Chakra Katana [Obtainment]

The time for a weapon has come. About time one might say, considering he made the order a few weeks prior. However, the blade was here, just like he asked. Or so he would assume. See, the village was in the middle of a desert. And being in such a place tends to have messengers get stranded. A case of this was when Akane was coming, in which she would probably be dead if he had not guided her towards Suna. Now she seemed to be currently residing in the area, so that was a plus for the encounter they had. Still, he wanted her to stay. Maybe the blade would do the trick. Naturally, he was not going to threaten her with it, but show off how cool it was to her. How was this going to make her stay? Eh, the Akari just wanted a reason to show it off, in case he needed a shield for some reason, like someone would question his motives. Understandably so might one add, putting a 14 year old boy behind the handle of a sword. What did he plan to use with it? Does he really need a motive at this age was the real question, and he may or may not have forged a few signatures. With the Transformation technique, he would get the blade no problem, he was sure of it. As of currently, he was Aunt Nea. So he was going to have to approach the shop with her name. Naturally, he was going to pay with his own Ryo, and whose reputation was going to get damaged anyways? It was simply a sword exchange, and provided no one blew his cover, he should be fine. So of course, one should expect it by now, Haruki did have a plan.
It was not as elaborate was one may or may not expect from him, but what can one expect? This was just all too easy, and there was no need to create mayhem over something that a child such as him could do, assuming that said child also caught thieves and beat down those who tried to literally revive the dead. That being said, an Academy student could carry it out if they had paid enough attention to the details of one being. Haruki was a Genin that had been living with Aunt Nea all his life, so that was easily taken care of, and he could mimic her since he knew her nature. But before he does that, he would also make a Shadow Clone of himself, so that it would look like the classic Nea and Haruki pair that many knew him for. It was not to fool the shopkeeper, who did not know of the pair, but the others around him might be aware, considering a bit of chaos he might have caused with his pranks. See, his actions were already coming back to haunt him, he could only hope that one thing was not done, or he might get in serious trouble for it. And the wrath of the being that caught him was not like any other. So he would just hope that she did get get ahold of him, because she would then kill him. And while he could resist, he would not fight back since it was the one who raised him. If Aunt Nea knew of him making sword purchases using her identity, she might strangle every bit of oxygen from his lungs until they wither and die, falling off into nothingness. While that was obviously a figurative statement, it was not so much such so far from the truth.
So he was alone in the house, and Aunt Nea did say that she was going to be shopping today, so she was not there. Which store? That was not something that she had told him of, and he would now end up wondering what it even was. However, that was not on the list of things for him to do, and if he had to guess anyways, it was probably to go out and buy some food. That gave him a little bit of time to return back home, since it was only a sword being sold to him while she was getting bags and bags of things. Placing his palms against his hips, he would nod as he recalled what was at risk. Simply not getting what he wanted andhaving to wait a few more weeks, and having Aunt Nea watch him even closer than she normally does. And that might actually prevent him from doing some fun things, so he will not bother with getting caught. At this point, losing was not an option. The last thing that she saw him do was looking into a note journal that he had. It was supposed to have notes, but instead had a calender so he knew when the blade was coming. The weapon had clearly been on his mind for a while, and can one blame him? If anyone should be concerned for him, it was himself, because the damage done to him could be severe if it failed. See, he did not like having less power over an adult. It was not that he disrespected them, but it was just ethical to obey them and have to abide by their laws. Obey your elders, they do know the best. Or so he would always be told whenever he pranked one at the Hot Spring. Eh, foam balls hurt no one last he checked, and no one told him to not put them in, so technically, he was not disobeying them since there was no command to obey in the first place. However, that excuse went to no avail as they continued to scold him like the child he was, and eventually, he learned how to block them out from his mind and ignore their words. Again, he did not hear them say anything, so he was not quite disobeying them.
The mischevious child would then act according to the plan, placing his palms in the clone sign so that he would summon a being to his left side, another Haruki. Shadow Clones were independent, but knew what the original one was thinking, so he was taking advantage of that right now. Next, he would then carry out the five signs needed, imagining Aunt Nea in as much detail as he could, which was not too hard since there were so many memories of her. Once he had gotten her look down, his body would swarm with smoke, showing that the technique had been done. The clouds would then disappear before the new being would form, which was now Aunt Nea, who had a gentle smile rather than a playful one. She was rather decent actually. She was a character of much detail, it was hard to look exactly like her. But the Akari did well enough, and he thought so too as he looked into the mirror in front of him. The nod would confirm that he liked the result of what he had done, it was pretty close. With that, he would then look over to the Shadow Clone, who would in turn give him a thumbs up, knowing exactly what to do. And so the real Haruki, now Aunt Nea, would have to pretend to be calm and collected while getting the blade. It was a lot easier than he would think of it to be, just as long as he did not get caught by the real one, he should be fine! So the both of them would proceed to exit, the Shadow Clone just doing what he normally did, having a good time, cracking a few jokes, and maybe even playing a a small prank or too. Seems like he was doing very well, being in character and all. The real one envied himself a little bit, it looked like he was having a blast. But having a sword would be even more of a blast, and with that in mind, he would nod his head before raising his head up, giving a gentle wave to some people and sometimes lecturing the clone to stop doing whatever he was doing and telling him to come back. They seemed to well together, it was like he was actually Nea, and of course the Clone was actually Haruki, no doubt about that.
