Illumination [S] Empty Illumination [S]

Sat Jul 30, 2016 8:57 pm
He planning to walk towards the Training Grounds... But something was completely off the moment that he woke up. Turning his body to the side, he'd look towards the sun to see what time it was, and unfortunately for him, he was about two to three hours late for his training with the Yuri twins. What the... What!? Nea was supposed to wake him up! Aunt Nea! Are you here? The boy would cry out, wondering where he was. However, despite her replying so quickly on an average basis, she did not seem to be answering back to him. This made him tense, shivers sent down his spine as the world felt so empty, him and his echoes. Looking out towards the window, he would see nothing but a blank space. Not even the color black, it was whatever one would see with their eyes closed. Emptiness... That made his heart jolt when the outside world seemed non-existent to him. AUNT NEA! Now the cry was a desperate one with fear rather than question. His body began to shake, only for him to look away from the window and towards the door. It was closed, nothing abnormal about that. Light... Yes, that would prevent him from panicking. And so he would take off the blanket from the top of him and onto the ground before feeling the ground below him pulling him in... What was this!?

Desperately reaching out towards the switch, he'd try to pounce upwards and away from the ground, his body making it through before he saw a sudden image pop up in his head. A photo of a little girl on the ground, though there was a black background to it. She was not bloody, but her head was on the ground and body all roughed up. You are already reaching for the light, desperately wanting it more than anything. I guess I was right about you. A female voice would explain to him through some sort of telepathy. It was calm... But not in a way that brought him any comfort. If anything, it injected another healthy dose of fear into him. The image would disappear as the world would resume back to him still prancing for the lightswitch. The more that he tried, the more that he felt the ground sucking him back. The little progress he made was terrible for him, it could not be... A second image would appear. It was of him however, and a forced smile placed on him as two strings seemed... Stitched to the end of his lips. The way you hide from the world, hiding from reality, affecting others with your innocence. You never show others what you really feel... A puppet... The voice was scaring him, and the images were putting him to the brink of tears. This was a nightmare, it had to be! But the pain that he was feeling... It was feeling much too real... One final push... And... He flicked the switch to bring the light to his room and hopefully cast it out. Instead, a third image would appear... It was a brunette woman carrying a little baby in her arms. The child was sleeping, and the mother had tears running down her cheeks. However, the tears were emitted from the source that would normally be where the eyes were, but would instead have two red X's placed onto them. This time, Haruki would do the talking. STOP IT! STOP IT! The image disappeared, and the floor no longer tried to drag him in. His light brown eyes would close as he fell onto his knees. What... What was that...? NEA! PLEASE SAVE ME! Haruki would cry out like the child he was. But in this world, there was no Nea. No reply, just the awkward echo of his scared voice. Tears would flow down from his eyes as he would then here the voice again, but not in his head... It was right in front of him.

The Akari is quite amazing, huh? How one could do so much damage to herself. The woman would explain, looking down onto him with her Golden Eyes. The sudden voice would make him fall backwards, someone... A stranger was in his house. Now he was scared, he felt so hopeless, so powerless to fight back. The mental fear in him, it was preventing him from casting out a Jutsu... Please... Stop... The Akari would beg. The woman would tilt her head to the side, her lips moving downwards a little bit more into a frown. A bit of hesitation perhaps? The pain that one of your family members would have to endure... It is unfortunate how you have to go through it alone. A few echoing footsteps would be heard approaching him. As much as he would like to go back and get away from the creepy lady... He was trapped. Once the steps stopped, he would feel a palm on his face, causing him to flinch a bit as he tried to brace for impact. It seemed however to just be a gentle caress... What? Despite this comforting touch, it was from the one who casted out the... Nightmare... That was it! Haruki would react as quickly as he could, placing his hands into the Tiger Hand Sign.

