Sal and oros midnight walk (p, nk)
Wed Oct 12, 2016 9:55 am
Orokana sighed. he held his new book. full of dreams and sins from someone no longer here. a legacy alien to him. it made him annoyed. he needed to take a walk. he looked and noted it was late in the night. he rubbed his head thinking about how he didnt sleep much anyways, and left his home. it made him happy to feel the coldness of the night and the loneliness of the darkness surrounding him. it made him relax. he walked around. listening to the whispers in his head not belonging to him. then a thought popped in his head. why? why what? why was he here walking in the night? why his fated leaded him to where he is now? no. he is thinking too deeply into these things. change. is that what he needed. to stop being how he is. how would he change? should he change? these thoughts where more maddening then the madness he faced a long time ago now. everyone was a fan of him he guess, well nothing he would enjoy. as his thoughts made him forget what he was doing he walked into someone.

Salzem decided he'd go for a midnight walk tonight, a walk where there was hardly anyone around besides the ninja and when the village was almost as quiet as death itself. Despite the comparison, it was rather nice tonight... The surroundings weren't too dark, the crickets chirped pleasantly in the background, and he still couldn't get over how good the ground beneath his feet felt. The moon shined down upon the endarkened world, it's silver light touching on every surface beneath its face. He remembered how it was the moon that morphed him into his lycanthrope from, how the light brought his demons to bare and made them manifest on the flesh of his body. Salzem remembered the lack of restraint and control of his beastial form, the instinct to kill and hunt always grossly obvious compared to his days before. It was something of a voice in the basement of his mind. Almost every time he walked past it, he could hear whispers, promises, descriptions of great hunts... The voice was never desperate nor was it impatient. It never seemed to lose its head as Salzem continued on his way. Always present, Always offering. Always convincing.
But he didn't come out here to dwell on that. He ignored sleep for a few hours to enjoy the silence of this place, to see what his home was like when all slept in their beds. He had to say, it was like stepping into another world... Where the sky was black and a dark fog obscured your vision, where nearly every house appeared abandoned, still, but also alive... Where the silver marble in the sky replaced the yellow blaze, both of which the fulcrum of both worlds. Of course, Salzem wasn't.... "complicated" enough to think of such things in that particular way.
Whatever thoughts he was having were interrupted when he bumped into someone, his shoulder slamming into the oncoming person, so deep was he in thought. He took a step back to give him a better look of the person he disrupted, offering something of an apologetic smile as well.
"Oh, sorry. I didn-" And there he was. Salzem recognized him now. It was that guy from the cemetery... The guy that offered to erase his memories for him... He stopped his apology dead, replacing it with a stare colder than a sword's edge. What a displeasure it was to see him again and all his flat-faced, no-emotion-but-annoying glory. Keeping himself from appearing immediately hostile was a task more difficult than tearing the village down, but he managed. Somehow.
"What are you doing here?" the lycan asked through only partially clenched teeth.

oro paused himself and looked at the boy. "oh from the graveyard, yes i forgot all about that, oh well, and well im off having a walk to clean my head or well try." he said as he moved pasted the boy. "so sorry for bumping into you, i was deep in thought, my apologizes." he said his his voice always so mono toned and his face all but bored. disinterested, and uncaring. "but i will be on my way, two souls meeting within the cover of the night is a mystery and one i wish to not explore, good evening." he said starting to walk away, not caring who he was and what he is doing, he was still stuck in his mind, not wanting to come out for now, or never. his sword jiggled as he moved. which echoed into the darkness. oro was tempted to say something but hen again he didnt care, the kid showed a disapproved aura. oro could feel that sal wasnt a fan of him. which was fine he didnt need to befriend sal. they would do there things. but without thinking oro said "are you done grieving? i dont know who those are that died but its never a happy day, its why i suggested my idea, some pain should be forgotten because it clouds judgement. if you feel i was out of line then forget what i asked." he said pausing his walk.

"Yeah yeah, whatever." Salzem brushed Oro's speech to the side, pushing past him as well to go about his walk before this cretin ruined it. The guy could talk just like Yen sometimes... It wouldn't surprise him if they were master and student... Salzem paused only for a moment as he remembered something Yen had asked him to do. He requested he train someone, look after that person even though he might hate him. With their obnoxious tenancies and and with Salzem starting to hate both of their voices, the lycan could only conclude that this kid was who Yensung was referring too. Silently, he cursed the Genjutsu specialist with insults that surprised even Salzem with their creativity. Somehow, Yen must have known about the scene at the graveyard and set up this plan to put both him and this kid in a room together. He could already begin to feel his hatred for the aburame begin to spark once again. Instead of lashing with his immediate rage and frustration, Salzem took a deep breath to calm his nerves before heading in his respective direction once again.
He barely got five feet into his walk before Oro, being the absolute moron that he was, seemingly attempted to justify his actions back at the graveyard, a day Salzem wanted to forget. He really was just like his master. He didn't know when to shut. up. There was no real physical indication he was enraged by his comment, instead, showing only passive disinterest and a deceptively sharp gaze aimed to cut right through Oro's emotionless armor. He turned to face him, but only enough so that his right side was facing him with his head turned to face as well. One could practically see the wall built up behind his eyes, the mortar and brick keeping even the tiniest drop of emotion from leaking its way through. If only one drop escaped.... there would be floodgates and someone was going to get hurt.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. I don't really care about your reasons. See you later." With that unfortunate truth said, he continued on his way, refortifying the wall with reminders of promises and restraint: both of which were slowly losing their effectiveness. Truth was, Salzem was going to have to see that kid later to fulfill his promise to Yen, curse him. He had to train with this kid, teach him, all the while keeping himself in check... After Oro gets his... Yen would too for putting him up to this...

