NO!.. Okay Maybe.

Having received her score and being qualified for the second stage of Jounin exams, Ari was at home in her room packing things into a large duffel bag. She required several changes of clothing and a variety of personal effects including her equipment. No doubt they would be put to tests during the exams that would require everything she could carry, or so she thought. Ari was as informed as anybody else on the matter and didn't attempt to pry any information from Kurisu, believing the lack of knowledge was part of their test. While shoving a pair of socks into the duffel bag she realized one was missing. In a panicked fashion, Ari began throwing objects in her room around. Lifting her dresser above her head to look under in a brutish fashion before slamming it back down, piercing the floorboards with its four legs. Just another thing to worry about before leaving, buying socks. Luckily she was well supplied with everything else including tooth paste.

Considering Suna was a desert, Ari wondered how they'd get the water for brushing their teeth and taking showers. Maybe everybody struggled with water and they'd smell awful. These possible negative outcomes weren't enthralling in the least, but the idea was still fun. Ari sat on her bed before leaning back and absentmindedly muttering to herself, "I'm coming to get you, Sunagakure."

Kaya Lurked through the Ametsuchi household, hearing noises coming from her parents room as she wiggles her way towards there. Her body squiggled through the floor until she approached the door where she peaked inside to see her mother’s back turned towards her. There she witnessed her mother’s strength as she lifted the dresser with ease before setting it back down. Quietly, the little girl removed herself from sight and hid behind the door, contemplating how she was going to proceed with her plan. She rubbed the smooth skin on her chinny chin chin, thinking about what she would say and do to convince her mom to let her come along to Sunagakure with her.

Justo only recently hearing about her mother’s success in the first portion of the exams, Kaya quickly got ear that the next portions would take place in the San village where Uncle Koroshi was Kazekage. While Konoha itself was still relatively new to the girl, she wanted to get a whiff of another country, and explore different lands. She wanted nothing else but to go with her momma to Suna and cheer her on while also explore the vast deserts! Soon, Dora the Explora would have nothing on little Kaya.

Taking a deep breath, the little girl ran into the room and jumped on Ari who was now leaning back on the bed. “Mommmyyyy!” She said excitedly as she jumped into her mother’s arms. “Congratulations on doing well on the test!” She gave her mom a huge kiss on the cheek before looking down at the big duffel bag. Trying to play it innocently, the girl pressed her index finger to her cheek all cute wise before asking, “What’s that for? Mommy are you leaving us!?” She said sadly, trying to make her momma feel guilty before she’d go in for the big question

If not for the noise she'd been making, Ari would have heard her daughter sneaking up on her. However, after lying down on the bed she was caught by surprise, seeing the girl's body flying towards her shortly after hearing her name. Ari's arms quickly shot forward to brace Kaya before receiving congratulations and a kiss on her cheek. This was unusual but it prompted a due response, "Thank you sweetie..." Ari felt like she was being led on already by her daughter's antics but decided to play along anyway. Seeing the girl trying her best to look adorable, which, to be fair, wasn't a bad attempt. Kaya cut to the chase and asked why she was packing. Naturally, Ari was playing along with her daughter's shenanigans and did her best to answer with a straight face. "Well you see, mummy and daddy are having a disagreement and we've got to separate for a while..." Waiting for Kaya's possible reaction, Ari would quickly pinch her daughter's cheeks before letting her get upset and pull them gently out to the sides.

"You know where I'm going, don't you?" With a doubtful look, Ari stared her daughter down and waited for her answer.

‘She’s falling for it!' Kaya said to herself, smiling mischievously on the inside as Ari was about to reveal her daughter’s trap card. That’s right, a Yu-Gi-Oh reference! The girl listened attentively as Ari began to explain why she was packing her things. Little did she know that she had fallen into her mom’s trap card. “Whaaaaaaaat!” She left out before Ari could reveal that she was just joking, her jaw almost dropping down to the floor. She wasn’t about to cry anything, but it was one hell of bomb to unleash on the child. Once Ari pinched the girl’s cheeks, Kaya crossed her arms and gave her mother some side eye. “Well played mother. well played.” She huffed before putting her finger to her chin once more, signalling that she was going into deep thought. “Weellllll — “ She started before hopping off then bed and pacing back and forth in front of her mom.

She would do this for 5 seconds or so before facing her mother once more. “You’re going to Suna right!?” the girl asked, leaving a moment for a reply. “Well mommy you can’t leave me hear with all the testosterone in this family!!! I need some womanly guidance! I need you!” She started off, pausing for a moment to see what her mom would say before continuing. “I mean, what if you come back and they make me into a man! huh? HUH!? Devastation! That’s what!” Kaya was going off on a complete child tantrum at this point, flailing her arms and over dramatizing everything. Without realizing, she started to scratch her crotch and suddenly stopped when she realized what she was doing. In completely horror, she looked at her mom and held her scratching arm up. “See! It’s starting!"

Ari looked expectantly at Kaya after seemingly winning this round. While her daughter hopped onto the ground, Ari finally sat back up on the edge of the bed to hear her story. Crossing her right leg on top of her left knee and leaning into it with her right elbow, she rested her chin upon her same arm's fist while staring at Kaya attentively. The seconds her daughter spent pacing felt like minutes, at last she'd come to a halt before questioning Ari's destination. "Yep, all the way to that desert people live in for some reason." Ari answered, allowing Kaya to continue. Raving about testosterone and so forth was entertaining if nothing else. Ari simply shrugged her shoulders before Kaya would rant about being turned into a man. Calmly placing a hand over her own mouth, Ari tried to contain her smile. Suddenly noticing her daughter was scratching her own crotch caused a brief cringe to inhabit Ari's face.

She moved back slightly as Kaya held up the offending hand in panic. "It's okay, I mean you've got Kyoto... She's a girl." Ari reached out her right hand to rest it on Kaya's head before ruffling her hair. "Besides, I'm not the definition of ladylike; plus, I don't expect you to be." Reassuringly smiling with her most honest expression, Ari could only guess what kind of tangent Kaya might go on now.

“Kyoto!?” Well shit, Kaya has almost forgotten about her older sister. Lucky for the little girl, she was quick with a comeback. “Have you seen the girl! She’s already infested with testosterone! She’s more manly that a typical boy!” The girl stood in one spot, crossing her arms around her chest while her mother placed her hand in the girl’s hair. The girl’s eyes widen as she responded with a typical answer that was to be expected by the caring mom. “Dammit Ma, why do you have to be so liberal!” The girl pouted before jumping on the bed next to her mom. She was running out of cards to play. It was time to pull out typical child behaviour.

forcing the tears, Kaya began to let the water works fly before throwing her arms around her mom. “Pleeaaasseee mama I wanna go too! pretty pretty please with cherries on top!!!!"

"Okay okay... You have my permission to go to Sunagakure, provided you are escorted with your siblings. You'll have to accompany the other Jounin exam participants when they travel to Sunagakure so pack your things and I'll see you there. I'm sorry but, I'm in a rush so I have to go." Ari then packed her stuff and left for Suna.