You can't escape fate so easily. The world is now after you because of the blood in your veins. You only had a taste of what I had to endure as one... That was a damn lie. Haruki was smart enough to believe that a whole bloodline was not dedicated to hate and fear. Now it was his turn to speak. However, it was best he chose his words correctly... W-what would you know about endurance...? He would ask, and he'd love to continue, but his voice was collapsing. The fear was still in him. What was this lady going to do to him? The look on her face was neutral, it damn well could have been anything... More than you ever will... Maybe you are right though. I guess ever Akari is different. You however... You are destined for hardships worse than those images you saw. And this was when the Akari just about had enough of the lady, his Chakra trying to go towards his palm. I had enough of this! Now the fear was beginning to dispel. The boy knew better than to let words get to him, no more images were popping up in his head. Take over and ruin someone else's life! I am not your puppet, and I certainly don't have to listen to you! The Genjutsu was not going away however... It did not even blur... So much Chakra... What was he up against? It did not matter though, he was going to kill whoever or whatever this was with everything he had!

I am going to end all of this! I'm getting back everything, and you seem like the only thing in the way, so I will end this quickly! The hooded child would announce before reforming his palms. New tactic, he was going to get over towards this lady one way or another. She jumped back, rather than taking advantage of how close she was. The sudden interest... What did she expect him to do? Despite this however, there was no way he was going to back down now. CHIDORI! Haruki exclaimed, lightning forming on his right palm, so much static so that they would all let out a noise that sounded like just that, a flock of Chidori. With this, his light brown eyes would lock onto the opponent in front of him, who was smiling when she saw this. She is cocky... He thought before he would place his feet against the now solid ground, charging with the lightning in his palm before attempting to slam it into the stomach of the lady. His wrist would be caught however, preventing him from carrying out the tasks. Wow... To think that you would have learned such an advanced Technique already. Chidori, eh? Maybe I was wrong about you, you don't seem as much of a puppet like I expected you to be.

What the hell do you want from me!? The boy would exclaim, looking into the eyes of the woman, who would smile in return. Only for his eyes to widen when he saw the pair of eyes that she had... And she would then laugh for a bit. It seemed like a coincidence to him, but those eyes... Wow, did I have to make it any more obvious? Come on Yuuri, you can't tell me you don't know who I am. And so he did... They were just like his. The hair, the eyes, even the smile... WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME!? WHAT KIND OF... WHAT Kind of... What ki- The words were fading away as he felt the security of her mothers arms, his head resting on her chest as she would pull him closer. Shinobi do much worse than you think Yuuri... Yuuri? The name of his teacher? But this woman was his parent... His... Mother in fact. So why bring up the name of one of the Yuri twins? She would shake her head though and laugh a little bit. You have a teacher named Yuuri? Well that is what I named you first, little Yuuri. Or... I guess Haruki now, huh? The mother would ask the child, still holding him close. No response, because he knew what that meant. He was renamed to what he was now... The boy was much smarter than one would expect, he was able to connect the puzzle pieces when they were laid out in front of him.

I'm sorry... I promise to erase the images from your mind. However... You have been brought here to learn one thing from me. The world is now after you... And I want you to be ready for it when it arrives. The mother would tell him. This had his attention, all his tears being sent away, half of them staining the shirt of the woman in front of him. He'd just place his hands in his pockets as he listened. If some were after him because of something, he was going to take any chance at beating the living hell out of whatever was trying to come at him. The Akari Clan has a certain trait that they would pass onto their children to learn. The Hikariton, basically light. And this Genjutsu I casted, it will be enough to keep you still for long enough. Besides, time isn't moving for you while you are here. This will all seem like some dream, but almost everything that you take away from here will stick with you. With the exception of the images and that nightmare I gave to you though. The mother would explain. As much of a crappy parent as she might be for having done that, it was evident that she tried her best, and repented for the sin that she had brought onto him.

You plan to teach me... The Hikariton? The boy would ask, now having a small smile return back onto his face. Excitement was also returning to him, since this was not just something new, but the element of his Clan... He was about to learn. Whether this be a Genjutsu or not, whether he was stuck in time or not, he knew that he was going to get to learn the tricks that are needed. However the mother did it, she was able to cast the Jutsu onto him and have him learn the Hikariton. There were better ways of doing it. However... To be blunt about it, yes. And you will not be getting out of it until you have learned. After all, we have all of the time in the world here. And you, you need to be prepared for the worst. I am the least of what will come to you... And I want you to fight back when the real nightmares begin...

