Wait, what happened while I was gone?
Mon Oct 14, 2019 9:32 pm
It was closing in on the end of a long day as a rift in space and time would open inside the office of the Hogokage. The rift of time would appear in the middle of the room, only about a meter in radius, just large enough for the clone of Hikari Namikaze to step out. Dawned in her normal anbu attire, the woman would be zipped up all the way, trying to keep as modest as possible to see the kage of her village She would have her Anbu mask hanging from her neck, revealing her pretty face to the world. The Saint of the Stars wasn't on a battlefield anymore, she was in a safe place. There would be no need to hide her identity. Her hair would be up in a ponytail, her bangs fashioned in such a manner that it wouldn't hide any of her headband behind her hair. Dried blood could be seen on the Kunochi's hand. Was it her own? Was it Valen's? Was it of some konoha shinboi that she had killed in Sunagakure? A question that would never be answered.
The real Hikari was somewhere about two or three hundred meters behind her, having a debriefing with Valen. Sure, lets call it that. Debriefing. However, Namikaze was a busy girl and she knew she had many things she needed to do at the same time, so yeah... using clones.
As the Alpha would step out of portal, she would speak up in a powerful and respected tone.
"Namikaze Hikari, Second Alpha of Hoshigakure, returning to active duty."
If the Hogokage was at his seat, Hikari would kneel down to the darkness release user, "I' apologize for my extended absence. My injuries took much longer than anticipated to heal, and then I got distracted by another situation."
That being said, if no one was at the Hogokage's desk, the Jinchūriki of the Gobi would merely look around for a moment, confirming no one else was around, before taking a quick sigh. Her gaze would meet Sofia, the couch she had placed while Valen was out of the village last year. The Deputy Kage of Hoshigakure would take a seat on the couch, and wait for someone to sense her chakra and come to greet her.

It was not like any alternative day where the kage would lie down at his comfy chair. He had an immense affection and honoured to be part of this village. As time was passing by he had a lot to do within his time as he would breathe in twice and releasing it. The feeling turned out to be ridiculous for him as he would let out a grin. As he closed his eyes, he caught something appear right into his office. A youthful, charming girl showed up in front of him as he truly knew that she has finally come.
As he would allow himself to eye the girl regularly whilst watching her, he would recognize the dried blood on her hand. He would notice her kneeling down at Yasaki as he would reply in a tone of composure. "I've been waiting for you Hikari though I can mostly understand that you were busy." he would pause inspecting Hikari. "What is this distraction you speak of? and why do you have blood on your hands?" he was concerned to what had happened to her and keen to know what was going on.

Re: Wait, what happened while I was gone?

[Cause I am a horrible person]
As the kunochi stepped out of the portal, her gaze would fall upon an older gentleman that sat at the Kage's seat. The man seemed familiar, the former Deputy Kage probably had read his file at one point of another.... Yasaki, right?
The woman wouldn't bow to him instead remaining standing, and continue to look around for the Shinoku who had stripped her of her rank, but not see him around. What was going on? Had the Uchiha been made deputy in Hikari's abscense?
Assuming that Yasaki would continue with his words seeing Hikari wasn't bowing to him, the Kunochi would resond simply with a, "Its a long story." As she would turn and take notice of the treasuary vault that still had her barrier surrounding it. The woman would curse her insolence, she had been gone for a long time and cut Hoshigakure off from what little remained of its treasury. As he walked over to it, the girl would continue to speak. "I'd like to wait for Lord Haiji to go over the full details, but a quick summary is that I got caught up in a battle with a few Konoha and Kirigakure Shinobi." The woman would come to the vault and fall to her knees, starting to get to work on removing the seals utilizing the Fuinjutsu Breaking technique she had mastered. "I took the lives of any of them that saw me, so don't worry, no one can identify Hoshigakure as being involved." The solider would speak these words coldy, as if taking the lives of others were just another part of the job, even though she secretly couldn't stand the thought that there was no way or time to attempt a peaceful solution to the problem. That being said, when you are defending a moslty civilian population from a giant demonic chakra and a terroist style attack from two of the largest village powers in the world, it makes things quite difficult for a woman to invite all parties for some tea and cookies so that the two could just talk their differences out.
It wouldn't be long before the woman finished up breaking the last of the seals on the safe guarding Hoshigakure's funds, "Sorry about this. It must have been a rough.... How long has it been? 8 months? Something like that. It must have been a rough 8 months without access to the archives or the treasury, I didn't forsee being arrested and all of this stuff coming up. I'll go ahead and remove the other barries I have placed until I can get other people access to pass through the barrier."
The woman would stand up and turn and face the grey haired Uchiha. "I'll explain the rest when Lord Hogokage arrives. Tell me, where is he? Did he step out for a minute? Or does he have the day off? My situation is a little bit of an emergency, so if he does I would be more than happy to go to him if he can't come in today."
With that, the woman would wait for an explanation as to where Tanji Heiji could be, ready to telleport to his location as soon she got his location.