"have a pleasant night." he said trying to sound kind but it would come off as a fake tone. its the best he could he. and he started his walk again. his mind going back to thinking, what he should do, it pulled on his moral compass, which he never used before so he was at a lost. his mind felt like it was drained. his body felt heavy. maybe he should head home. no he couldnt. he cant sleep. well maybe he could kill time. as he thought he pulled out a smoke and lit it. he sighed. "why couldnt i be blessed." he whispered to himself. maybe he should bury himself in books, try to find a story similar to his, that way he can just see what a right choice would be. no he didnt have enough time. he felt like others would laugh at him. should he go find a soul to confined in? no he didnt have anyone he could do that to, if he went to yen he knew what he would say, try to be better for the leaf, be someone people can respect, or something like that. his mind was always sent on the leaf, either him dying for it or him training others to do the same. it made oro sick when he thought of it, how could someone have so much love, and to people he would never meet. well yen must have had something to push him like that, maybe the lost eye had something to do with it. orokana looked at his hand and noticed his smoke was about to burn out, well whatever. he should quit anyways. not a smart idea is it. one thought he had that kept bugged him was how unique others where compared to him. how others found others and fought for them. or wanted vengeance. he was an asshole wasnt he. selfish. never doing something for others. that was a flaw he had, maybe on he should keep, god knows if he gave up on his selfishness yen would make sure oro died in some honorable way for the leaf, sounded like some bad recruitment ad. what ever. oro then looked back at the boy. hmmm should he... he smiled, why not. as sals wasnt facing him oro started to use the tiger hand seal. casting Bringer of Darkness (power of 60) onto sal. as paused and waited to see what his move would be, he wanted to see how he would act to form a plan. but he drew his sword waiting to act if needed.

Salzem again only got another five feet (a grand total of 10) before something else started to go horribly wrong. His vision began to blur and mix with the surroundings, the darkness beginning to consume all. This wasn't right... It couldn't be right... And if this kid was learning under Yen, he must be the one doing this. With a frustrated growl, Salzem slammed his hands into the tiger sign, flooding his body full of chakra. With his energies on the move, whatever debilitating chakra Oro was channeling into him was negated, leaving the lycan unharmed and enraged. As he did before, he turned to face the kid, noting the sword in his hand with a grim frown on his face. So THAT'S what this was... huh? An assassination attempt while his master was away? Was he that stupid? Salzem drew own katana, one of the three blades he kept with him at all times.
"Because you're learning under one of my best friends, I'm going to give you this warning." He hissed a cruel, twisted edge to his otherwise detached and cold demeanor. "If you attack me or do that again, I'm going to rip you into so many pieces, it will be Yen's new past time to find every one." The scary part was, he might actually follow up on that threat. His head burned with a sort of vengeful anger that demanded sustinance. No, this fire would not consume wood as kindling or gas as fuel. What it required was something far more simple to acquire: Watching Oro's world burn. It was as if the dam walled up behind Salzem's eyes were of ignited gasoline, burning behind a barrier of brimstone.
"I think you know you can't win. Go home before you make me kill you."

It seemed that his threat had shook the apparent attacker to his core, freezing him in place with not a word exchanged. It was actually kind of disturbing in it of itself how still Oro stood, akin to that of a stature with it's feet molded into the floor. Salzem's burning glare cooled into something of minor concern, unsure of what a look like that actually meant. Instead of approaching him or going on the offensive, Salzem sheathed his blade, slamming his hands into the ram sign. Chakra flowed through his body and, in a second, he disappeared, skipping along the roof-tops at a speed of 195.

orokana waited for sal to do something. staring at sal. not saying a word. then he noted sal trying to leave. oro rolled his eyes. "what running with your tail between your legs? and i thought you where a ninja." he said as oro sheathed his sword. he should get a response from that. "i guess no one likes to spar now a days, but i guess not everyone can win fights." he tried to press sals buttons more. he wanted sal to make the first attack, so oro had an idea of how he handled things, but if oro needed to he wouldnt hesitate to make the first move. oro readied himself to use body flicker in a moments notice. his hands twitching in his pockets to use the hand seal. he waited and stared. he figured he would lose this spar but he wanted that loss, then he would know what he needed to get better at.