I am 3 stats away from the 325 max, meaning no more stats from that point. (600 words) And then 100 words equal 1 AP I believe? If so, I get... 14 AP owo (Maths). Anything I got wrong? x3

Luckily for you, the next three techniques I will show you are not too familiar to you since you seem to like to complain a lot on how the lack of signs bore you. The mother would explain to him, in which those words strung together were able to not only get his attention, but it made him forget about the Genjutsu that had been cast around his being, and it even got him excited to learn it. Someone with this much power being related to him, and being able to teach him things from his own clan, it was much better of a nightmare than he expected it to be. This is called the Hikariton: Image Manipulation. Basically, this is sort of like Genjutsu, but not to break down opponents. Simply just using the technique will give an opponent the impression that you are a Genjutsu if you make it REAL obvious for them to see through the trick. Use that to your advantage as they brace themselves for something that is not going to come. Well, his mother was a smart tactician for sure. That was an interesting way to look at it. With that, he'd nod his head before his mother would look away from him, towards the side specifically. Tell me Haruki, what do you think will happen when an attack that seemingly hits does not land a hit? Say you were the one on the receiving end of it. What would you think and how will you react? She would ask him, looking back to him, placing her palms out in front of her, but she did not move them. It seems like she was waiting on him. Well, if he had to guess, he would probably feel shocked first before wondering what happened. Provided he thought of the illusion to be a Genjutsu one if that was the only thing that had been demonstrated... I would try to set up the Genjutsu Release by putting up the Tiger sign. If I believe for it to be an illusion, and nothing else in the opponent has been shown, I plan to just shut their attempts down. My Chakra is very high, so I would be fine so long as the Genjutsu fighters don't try anything. She seemed impressed with his answer, a smile formed on her face at the end of his reply. Due to this, he was able to feel a bit of warmth from it, placing his lips even higher up than normal. But he'd shake his head from side to side once he realized that he was getting distracted. You think with common sense, and that is something I love to see from my son. What I also see on him is a persona that loves to prank others. Consider this a prank, because this illusion is not a Genjutsu, but a Ninjutsu. It just simply would manipulate light. So while it does not quite seem like an attack, with it, you are able to fool people into thinking you fight with Genjutsu. That is where they are going to fall. You take them down like I know you can, and you will beat them without a problem. This is designed for you to have the element of surprise. If you can't have it given to you, you should try to earn it. Sounded reasonable, but in what scenario will he be able to use it in such a way? The plan sounded great, but he did not quite know what should be formed to give off the impression that he was just a terrible Genjutsu user.

Now, before any examples will be given, I can teach you something that will really throw them off, guard. The mother would explain, which would refrain from allowing Haruki to ask the question that he wanted to. That was fine, he wanted to learn how to be sneaky in combat. She would form the hand signs needed for this to work, the first being Ram and the second being Serpent. That was all, but the effect of it was much too useful for him to complain about the lack of signs that there seems to be. With the light, you can attach physical materials onto the light. So say we did that plan, and you were now thinking that I am a terrible Genjutsu fighter, would you try to avoid the next attack that I throw at you? Well, the obvious answer was no. But the Akari was tempted to think about it and find some sort of smart answer just in case it was a trick question. After a few seconds, he would just shrug his shoulders and shake his head from side to side. Nope. Because I know that it is unable to hurt me. The hooded boy would explain, in which his mother would nod her head in response. So I gave you the impression I wanted. So back to where you can attack physical things to it, what if I were to put something that did hurt. Say... A Paper Bomb? With that, she would flick a piece of paper out from behind her back. That was an interesting concept actually, the light being able to carry such a thing. And if the opponent were not too sure about the attack being real, they might just take it... A Paper Bomb to the face... Well, I take it you understand what happens if they just watch the attack coming. With the illusion, it covers the front side while the back side is completely out of view. Use that to your advantage as you do something such as... This. With that, she would slap the piece of paper onto the illusion that had been cast, a fireball made out of light particles. It stuck as if it were glued onto the fireball. Then make sure to give them a nice little treat from you to them. With that, she sent the fireball flying away from the both of them, the fireball dissolving as it hit the wall, but the piece of paper sticking onto the wall before exploding just a small moment after it had landed.