As he would scan her, she emerged to open the vault he speculated what she tried her to say. What did she meant by the long story.. what on earth was she even speaking about? Yasaki would continually eye her as he watches her opening the vault. By then she would speak again, this time stating the previous hogokage was before him. Tanji heiji a fellow friend and a comrade who stepped down as the previous kages. It was his choice, though Yasaki had no desire to tell her. As she was the main source of the villages army to provide the help, why not simply tell her the truth?
Yasaki shook his head as she spoke. " Unfortunately Tanji has retired from the seat.. assuming he was the one to demote you well, let me tell you this...the full summary goes to me.. Yasaki Uchiha. The Sixth Hogokage of Hoshigakure. " was his words as he grinned gently, watching her break through the vault. She was something special, wasn't she. " I see that blood on your hands don't tell me you killed a shinobi? I won't justify you.. though whatever happened.. happened not like the previous kage before Tanji who caused damage to this village." his words were cool and calm, though it shocked him to hear that this innocent killed another being, he had to accept it.
As she finally opened the vault, he understood she was in leaving to hurry.

As Hikari finished up her statement, the Uchiha would reveal to the Saint of the Stars that he would had taken the title of Hogokage. The blonde would blink, thinking the older gentleman had to be joking, but he would continue on with his sentence as it was no big deal.
As he would finish up, Hikari needed a second to compose herself. A full kage reign! She had been gone so long that she had missed the entirety of the 5th Hogokage's reign! That was unbelievable!
"Sorry...." Hikari would say, realizing she had been just staring for a few seconds not saying anything. "I... I didn't think that Lord Tanji would step down so after becoming a Kage! Well, congratulations, Lord Yasaki! I feel a lot safer under your care already."
Hikari would take a deep breath. Story time. "Well, as you are probably aware, I was out of the village transporting Mr. Uzumaki to and from the Chuunin exams in Konoha when The incident with Lord Akari happened. Upon my return home, I was captured by the church believing to be an accomplice of his. They questioned me. I was not aware of the fact that Lord Akari had gone rouge, and had been told by Lord Snow that he was going to start up torture resistance training on all of member of the Nova Core, and just assumed this was part of said training. After some months of this, Lord Akari got word of my torture and teleported me out of the village VIA my Anbu Tattoo." This was a slight lie, she had been teleported out of the village by a ring she had given to Valen, but there was no reason to go into details about how her alternate dimension worked and the ring she had tied to it. "After which, I woke up and found myself in the care of Kenshin Uzumaki, first Alpha of the Nova Corp. He nursed me back to health, but explained to me that it would take time for me to fully recover. Eventually I took my leave of him and went to recover on my own until a short time ago where I figured before I would return back that I should check to see how Sunagakure and Lord Akari was doing, to my shock, I witnessed as Valen had been killed in a hit and run attack by the joint force of Konoha's and Kirigakure's Military force." The Blonde would take a second to recollect her breath after this explanation. Now comes the annoying part. "Are you aware of what a Bijuu is, Lord Yasaki?" Hikari would wait for the man to respond, if he said no, than the woman would explain. "Well, imagine it as a giant physical manifestation of an immortal evil chakra, bent on destroying anything it comes into contact with. Under normal circumstances, these Bijuu should probably be hunted down and destroyed at all cost. However, some fuinjutsu specialist have discovered ways to seal this chakra into shinobi, to grant them incredible powers and a near infinite supply of chakra."
"Valen had one of these bijuu sealed into him. And when I saw him die, I knew that this monstrous chakra was about to be released in a highly condensed civilian population. I knew if I didn't do anything, the chakra would come forth and destroy hundreds if not thousands of innocents, so I jumped onto the battle field and engaged in battle with the beast." The Alluring Archangel would look down at Hikari's blood soaked hand. "D...during this time, a scout got in my way. I couldn't risk her going back and telling the rest of her forces what was going on, so I took her life, along with the lives of anyone else that saw the battle." Hikari would get slightly depressed as she discussed how she had eliminated all of the hostiles in the area. Such a foolish notion. She was a Jinchūriki now. Her only purpse in life at this point was to be a weapon for the village, to be used and discarded as her superiors saw fit. She needed to abandon her feelings at this point, they only got in the way of the mission.
"I single handedly brought down the monster and saved the civilians of Sunagakure. Konoha and Kirikagure retreated for reasons unknown. They hadn't run into any real resistance besides me, and the higher ups didn't even know about my existence, so I have no idea why they didn't try to occupy the village. Afterwards Kenshin Uzumaki was able to revive Akari, and I was was able to detain him and bring him in for questioning, which is what my main body is doing now." Hikari would pause for a second, before going into more details. "Oh, right, in case you didn't put it together, I'm a clone of the real Hikari Namikaze. She is questioning Valen now. She should be done with that in a few hours or so."
Hikari would inhale again. This was ALOT of talking. "Anyways, that is basically everything you need to know, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. That being said.... I need to ask about the state of the village currently. I am going to need the rest of the night off to recover from my battle with the Bijuu, but I should be up and ready to take on missions by first dawn tomorrow, assuming you wish to assign me missions again and don't want to detain me for treason."