Once he reached the shopkeeper, he would make the transaction with the keeper. However, it was not too easy. For one thing, he took a new height that probably should have been made a little bit shorter. Or given the illusion of him being taller when he was his actual height. Too late to change that now, if he did that in public, people would begin to question him and know something was going on. And if push comes to shove, Nea might be around to witness that. So the first thing he needed to do was sign a little paper. Not even bothering to read it, he would grab the quill that was offered and signed onto the dotted line. With that, he would then give the Ryo needed to pay for the weapon, which was… A lot in his opinion. But it was all worth it. Placing his hands on his hips, he would look over towards the side to see the real Nea… Oh damn it… Keep calm… Keep calm… The clone seemed to be having this down pat. He would make a quick Image Manipulation so that she was unable to see the transformed Haruki. It was a bit tough, but he made it, and so that would occur. Some people would whisper, wondering about what was going on, since they can still see the Nea. Some realized that there were two, but as long as it was not the real one, things were all good. And even better, the keeper did not notice the other one either, working in his favor in the end. With that out of the way, he would then receive his sword, it was so nice and light, it swung very fast and seemed to have a very thin blade. The ability he wanted on it was to cut through terrains, up to a certain extent of course. It would depend on his own strength and the sharpness of the blade. With that out of the way, he needed to bail out, preferably using the Body Flicker technique. So he would casually walk away into an alley so that no one knew that he was going to carry it out. Once he got in the alley, he would then have the two signs formed, then feel the Chakra moving through his body quickly as if it were adrenaline. The other Haruki would do the same, and the both of them would charge together towards the house quickly, this was the fastest they ran. It would have been better to have a pair of rollerblades, but that would give the real Haruki away, and so he had to evade on foot, which gave him more control, but much less speed. Hopefully Aunt Nea was not home, that would increase the fear in him if she ended up knowing what he had done. And that alone gave him the motivation to practically slam his feet against the concrete, his body blurring before he finally made it.
Door swinging open, he’d charge to his room, released his Chakra so that he was normal Haruki again and the Shadow clone was gone, hid the blade under his bed, then picked up the journal once again, this time with his actual notes so it would look like he was still studying. A few seconds later, Aunt Nea would pop into the house regularly, as if nothing had happened. Even better, she even got him food! Haruki got really lucky this time, but how much more can he use before it ran out?
There was one thing left to do. See, he did plan to infuse the weapon with Chakra, so that it would be able to withstand any terrain. Plus, there normally was some sort of added effect with he did this, but he would have to discover what it was later. Chakra and materials were interesting, neither of which can be predicted until demonstrated. It was sort of like obtaining a Christmas present, you might get a few hints, but without opening up through all of the gift wraps, there is not much to obtain without that step being taken care of. So while Nea was distracted, he would summon a Shadow Clone once again to go to his room. It took a lot to get her attention, but he was able to avert it away from his room where the Katana was located. Under his bed, he would have it stored pretty far back against his wall. And to get Chakra to it evenly without messing up the weapon was going to take a good amount of time. So Haruki would just do what he normally did while the clone was trying to get the weapon done. However, minutes felt like hours as sometimes Nea would get far too close to the closed door that leads her to his room. However, provided she did not enter it, everything will be fine. Occasionally, the impatient real Haruki would walk into the room to see how it was going, and that often put them both at risk. However, neither of them ended up getting caught. So after one hour, the weapon had been completed, and the Shadow Clone would slide the Katana right under the bed. The real Haruki would open up his door before Aunt Nea had any suspicions as to why it was closed for so long in the first place. And with that, the duo of Haruki and Haruki were able to successfully hide a weapon from their mother. Did he feel bad for it? Well, he did not technically lie to his mother, he just his some things from her. That was another was of saying no, he did not have any regrets. This was a common habit of his, considering he liked to prank people, he needed to do this. While he never really played pranks on the legal guardian, he would still hide things from her to get what he wanted. A small little advantage that he had over her since he was training to be a ninja. Besides, the weapons as a good long-term investment and this little session was only a small price to pay for it. With that, he would get up from the scene and go outside, pretty much ready to carry on with his current life. Mainly to buy some ramen and maybe get some balloons to fill up with water in the future. Mr. Takaro was in for a little treat tomorrow. So... It was as if nothing had happened.