It seemed Oro finally processed everything that happened thus far, though that didn't seem to help his common sense at all. As Salzem slammed his hands into the ram sign, the stupid kid couldn't help but pester him, attempting to rile him up with cheep insults one could acquire in a second-rate book like Make-Out Tactics. Unfortunately for future-Salzem's esteem, it worked. Gritting his teeth to keep himself from screaming, Salzem did complete his body-flicker, but, instead of disappearing from the scene out of sight, He would appear a foot behind behind Orokana, arm raised off to his side (speed 195). At this particular speed and distance, the not-so-loudmouth would have not even a ghost of a chance to catch his movement. Instead, it would appear as if Salzem were consumed by the surrounding darkness, no longer visible nor immediately detectable. Blue chakra began leak from the lycan's pores, forming a blazing azure aura around him as his sanguine eyes glared daggers into the back of his skull. In an instant, Salzem's arm would colide with the back of Oro's neck with such force, the blow itself would send him sprawling in forward, perhaps even knocking him out with that one blow (Speed 155, Strength 43). Salzem wasn't done, however. With a speed of 125, he was in front of Oro again before he could roll 3 feet. The lycan spun to the side, stretching out his leg in a reverse-round house back kick that would connect with Oro's cheek, redirecting his forward momentum to the side (Speed 160, Strength 43), causing him to fly towards one of the nearby houses around them. Oro would smash into one of the stone walls, no doubt cracking it and possibly causing him to spurt blood from his mouth. Salzem would stand there in front of the kid, hands in his jacket pockets as he glared down at his worthless shape. It was pathetic really. Not Oro, no. He couldn't help being the crock of hot air he was, but it was Salzem's inability to keep himself in line.
"Good game." Salzem said, voice heavy with sarcasm, but he did not leave, his morals keeping him from leaving the idiot in that broken and battered state though not enough to convince him to help him to the hospital. He'd probably wait until someone passed by and then hand off that responsibility to them. So he stood glaring down at Oro's weakened shape with a disapproving scowl. Secretly, Salzem wondered if anyone would miss him if no one were to come along.

oro didnt see him move but felt it. his body was a rag doll flying till he hit a wall and fell into the ground. oro pushed himself from the ground. his arms feeling sore and heavy. he looked up at sal blood dripping from his head down past his chin. oro smiled at sal. "out matched, i havent felt this pain for a long time." oro stared at sal, finally there where life and excitement in oros eyes. he felt his body ache with pain, his body hot, the blood rushing out of his veins and onto his skin. the last time oro felt this pain was when he was back home in his village he was 'born' in. the bandits the lived in the village used oro as they pleased and beat oro as they pleased. using that information he was so use to he felt a blood lust, or maybe not a blood lust, an adrenaline rush maybe. then while he looked into sals eyes, he casted Genjutsu Binding (power 40) making sal unable to move, oro slowly started to stand and looked down at his feet watching his blood drip. "your strong and fast, but your weakness is still easy to read." he said as he looked at sal again. as he lifted his right arm in the air and said. "dont worry, a small fry like me couldnt win." he smiled at sal even more as he casted Lightning Release:Lightning Rod (power 35 speed 35) and touching sal with his left shocking sal as he touched. oro figured that if this was a real fight oro would have died easily, that or this is how he really did fight which oro could kill him, which he has a chance to as of now. oros weaknesses he memorized, he knows most people could out match him easily, he was sue to fighting people weaker then him by a lot or people stronger them him by miles, this was closer. all he needed to do was do one or 3 things right and oro could win, but sals speed was an issue, oro couldnt win in a race with him, nor his strength, the only hoped he was was sal lowering his guard. which he did, oro was use to pain but that being said it still phased him like a normal person. he figured sals weakness was how simple minded he was, make him mad he got mad, nothing complex, he was sure if he talked about his mother in a bad way he could easily get sal angry, oro sees emotions as a steering wheel, different emotions triggers different results. in sals case he was mad, meaning he was less careful, didnt think things all the way, maybe did things too extreme to prove a point. which is what sal did more or less, but oro took in more damage then he would have liked, he thought he had about 90 different broken bones just in his rib cage. "poke a lion with a stick and loss a hand eh." he said to himself out loud. " so now you are stuck for a little bit, and im bleeding to death, not a fair trade, since i have you tied up i was thinking, what happened to you to make you so bitter, you seem to not to be the life of a party as well as harbor a real hate for me, i would normally say something about how i stole your girl but i havent made it with any woman by any forms, but i guess you would be a ladies man eh, fast strong, a real white knight, like that one girl from the grave yard, you didnt like me talking to her very much, but doesnt matter chances are i will never talk to her again." he said as he slowly took out his sword and pinned it to the ground, having it help him stand up with out falling. "im surprised you didnt kill me, or is it because you want to be a good lapdog and only break a couple bones from people you dont like, no matter i guess. oh and no i dont stop talking, i like the sound of my voice, but dont worry i think im going to black out soon, then you can finish the job how ever you would like, save the man that pushes your buttons or kill him, if i am honest no one would miss me, most wouldnt even know i died. if you ever wanted to kill someone nows a chance to do it safely, or will you play the protector card again." oro kept his eyes on sals eyes, his smile more smug now. oro kept playing his cocky asshole game, but he didnt lie, he knew what he could and couldnt do.