Re: Wait, what happened while I was gone?

It was going well as he supposed, though to see Hikari face to face enlighten him. As the giant seated at his chair, both of his palms would be placed on the table, scanning Hikari up and down. Tanji Heiji was an appreciative man who gave Yasaki a lot of chances and conveniences. It has been some time though, but he understood that eventually time will come and go. At his age only forty-three a lot was keen to happen. Yet, it was all happening as Hikari praised him becoming the kage though he would see her gasp after that.
As she would speak he would tune in up to every word she was about to say. He understood she has been through a lot and was still in a steady condition. With all these names she started to mention it started to make sense for him as he still had his focus on her. As to the point she reached where she asked him about a Bijuu. He hasn't ever heard about a damn thing and his answer was in a mild tone. "I've never heard about this thing you speak of I would like for you to be telling me about it."
As she would explain to him the concept of a Bijuu he would listen in a taking notice about it. This monstrous chakra Hikari spoke of did it affect her? Yasaki thought to himself. Valen... another thought as she was speaking. To see her in a state of not hurt condition was a miracle as Yasaki nodded. She was a warrior for this village and herself. He wouldn't worry as she stated that Kiri and Konoha wouldn't find her existence, but her snooping in and out made him realize was she worthy.
She had a lot to say, and it was acceptable it was a clone speaking whilst the real one was attending with her duties. He grasped a lot by speaking with a clone..he grinned lightly. " Of course there are things that need to be clarified though I'll see you soon. He spoke in a relaxed, pleasant expression. As he would pause taking a breather. " For now rest up..clear yourself and get a good night's sleep."

Re: Wait, what happened while I was gone?

