Bones Of The Night (Open, NK)

He was sitting on the couch, Doing nothing he was just sitting there with no movement of life in his body. Austin would finnally get up to check on his father who was where he normally was, sitting on a chair staring at his family photo. Austin would smirk as he went outside to make his way to the training grounds to do a little training. He needed to learn of more ways to show he really was a genjutsu God. As he made his way to the training grounds he would ignore everyone and everything he didn't care what would happen. As he finnally arrived he seen trees a track field, training logs, and targets for kunai and shuriken it wasn't half bad in his perspective. As he would begin to Pratice his hand to hand combat skills on the training logs he would do the same routine Jab, Jab, Right hook, Left Hook, Tornado Kick.

"Hi." said Chiyo, appearing near Austin, nearly soundless. Her icy blue eyes sparked with amusement as she watched him. Her delicate face tilted upwards to look at the sky. The Kuroki clan seal on her jacket was torn slightly, a reminder of the hatred people held for her. She could easily beat up anyone she wanted, but she didn't, wanting only to be trusted by her village. She looked at her relative with a small, slightly sad smile. Her black hair curtained around her.

The pale haired, fair skinned lady had woken up early, her cheap apartment had no air conditioning and the rain that sometimes plagued the leaf village made it humid. The only things the girl was wearing was some purple lingerie that still was too hot to keep cool in. Stepping into the shower was usually a nightmare because there was no heat option, but the cold water on her skin this day was a blessing. After taking her time washing and rinsing her hair she stepped out of the slowly draining tub and began to dry off with a towel. After about an hour of getting ready and some light cleaning Kirino exited her apartment this time without any water for her plants. It had rained recently anyway and too much water could prove fatal to the plants. Kirino locked her door tightly and let the keys jangle as she through them into a pocket within her kimono.

At the training grounds there were a few people that had already begun their days training and Kirino would have started the moment she hit the field. As she moved her bones breached her skin and retracted as if her skeletal structure were its own living entity. Seeing an unoccupied training dummy the girl would run forward attempting to kick the dummy with incredible force. The straw man had been attached to a metal plate inserted some feet into the ground, so it would not be easy to knock the thing over. Once more the girl would run forward, using the dummy as the target of her attack, with this kick her foot went through the straw and the girl had to hop around before her foot would become unstuck and she would be back to normal. ”I really hope that no one had seen that.” Looking around there seemed to be two people that could have potentially see the mishap. A boy who was also practicing punches and kicks and a girl who had just arrived.


Maybe they know each other. Thought Kirino as she approached the group. ”Hello my name is Kirino. I saw you practicing taijutsu and was wondering if we could help one another. The kimono wearing Kirino also introduced herself to girl who was there, but she couldn’t think of anything specific to talk about with her. ”Would you care to help me practice? You know if it isn’t a bother or anything.” She finished with a smile hoping she had not interrupted the duo’s conversation.

Austin would pick his head up to notice someone speak to him. They seem to have been wearing the Kuroki clan symbol on their jacket...Austin would glare at the clan symbol and pay no attention to the person only the symbol..."Why are you wearing that symbol.....Who gave you the righ..." Before finishing his sentence Austin would notice another person come into the training grounds this one was wearing a kimono, However this person ran at a training dummy and kicked it to be only pushed back. Austin would smirk seeing her fail but would soon see her do it again to get her foot stuck. Austin laughed at the sight at this to see her walk up and introduce herself.. "You don't need to know my name..." He would say, She then quickly asked him if he wanted to help her with taijutsu...Austin hated hand to hand combat he was more of a mind fucker type of person..But he did need the training and maybe it would prove him useful one day so he would nod his head yes at the question.

"i'm a kuroki, you know. Kuroki Chiyo, daughter of the deceased head of the clan.'' chiyo had noticed austin was another kuroki, she had been trained to recognize a member of the clan on sight. Chiyo ran to catch up to austin. ''wait!'' she cried, her long legs easily closing the distance. "i thought i was the last kuroki!" she cried. her black hair flew behind her like a banner. her icy eyes stared at this person who also wore the symbol of her clan.

You don't need to know my name. He says that like I had asked for it. While Kirino thought the kid was quite rude, she did not have any ill will towards the kid and was excited that he would help with taijutsu. However, when the other girl had completely ignored her it started to rub the lady the wrong way. This one is just ignoring me as if I don't exist, this is surely not the leaf village I was told about. Am I the jinchuriki of the Kyuubi or something? Even if the tailed beast were a village thing, even those on the border were taught of the power that they each possessed.


When the girl ran away yelling her name and her clans name something clicked together in the Kaguya's mind. Maybe, impoliteness is a clan thing. Pulling out some vegetables for the two Kuroki's she handed a carrot to each of them. "I actually just picked those dismorning, I hope you like carrots." 

