Mastering a tech

oro got up during the morning a day or so before the exams started in suna. the day was hot. as he imagined, the beds where not the best but he made due. he walked to the training grounds and grabbed some water on his way. he then looked around. it was an awful place and he could feel the sand getting in his shoes. it was an itchy and a annoying feeling that he hated. he sighed deeply and found a spot away from others. his plan was to master his use of Electromagnetic Murder he figured he needed to master it for it was one of his only range attacks, and he couldnt afford only using his sword.  so he started to pool his chakra into his hands and shot out the lighting as he shocked a nearby rock. he noted how much chakra it took out of him and how long it took him to use the hand seals to form the tech. first he started to use less chakra to use the tech. first by doing a taking out just a small amount, to see if he could pull out the chakra and the tech would still work or not. he sighed as it would flicker a bit and fail. he thought about it, he needed to make it work. as it almost did work he just needed to practice it more. so he set up his tech again. and startd to do it over and over. hearing the lighting spark and flicker each time made him more calm and relaxed. he was in his own world. and made him forget the heat that suna had, he hated feeling hot so in a place like suna was his bane. plus having his coat with him was worse so he left it at the place he was staying. meaning he would need to not wear it. which both annoyed him and relaxed him. he didnt feel stressed but he should be. this would be a hard time for oro, fighting those in the exam, people like yen, jace, queen, none are easy foes, and he knew they could easily win if he had to fight him. he figured he had the best time fighting yen for he seen him use some of his things before, but that doesnt mean it would be easy mode for him. oro couldnt make a solid plan fighting any of them if he had to, but the real issue is him not knowing the others in the exams, he had so little information, and the same could be said for them, oro was a wild card to some in the exams. he always had a way to fight around the enmies, either his gen or his speed, but those where common people, not real ninjas. here people would be either the same power and speed oro would have, or be stronger. these are not welcoming thoughts. he regretted him signing up for the exams, but he did so he might as well try to do his best. he sounded like a preppy school girl. he sighed. 

he noticed the tech was working normal again. so he started to take out more chakra, and slowly did it again. this time taking a small chuck. it was almost a 4th of chakra he would have used but he tried to use it anyways. and to his luck it worked, he mastered his chakra control of the tech, now he needed to try using less hand seals so he could use the tech faster. which would be awkward. he didnt have the tech in his book, the book oro had only had genjutsu techs in it that he has learned. the old leather book he always had. he kept it for so long. all his time spent on that book. that book knew oro better then anyone else could. yet it was just an object. he sighed. and started to drink some water before he started again. he was sweating. probably due to the sun and heat. he cursed. and swore. he took out his book and set it on a rock near him, not one he was using for target practice. then started to use the tech again. he use the seals as normal Boar → Ram → Snake → Horse → Dragon. as the tech worked he tried again after a second. and skipped using the dragon seal. it kinda worked. but then again, it would flicker near the end and fail. but it still worked a bit. so he kept at it. making sure to skip the dragon seal. each time the tech would just fail near the end. but that didnt stop oro from keeping on his training. slowly he would do better. which would make him sigh. his mind wandered for a moment. as he heard the whispering of madness in the back of his mind. he thought about his time he spent in the leaf. the cold lonely place he called home. his mind raged. home, he hated the word. it made him feel like he was at home. a place he never had as he was young. what he did wasnt a good thing. working for people that would only beat you and didnt care about if you where ok, no love, no warmth of emotions. it made him cold inside. yen, and others tried making it so he could feel more at home, more safe. then he found out his parents lived in the leaf. but died some time after his birth from something. making them leave him at his cursed place with those bandits. he was a dead leaf on the tree. dead weight. he knew from his time reading books the heroes cold have done it better, could have had less pain, if they didnt use the power of there loved ones to win the battle. when you are alone you can do so much, you control what you do, you cant control others, not matter how hard you try. yet the leaf was living proof he was wrong. yen once said the leaf was one big family. and the kage was the father of the family. what good would a family the size of the leaf be. it annoyed him. but he didnt know if it annoyed him because he was wrong, or because he can face him being  all these events are beyond his control, so he didnt let it bother him too much. he hated it. he hated it so much it made his head scream. but this wasnt his world. he didnt make the rules nor could he change the rules. he was a lamb with the other sheep and the Shepard was the kage. they all where fools. but he would listen, and try to leave, either by being a wanderer, or by walking out of the village. either way was good for him. 

he sighed as he snapped back to reality, and did the tech again. and noticed the tech was working fine with out the use of the dragon seal. so he smiled and took out the horse seal. and started his training from step one again. as the tech would fail from him trying to do it with out a step. he thought about the steps needed to use the techs with out needing to follow the steps a hundred percent. in the end he wanted to use this lighting tech with one hand seal. and with little chakra as he can while keeping the power the same. it wasnt something too hard to do, he has seen people done things like it before, if not for this tech he was trying to master, but his lack of ability in nin would make this harder then doing it for some gen tech. it would be very easy for oro if that was the case. but he didnt let that bother him, he had an idea so he would keep at it till he finished that idea. he did notice that the more he did it the better it got to what he wanted as an end goal. the training in the hot sun made oro want to die. the heat that he wasnt use to took almost all his energy. but he ignored it, like he did most other things. he fell on the ground and coughed at a point. he needed a break and some water. he took his water bottle and chugged it all till it was empty. and sat under a buildings shadow so he was safe from the sun. the sun he hated. he was use to the cool air inside as he read his book or the nice breeze in the forest where he trained in the leaf. he figured he wouldnt want to come to the sand ever again if he could avoid it. but he saw a different land, and a different people. he still wanted to explore the other areas the world had to offer. see the different people. his only hope was to have the kage promote him to wanderer and if not try to leave again he thought. well one reason he could have was to see if he can find any other clans men he would have. their eyes where unique so it shouldnt be hard to do it. but the kage might see though oros lie and or not show interest in it. either way he needed a plan to try and convince the kage to agree.he sighed and pushed the thoughts to the back of his head and stood up ready to continue. it was only noon so he had a lot of time to finish his short training day. he began to use the tech over and over on the rock using 2 less hand seals then normal. the tech would fail and fail as he tried. but showed better results each time. 

he smiled to himself. it worked he used the tech with one less and seal. and as he kept wasting the day till he mastered the tech. he got the ability to use it with a little less chakra and could only use one hand seal to use the tech. which made it easier to use in tough areas. plus vs his enemy in the exam coming up he can use this new tech to try and give himself an edge, or so he hoped. he took out his sword and looked at it. he sighed. the tech couldnt beat his sword skills, which where not the best. which either means he was better with the sword or that his ninjutsu skills needed more work. which half annoyed him. but he would work on that later, for now he was going to work on his exams. his first fight was against a wild card to oro, so all he needed to do was play safe and try to waste their chakra. but he might have more then enough to chew for. he was under experienced and under powered. he would be an under dog in this case. he knew these battles would be a up hill battle but he didnt know how bad it would be. so he sighed as he made his way back to where he was staying and rested for the big day coming. he cleaned his clothes and got a good meal. he cleaned his sword and made sure he made a game plan. all he needed to do was let his foe use their chakra and he should win. then he would need to go against yen. which he couldnt hope to win, so he would just try to put on a show and show yen how he has grown. which was scary for yen knew a lot about oro and oro knew very little of yen. the odds where not kind to him like normal.