As the sixth Hogokage would finish with his words, Hikari would step in. “I’m sorry, Lord Hogokage, but those are not orders I can promise I can follow.” She would reach into her weapons pouch, fiddling around looking for something. “We have no idea what the morning should bring, I may get held up with missions or other obligations, and I have no idea when we will have this time to talk again. So please, if you have any other questions, I implore you to ask them now.”
After answering any questions the Uchiha would have, Namikaze would sigh, “Ok, few things though, first of all, I think you misunderstood me when I said I would be taking the night off to recover from my battle with the Gobi. While I am unable to preform missions due to my chakra levels being so low, I do have other things I need to work on tonight. I apologize if my dirtiness offends you sir, I’ll be sure to make myself more presentable shortly after our meeting,” The Deputy kage would locate the handkerchief in storage and pull it out. “I’m sorry for my rudeness in showing you something so unsightly in your office, but you need to see this, Lord Hogokage. You may wish to cover your nose.” Hikari would open up the handkerchief to reveal the severed hand of a Hyuuga she had eliminated in Sunagakure. On the back of the limb was a very specific fuinjutsu seal. The woman would activate her Golden Eye, starting to study the seal even while they talked. “Tell me, Lord Hogokage, do you have any idea what this symbol is? If you don’t, that is fine, but I belive it is a seal that is rumored about among Fuinjutsu specialist worldwide. It is called the Flying Thunder God seal. I had read about it in theory books in our archives, but honestly? I thought it was a myth until I saw it on the corpse of one of the Konoha shinobi from Sunagakure. I’ll write up a full report after studying it for a bit of time, but I believe if I study it long enough, I can probably learn the technique myself. If I can, then it would be a great new tool for those of us who practice the fuinjutsu arts inside the village.” A hint of excitement could be heard in the blonde’s voice. The Alpha hated combat and killing, sure, but Fuinjutsu was something she could really enjoy. It was something that she was good at that could be used as a deterrent against others who want to fight, while not needing to kill anyone herself. It was the best of both worlds in her opinion.
“Anyways,” Hikari would say while looking down at the hand and studying it “I do have to repeat my question sir. What exactly happened while I was gone? I apparently missed an entire reign of Hogokage, so I would like to be updated on what is going on. Did we have any laws changed? Any unsuspecting visitors, has the Nova Corp been disbanded? Or are they currently under a new leader?”
The Alpha of Hoshigakure would take a deep breath before she started on her next point. She really didn’t want to ask this, knowing what would happen to her if she did. Nevertheless, Hikari knew it needed to be asked. “I… I also have a favor to ask, Lord Yasaki. I guess you know Valen Akari, the forth Hogokage? The man that caused most of the mess we are in? Yeah…. Um… what is the likelihood that we can just give him a slap on the wrist and allow him to come back to the village?” She would be giving an awkward smile during this, knowing how strange of a request it was.

It was acceptable for Yasaki as she denied his requests. It wasn’t an order but simply for her to rest for what has happened. He was in no shape to tell her what she was going to do or not; she was a grown young woman who can decide on her own. Yasaki acknowledged as she spoke, turning down the promise she couldn’t follow. As that would occur, he would also notice her fiddling thing around her weapon pouch. He would take a breather as whatever followed would take notice. He had a lot to ask and was keen to do so. As his tongue touched his soft lips, he would reply in a relaxed state of tone.
“You said a lot of things through my concern was why did you enter the battlefield, I assumed you had friends who you wanted to protect. But all honesty, I dislike one thing and that’s killing. For whatever reason, you have put through I understand. You killed a ninja from Konohagakure though it’s not expected them to find out, the truth will eventually spread. You captured a Bijuu cause of the previous jinchuriki got killed. You got blood in your hands and you are standing in front of me as if nothing happened.”
As he finished, he took a minor breather establishing his right hand on his face. He would listen to what was being expressed. Though he was a little upset about how things were planned in his eyes, he wanted to do something but couldn’t as he would listen up. He raised an eyebrow as she was speaking, her tone dropping slowly. The way she spoke bothered him though he would speak up and say in a polite tone. “What’s with the attitude Hikari it seems you are mad at me though it’s good...Show me what you got..” He would say with a fake smile remaining to listen to what she said.
As it appeared she pulled out a handkerchief he never had seen one, though what was her plan after all? He was curious to know what it was. She told him to cover his nose as he would follow that and do it. Upon that he would notice her activating her eyes, it intrigued him as he nodded. As she told him what the concept of this new skill, she got from sunagakure battlefield. It delighted him to hear something from her.. Flying thunder god. “That’s such great news.”
He would stand up when she mentioned 'anyway' as he would face the window with his back towards her.
“Not a lot has happened with the death of Genki Uchiha who was bloodily murdered in a cold battle protecting his village. He stopped a genin leaving the village, though rumors occurred Zaled Uchiha was heading to straight to earth land. With I becoming the 6th Hogokage and the man named Satoru Nara who has not been found... Such tragedy it is. With you finally appeared and Ayato being promoted to Anbu I trust both of you because you both are the ones who the key to the success of this village.”
He would pull out a letter from his desk the letter was from Zaled Uchiha as he would hand it to her. “Read it.” It would say.
The favor was asked what was Hikari looking for this time. He took a deep breath in and out and state. "What is this favor you speak of?” he would say as both of his hands were behind his back whilst he had his back towards her. Yasaki let out a snicker as she finished her statement it was priceless for him. To let in an MN, the previous kage who betrayed his village was in all disrespect. But forgiveness is always there no matter what. “The man that did this you want him back into this village is that what you are saying?” He let out a grin as his eyes turned into a red crimson flowing into the shape of the darkness of all the Mangekyou Sharingan. “Now let me tell you this. What if the answer is No then what?” was his answer though he continued.
“He has a choice either be locked up for his crimes he has committed or simply die again,” he said in a cold tone.
"Though give me a good reason he should be back and for his actions to be forgiven."