Rest in pieces. So the Akari can manipulate the use of Common sense and the current ways of our world to turn against them. Haruki would explain, trying to make sense of it. What he meant with that was that they were able to take what one might know and turn it upside down. They have no idea about how some illusions did not need to be Genjutsu, and how they would only waste their time if trying it on an Akari illusion. So the Hikariton was designed to trick before destroying, or so that was what Haruki got out of it. If that were the case, it was made clearly and had his attention. So I can make any image that comes to mind I assume? The boy would ask, his legs crossed and head tilted towards the right side. She would cross her arms while looking down at him. Nope. This is a little bit tricky, but since the illusions need to be subte, this technique was designed so that you don't make it too large. A good meter or two actually. But I want you to think, what exactly is such a size? Well, there were a few things that came to mind. One was a bowl of chicken Ramen. Another was the baby that one of his neighbors had. And the last was a Kunai Knife. Preferably, he would have loved to have chosen the baby just to be an annoying smartass, but it was safer to do that when not locked inside of a Genjutsu that could completely shatter his mind. She may have been his mother, but she was also willing to put images such as having his lips stitched into his mind. I think a Kunai Knife would be something that describes such a thing. He would reply to her, in which she would place her pointer finger below her chin. Eh, maybe. But tell me this, if you were to wrap a paper bomb around the sides of the knife, they will be able to tell the difference, can they not? Heh... Haruki knew where this was going. That question was a trick question, the Academy teachers used this fairly well. His mother would have blended in very well with them provided she be alive to this very day. What if the first illusion included that paper bomb? At that point, there is no way they can tell that my next one is any different. With that, his mother would nod her head with pride when his answer had been given to her. That was how one had to think in battle, very quickly and cleverly. One must be able to think many steps of an opponent. No matter what, if one had fallen short on the steps that needed to be accounted for, they are not going to win a battle. And it's pretty easy for you to do as well. So try it right now.

That was easy, she was right. So Haruki would mimic the signs that had been made. The first sign was the Ram, the second being Serpent. It was easy, and then he would focus as much light as he could to the front of his being, making a cute little cat with a Kunai knife on its back. With it, he would pick up the little thing and take the knife away before letting it drop back onto the ground. He'd put his free hand behind his back before forming another illusion of light behind it. Once that happened, he would pull out a fake paper bomb from there before strapping it onto the fake Kunai. With that, he would throw it forward towards the wall where the real paper knife ended up blowing up, and just like that, both the knife and the paper would dissolve, all while making it look real in the first place. His mother would clap her hands for him to show how proud of him she was. Now that is my child, getting things done on the first shot. Without my knowledge, I would have never been able to tell that from a real paper bomb. At this rate, you will be getting out of here in a few minutes. But there are two things left for you to do before I let you go. Prepare yourself for it, and then tell me when you are ready. He was more than excited to learn the ways of a Hikari. They had such interesting methods, being able to deceive without aiming to corrupt the mind but confuse it while doing serious battle damage to the physical body. That was something he would like to see used, and if only he had examples of it. But... Why did she leave was the true question... As in, why was she not back with the Akari clan when her body was found? Bring it on then, that was nothing. I want to return back to Aunt Nea. I am glad to at least have met you one time, but I don't even think you are real. I can't seem to get out, which is the reason why I bother staying. With that said, I am up for another challenge. The boy would tell his mother before sitting back down again with his legs crossed and his palms against the ground on his sides. She was an interesting character, but part of him still believed for this to be a dream, despite how real it felt. It must have felt confused for her to hear that this is a dream, since she was probably a figment of his imagination. If only he really knew...

