No Wait, I Can Totes Do This

Wandering down the halls of the acedemy, Yui slowed down her pace as she neared her destination: the examination room. Poking her head through the entrance of the examination room, the blonde would scan the said room before slipping in. She took a seat and fixed her ruffled blonde hair. She had decided that it was time for her to take the Genin Exam. After all, it was something she had been avoiding for quite some time. 

The room itself was filled with students, some of whom she recognized. There was also a proctor nearby. Great. The girl leaned back into the seat as she stared off into space, waiting for her turn to come.

The proctor was ready and waiting as the student arrived, her dull golden locks tied in a no nonsense bun and her thin rectangular glasses perched high on her nose. She had seen every type of student there was in her fifteen year long career as a teacher and she was proud of it. Ushering the students in, she spoke sternly.

"When I call out your name, you will all demonstrate for me the clone jutsu and the transformation jutsu that you have learned. You will also demonstrate a different use for each of these jutsu," she would say, gesturing for the first student to stand in the middle of the class room. Once she was properly situated, the proctor would say "You may begin."

Thr blonde went down the list, passing some, sending more back for further training and finally, near the end of her list, called out. "Goka, Yui."

Making her way to the center of the classroom, she would stand and look at the proctor straight in the eye. Hopefully, it wouldn't have came off as her being rude. After all, one must respect the elders, right? Yui pushed a stray lock of hair back as the proctor gave her the set of instructions. After listening to the proctor's instructions, the girl's eyes would shift around the room. Well, uh okay then. Apparently all she had to do was demonstrate the transformation and clone jutsu. Easy. Or at least that was what she thought. She had been able to perform those two techniques back when she first learned them; so, hypothetically speaking,  if she were able to perform it back then, she would be able to perform it now, right? It was as if asking herself for assurance of the situation. The blonde bit her lower lip and stared at the floor.

A few seconds passed before she was warped back to reality. Her face shot up and was greeted by the proctor's face. "Um, sorry," the girl mumbled before bracing herself. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes before opening them once again after a split second. To be honest, she was definitely taking her time. Hopefully the proctor wouldn't straight out reject the girl and kick her out of the room for taking too long and wasting her time; that would be quite sad actually. Balling up her fist, she would release them before performing the handseals required to perform the transformation technique. She would close her eyes and pictured her brother, Nero. You may ask, why Nero specifically? Well the reason was due to the fact that she was able to transform into him back when she first learned the technique. She thought it was better to stay on the safe side and transform into something (or in this case someone) which she had been able to successfully transform into. Plus, she was taking the Genin Exam; she'd rather not choose the "risky" path and do something which she had never attempt before since that would be stupid of her to do so. As of then, failing was not an option. Taking another deep breath, the blonde would channel her chakra throughout her body, keeping the image Nero in her head as vividly as possible.

Anyway, Yui must have stood completely still for a good minute or so before a puff of smoke surrounded the girl. As the smoke started to dissipate, the proctor would be greeted by the image of Yui herself. The blonde, realizing what had happened, mentally scolded herself before looking at the proctor, a nervous laugh starting to shoot out of her mouth. "Uh, I-I was just... uh.. messing around. I'm sorry. I-I'll.. uh do the technique... um for real now," the girl muttered. Well that was awkward. If she were to fail this exam due to this, that would be embarrassing, despite the fact that the transformation technique is said to be one of the more difficult E-ranked jutsu to perform. Slightly shuddering at the thought, she would shake her head from side to side. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes before weaving the required handseals in order to perform the technique. Keeping an image of Nero in her head, the girl concentrated her chakra throughout her body for a few seconds, followed by a puff of smoke. This time around, she was able to successfully transform into her brother. Dispelling the jutsu after a few seconds, the girl would look at the proctor. "The Transformation Technique allows you to change into.. well whatever you want really," Oh you don't say, the girl thought to herself before continuing, "This can prove to be useful whilst in a battle as one is able to disguise oneself and thus can provide an advantage. Say you're in a situation where you're obviously outpowered and in addition to that an enemy is approaching and there happen to be nowhere to hide. With the use of this jutsu, you'd be able essentially transform into whatever object you desire and if used properly, be able to hide in plain sight. To an extent, one can use this to their advantage during an intel mission by disguising his/herself as one of "enemies", however as stated before, this can only provide an advantage only to a certain extent as one's voice will stay the same."

Getting ready to perform the second jutsu, the blonde took a deep breath once again and weaved the required handseals. To the eyes of the proctor, it would have seemed as if the image of Yui blurred for a split second before another image of her appeared to the right of the girl. This time around, she fortunately was able to perform the jutsu straight away. Yui glanced towards the clone she had just created before facing the proctor. "The Clone Technique essentially allows one to create a projection of oneself. It is only an image hence this clone would not be able to inflict damage upon the target. All it does is mirror one's movements," To prove her point, the girl lifted her right arm, the clone beside her mirroring the said move. Letting her arm fall back by her side, she would continue, "If use right, however, this technique can prove to be useful to a certain extent; for instance, if you happen to be outnumbered, you could use this technique to confuse the enemy."

The blonde dispelled the jutsu and waited for the proctor's response.

After hearing the response, the girl bowed and grabbed her headband, muttering a quick 'thank you' to the proctor. Exiting the room, she hummed a little happy tune whilst checking out her new headband, and with so, the girl headed home.