Re: Wait, what happened while I was gone?

Hikari would blink in surprise when Yasaki asked why the young woman entered the battlefield. “My Lord?” She would ask. “While I do not hide the fact that Kenshin Uzumaki is my friend, and I may go out of my way to help him, I would never risk an all out war with Konoha and Kirigakure to protect him.” Whether this statement was true or not, Hikari had no idea herself. The Blonde knew that she still owed the Senju a debt for saving Valen from his death. She would obviously put the village over Kenshin if the two choices presented themselves, but to risk her village for albino medic? Only time would tell if the Alluring Archangel would be willing to make that call. That being said, what she said next was an absolute truth. “I entered that battlefield due to the fact that I knew that the bijuu was about to be let loose on a civilian population that had no way to defend itself. If the beast had been allowed to terrorize the town, I don’t feel like it would be an understatement that thousands of innocent lives would be lost. And if Konoha and Kirigaukre got involved? I honestly would be surprised if there were any civilian survivors in the whole village.”
The Deputy Hogokage would sigh. The desire for peace, for there to be no more sadness in the world, no more death. It was a dream that Hikari Namikaze had long since chased herself. “I understand that you wish to find a peaceful solution for everything.. That every Father would be able to return home to his wife and children, that ever woman would be able to return home to her father and mother. I have the same feelings sir. I truly do. But talk like that is just a fantasy, M’Lord. My actions limited the number of casualties to a bare minimum, only a few soldiers that had chosen to risk their lives. If I hadn’t, many more people who had nothing to do with the conflict would have had to pay the ultimate price just because I wanted to take a morale high ground and didn’t want to kill a couple of warriors that had wished harm on others. Tell me, My lord. Which would you have preferred? Me to stand before you as the killer of few, or one that did nothing but watch as thousands were slaughtered?” As the Akari spoke this, her mind would wander back to how she was once a Jounin who felt like she needed to take the moral high ground under any circumstance, and how Kenshin had convinced her that she was less of a person for doing that. Well, this was first hand proof that the rouge had been right.
“If there is any question about whether I am lying to you sir, I would implore you to take a look at my mission file. Unless it has changed since I was gone, I hold the highest mission count in Hoshigakure’s history. On those missions, even though most of them were combat in nature, 95.45% of my missions resulted with no human casualties on either side.”
In response to Hikari talking about her appearance, Lord Yassaki would almost sound like he was egging the woman on to a fight. “Um… Lord Yassaki? Is everything alright? You mealy stated that you didn’t like my appearance, and I told you that I would change and make myself mor presentable as soon as we finished up. I didn’t show any hostile intent during that, are you mad that I am waiting? Sir. I’ll leave early and clean up if that is what you wish, but I have no intention of taking up to much of your time.”
As Yasaki would praise the Fuinjutsu mistress of light for her finding the scarce Flying Thunder God seal, the woman would nod, not taking her eyes off of the seal and continuing to study it. “Thank you. M’Lord, I really do appreciate it.”
Hikari would note down the death of the young Uchiha Jounin, Hikari always tried to see the best in everyone, and while she knew Genki was a great D&D player, the Akari had always questioned Lord Snow’s choice on promoting him to Jounin. As the Hogokage would start to mention how Sataru Nara had gone missing, the woman wouldn’t even bother taking her eyes off of her work and would just lazily make the sign of the ram, and attempt to track the boy VIA the Mark of Heaven she had placed on shortly after he arrived to Hoshigakure. Before Yassaki would even start to mention about what became of the Nova Corps, the Alpha would say, “Land of Fire. Near the center of it. I can’t confirm for certain, but I would venture to guess that Mr. Nara has found himself in Konoha somehow. I can easily go and retrieve him whenever you wish sir.”
What would make Hikari blink and look away from her work was the news that Ayato Hyuuga had been named Alpha in her absence. “Ayato…. is an Alpha now?” this revelation couldn’t be more surprising to the young deputy. She honestly shouldn’t have been shocked, the two had only come to blows once and Ayato had proven his superior combat skills then. However, Ayato’s mission record was nothing to write home about, and last the woman heard he was still a Chuunin even after multiple years on the active roster. She had hoped someone with more experience would have been able to take over, but perhaps the shinobi crisis in Hoshigakure was worst than she had originally thought. That being said, her face would show nothing of her shock or any signs of disapproval. “That is wonderful, congratulations to him.” She was about turn back to her work, when the Hogokage would present a piece of paper to Hikari, and order her to read it.
