kanzaki smirked, emerging from the covers with sky blue pajamas on, complete with white polka dots and lavender-ish buttons. "Nope! I can get dressed on my own, I'll ask one of the maids on my way out how I look!" The blonde Senju smiled brightly. The two guards nodded, slightly surprised by her pledge to be independent. Butterflies flew in her stomach. This was the day she was waiting for... she couldn't deserve to fail!