After that Kirino attempted another kick, but this time she just sailed through the air foot out in an attempt to learn the Dynamic Entry. When she landed she looked back to the Kuroki's to see if they were practicing or just leaving her behind in the dust. If they had it was probably best not to bother them, after all Kirino could train somewhere else as the two finished their family business.

orking on mastering my wings still, but i'm plannin on specializing in genjutsu.'' chiyo was reeling  the inside as she punched and kicked the practice dummy she had found that was open. she was fast, but not too physically strong. her icy eyes are focused as she moves with incredible speed to kick at the dummy.

Kirino felt a sense of accomplishment as the boy said his name after removing his mask and eating the carrot. Although, the girl had seen the boy’s albino skin she was not the kind of person to judge someone based on their appearance. Kirino knew full well that the most beautiful of people could have terrible hearts. Her mother and father had been perfect examples of that, her mother was one of the prettiest women Kirino had ever seen and the people of her old home would attest to it. Yet it was also this gorgeous woman that had abandoned her when the family fortune started to dwindle. Her own father was rather attractive as well, but that didn’t prevent him from gambling away his daughter and house to some guy that Kirino didn’t know. At least there was one good thing that came from Kirino’s mother though, the good thing was all of the jutsu she had taught her daughter. Without the clematis dance the young girl would not have been able to escape from the men attempting to whisk her away into parts unknown.

When the boy had grabbed her leg mid-air the girl did a flip before landing on her feet. The kid may have been yound, but he knew his stuff. ”Thank you, I needed that.” The young lady said as she fixed her hair and smiled in the boy’s direction.

”I use taijutsu primarily as do most members of my clan.” Kirino said to the masked Koroki as he began to question. ”How about you Austin, what type of jutsu do you like to use?” She then turned to the girl named Chiyo who said she would like to learn genjutsu. She doesn’t appear to have a headband is she an academy student perhaps. ”Chiyo would you like me to teach you some basic jutsu? Like tree climbing, substitution, or something else?” I hope she is a student otherwise this question will seem pretty rude.


After asking the question Kirino began to slowly remove her spine from her body. The whole thing was about three and a half feet long. The process didn’t seem to pain the girl and she still stood upright as if her spine was still intact and if you looked closely it would seem as if her spine was still inside the girl’s body. With a flick of the wrist Kirino shot the bone whip about twenty meters out latching it around the dummy. Pulling hard the Kaguya accelerated toward the stationary dummy with her leg raised, just as she had kicked before. This time though she flew perfectly through the air and the kick was enough to knock the dummy from the metal pole. ”I think I have that taijutsu down.” Kirino mentioned as she walked away from the dummy, while making her bone weapon turn to ash and disappear.


I think the next move I should learn is the leaf whirlwind. If I remember it was a high kick, swiftly accompanied by a low kick. Aiming a leg high the kimono wearing kunoichi succeeded on the kick, but her follow up wasn’t quite quick enough to call the attempt a success. Had she been about five seconds earlier with her left leg it would look believable when her right leg attempted the high feint. With the first attempt the attack seemed like two entirely separate kicks, which were not linked together in any way. Taking a deep breath she approached one of the dummies and swung her leg high connecting with the unmoving mannequin, followed by an attempt to low kick once her other foot had touched the ground. The speed had increased, but her left leg had not hit at the appropriate height. Her leg landed at the dummies mid-section which someone could probably see even if they had been watching her right leg.

Austin eyes would widen has he heard Chiyo say she wanted to learn genjutsu..He would then look up when Kirino had asked him what sort of jutsu Austin liked to use. "I'm a genjutsu specialist..all the other kids call me a genjutsu God because I put a bully in a hospital when I fried his brain..." Austin would then watch kirino pull out her spinal column and use it as a sort of whip..."So your a kaguya huh, Never expected one to be in leaf." He would say as he continued to watch her practice her taijutsu. Austin decided he should also practice his genjutsu. Austin would do the hand signs for the genjutsu over and over. Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram, These were the hand signs Austin started to do to finnally learn this. However the memories of Austin started to re appear, Causing Austin to scream bloody murder.

Austin was 10 and had just graduated the academy, His father had first started to not talk and stare at the family portrait. Austin sat on the couch and started to tell his father on exactly what he had to do to graduate. He told him how he wasn't able to use ninjutsu at first and how he lost to everyone in taijutsu. But when it came down to genjutsu he mopped the floor with everyone, At this point Austin swore he seen his dad smile a little bit. Austins father stood up and Austins eyes had widened, His father sat down on the couch next to him and started to actually talk to him about the clan they are in and the history behind it. "Austin, You know I love you its just that when your mother died I have nothing else to live for..Which is why im going to teach you a genjutsu that will surely strike fear into your enemies." Austin never knew his father even knew genjutsu which startled him even more.




Sure enough his dad brought him to the training grounds and did the hand signs Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram, When his father did these hand signs Austin looked up at the sky to see a giant meteor of fire fall right at him causing Austin to scream. It was back in the real world now that Austin snapped out of it to see how many people Heard him scream in pain.