Skimming it over, the woman would nod. “And I assume this was some time ago? I can’t locate Mr Zaled like I did with Mr. Nara, but I feel like there are only three possibilities as to why he has not returned. The first being the reason I hope for, that he has simply found himself busy and has not completed his mission and does not have the time to send us a letter with an update. As much as I wish this to be the case, I find it very unlikely. Nevertheless, I will not scratch that out as a possibility. The second one being that this unknown missing ninja might have killed him or taken him hostage. While I would hope one of our Jounin could take down an unnamed Rouge shinobi fairly easily, we should expect that this is a very real possibility. The last, and the one that I fear may has come to pass, is that Mr. Zaled has used this opportunity to flee the village and is now on the run. Tell me, M’lord, do we have any evidence that Mr. Zaled was chasing a rouge Ninja? Any evidence that he didn’t kill Mr. Genki and made up a story to cover for him? Do we have the body of Mr. Genki?”
Hikari would turn her head back to the hand and continue to study the seal in front of her. “Either way, sending a team to search for him would probably be for the best. Well…. I say a team, but let’s be realistic, it will probably be just myself since I doubt we can afford the manpower to send a full team after him.”
Now came to the tough part, as Hikari finished her request that Valen be allowed to come back to the village, the woman would notice that her tone had swapped from that of a more strict tone to one of a more relaxed one. Perhaps nerves were getting the better of her since she knew that her request would look childish in the eyes of the older man?
“M’lord?” The Lady of Light would ask, “You… You can’t truly be considering actually killing Valen, can you? I know his crimes were great, but didn’t we just have a conversation where we were talking about killing in any situation that it wasn’t absolutely necessary was not your way? Our former Kage has already died once for his actions, surely killing him again would be pointless?”
Hikari would take a second to calm herself, she had just lost Valen once, and the thought of losing him again so soon shook her a little bit. “Sorry… I might have been slightly out of line there. I will follow your orders sir, however, there are many reasons why I think it would be a mistake strategically to let an asset such as Akari go.
The First thing I would like to explain is that Akari’s actions were not his own but the actions of a man possessed by a deominc entity. About two years ago, as you know, Valen had one of these Bijuu sealed inside him. Akari had no choice in the matter, it was an order given to him by the 3rd Hogokage Kyousuke Snow. While it was being discussed if we should be sealing these monsters inside people, I personally highly suggested that we refrain from utilizing these bijuu. I was worried about the mental conditions for those that had these monsters sealed in them. Lord Kyousuke Snow ignored my advice since we had intelligence that Kumogakure was using these Bijuu in a similar manner. As such, he and Valen both had a Bijuu sealed into them.” While this wasn’t a lie persay, this was stretching the truth out in some manner to favor Valen. Had Hikari and Valen been ordered to hunt the bijuu down and have it sealed away in one of them? Yes, that wasn’t a lie in the slightest. Would Valen had volunteered to have the bijuu sealed in him even if he wasn’t ordered to. More than likely, yes. Had Hikari advised Kyousuke that it may had been a bad idea to seal giant evil monsters into soldiers and hoped that everything turned out alright? Obviously. Had Hikari pushed that hard on the subject mater though? No, and she really should have. “Valen only preformed the crimes that he did because he was under the influence of a demonic force. Now that he has been freed from that burden, Akari regrets his actions and wishes to make amends with the village. I’m not saying he should not be punished, but Akari could be used in countless ways to help better the village. If nothing else, if he were to publicly denounce his actions and says that he wants people to return to the village, we would probably see a return of the vast majority of the defectors that fled the village when he told them to leave.”
“Lord Yasaki, I understand your concerns with Akari coming back, but sir, please, the benefits for Akari being allowed to come back are numerous, I have only just scratched the surface as to the benefits, and I can go on for hour explaining why him coming back to the village would be for the best. This wasn’t his fault sir. Please, just give him another chance.”
With that, Hikari would wait to hear the Uchiha’s response. She had more reasons to explain why Valen should be allowed back in the village if the kage didn’t like the one she had just given to him.
