The first stop

After being run out of the Fire Country on false accusations Mira traveled to the Island Country after hearing about Kirigakure dark teachings and beliefs. She decided to head there because she believed that they may be willing to hide her and at the same time she could investigate for information on new or forbidden jutsu that might help with her research. She entered the country by moving from one island to the next because of the raging storms and thick mist that cover the country made normal boat travel nearly impossible.

Each island was either covered in a thick forest or deep swamp, most would perish in this deadly environment but those who can live thru it will grow strong and wise to the workings of life. luckily for Mira her Tau body and upbringing made traveling thro the island's dense forests and rain’s easier but the journey was still quite the trial. After three days of travel she arrived at the edge of the village, like most of the island’s the village was covered in a thick mist that made it hard to see or define the village. After a bit of searching she finally found the main gate to the village and made her approach…

Ren was standing at the gates of the village outpost, a book in hand as always, it was another quiet day on guard duty, few tried to assail the mist village and the few traders who might have been traveling to the village we’re more afraid of the terrifying storm that constantly surrounded the ninja village than they were interested in the profits they might make. Looking up for a moment Ren was surprised to see a figure moving towards him through the mist.

Ren saw the figure heading towards the gates, it really was truely surprising to see a figure make it this far, even if they hadn't yet made it into the village proper, were it a stronger presence that Ren sensed from the individual he might have taken a more cautious approach but he could sense that this individual was far weaker than him, and so Ren called out to the figure, “who goes there?” he would call out to the figure, his body beginning to tense ready for a fight, just incase the figure tried to run.

Mira was startled at first but by being called out to in the mist but after seeing that it appeared to be a village guard she regained her normal calm composure. “Good evening…” As she got closer Mira was taken back by the face of the guard, it's fine features and soft looking face would make it appear the guard was a girl but Mira being a doctors student could tell from his adam's apple that the guard was a boy. “Good evening Sir! I have traveled to Kiri in hope to learn the ways and teachings of this village and was hoping you would allow me to enter the village.” She said with a smile on her face.

Mira was putting up her best good girl act trying to seem friendly but in truth besides her own family she had, had nearly no contact with other people. She needed to enter the village no matter what and find out if the information she sought was being taught to the ninjas of this village or being kept in their library, she believed it would be best if little people as possible know this so while she was there she would try to keep a low profile.