This is going to be an even easier one. The goal for the Hikariton is to put an opponent at a disadvantage. What if they are able to see through your tricks? What might an Akari do next? Think about it, what does light do. Well, if Haruki had to answer that, he would reply that light allowed one to see. The more there was, the more that one could see. With his eyes, he was able to see in even the darkest of places, light particles were able to come to his eye and amplify themselves, especially when he had the Golden Eyes activated. Well, light can be manipulated at free will. I would guess that they shut down any source of light around them so that an opponent can't see. Haruki would explain. His mother would cross her arms while taking the moment to think about that. It seems like that was not the answer she was expecting, but it was not quite bad an idea. Or so he would think before she would then have a reply for him. While it is true that an Akari is able to prevent light from reaching an opponent, light is needed for them to see. If not even a bit of light is there, the Akari is exposed to as much danger as their opponent. There are some things that not even they are able to see through.

All right, so what was the real answer then? Before the boy could ask that, his mother would have that question covered already. Like mother like son? That was not the phrase, but it was all that he had to work with. How about doing the exact opposite? All you need to do is blind an opponent with light. The Akari can't be blinded, but their enemies certainly can be. Which is why this simple yet effective technique will serve you very well. She would explain before placing her hands in the technique that was needed. All she did was place Ram, and she held it was a ball of light formed in her hand. It had an okay amount of light, but it was growing and growing... And the light dazzled the whole room in its brilliance. Soon, it was going to turn the whole room white, but Haruki would only watch as he was amazed at the development that ensued with the light. This is the Hikariton Blinding Ball. With it, it follows you around like a pet. All you have to do it place a bit of Chakra into is, and it glows brighter. Imagine feeding it Chakra like feeding a pet. When it is fed, it gets excited and will do what you say. In this case, blind an opponent. It does not even cost too much Chakra either. All you simply do is summon it, and then it will be with you for quite a while. You can cancel it at any time, but it costs so little, and I see no reason in doing so. To summon it, hold the sign and send the Chakra towards your palms since there is where it will be summoned.

He would then stand up from where he was sitting, nodding his head as he would place his palms forward. One sign, Ram. And they he would place it so that it was formed. The Chakra was being sent through his veins, and soon, it would reach the destination that was the inside of his palms. It was a success! Hikariton Blinding Ball! The boy would exclaim as he would then look over towards his mother, who had her arms crossed, a smile on her face, and would nod her head with much approval before she would place her shining ball away. And so he would summon the ball of light inside of his palms, the being acting like it had a life of its own. The boy would release the being and allow it to travel behind him. Now to feed it Chakra. Haruki would focus his energy towards the hands before the light would begin to grow in intensity, meaning that he would begin the shine effect. And soon, the room would be swarmed in the same light that his mother lets out. It was beautiful, and the light never looked any better in his eyes. This is so cool! The Akari would exclaim, his mother chuckling as clear interest was shown in her son's eyes. He would look around and admire the light that was repeated all over the place.

That are just two techniques, yet I bet they have a lot more support than anything you have learned. This final one will really add onto your knowledge, so get ready. His mother would warn, placing her hands on her sides and waited for her son. Haruki would sit back down with his legs crossed so that he could listen to her once again. All right, I am ready! Let's learn the last one then! The boy would exclaim with excitement. Before, his body was boiling with the liquefied fear in him. Now it boiled and became nothing, leaving a bunch of happiness and excitement. It was time to get the last thing down pat. You will either find this to be one of the better things, or maybe useless. It depends on Light. But this is the third one. And once you have done it, you are free to go my son. So with that said, when you are out in the real world, I want you to try to learn as much as you can about the Hikariton. If the two things I showed you are C and D rank, imagine A rank. Consider it an incentive. His mother would explain to him. The boy nodded his head in response before looking towards the other side of the The light was beginning to show, the Genjutsu was being released, it was almost time to return back to the real world.
