(Training) Evening at the academy.
Wed Feb 08, 2017 11:30 pm
After yet another boring day at the academy Hikaru decided to stay behind on the academy grounds. He looked at all the other academy students practicing their pathetic attempts at the academy taijutsu before laying on the grass and staring up at the sky. As he looked he got a slight feeling of unease, almost as if someone was watching him. He shook it off, the blur attacking him had definitely shaken him up, more than he cared to admit.
He stood up and brushed himself down, looking around for a suitable place to practice his transformation jutsu. He began to walk to one of the shaded parts of the grounds, trying to remember the hand seals for the jutsu. Was it Dog-Boar-Ram or was it Dog-Ram-Boar? He sat next to the tree and began to meditate. He had found that having to remember lessons after not paying attention in them at all was giving him excellent memory recall.
He was at the back of the classroom staring out of the window, once again caring little for whatever chakra theory or ninja morals the teacher was going to talk about. In the corner of his eye he could see the teacher talking, endless sounds with little meaning. He was uninterested until his teacher brought his hands into a seal and, in a puff of smoke, he was the Mizukage. Hikaru's head snapped around to look at the teacher, startling the people next to him with the sudden movement.
Hikaru continued to meditate but the memory eventually dissolved into nothingness. Because it wasn't fighting the lesson eventually got boring for him and he continued to stare out of the window. Hikaru sighed, at least he could remember the seals Dog-Boar-Ram. He got up and began to concentrate, forming the seals Dog-Boar-Ram. He began to gather his chakra and focused on an image of his teacher. In a puff of smoke a short skinny person with unproportional facial features stepped out. He walked to the pond and looked at his own reflection. He almost gagged, how could he mess up this badly?
He looked up to see the other academy students wiping tears of laughter from their faces. He balled his fists up and started to grab his kunai. As his fingers graced the handle he stopped and looked around, the ninja that attacked him might be waiting for him to slip up so he could have an excuse to kill Hikaru. He closed his eyes and resumed his usual uninterested manner. Before walking back to the tree and tried Transformation again.
This time he focused more sharply, more and more details coming into view as he concentrated on the image of his teacher the mole on his left cheek and the kiri headband. He did the hand seals Dog-Boar-Ram and silently whispered "Transformation jutsu" He was enveloped in a puff of chakra smoke and an almost perfect replica of his teacher stepped out. Any academy students wouldn't be able to tell the difference, he didn't know if genin could tell the difference though, better to not test it.
He closed his eyes again, this time he wanted to try and transform into a random civilian he saw down the street. He recalled back to the time when he was six and alone, starting fights with random strangers. In one of his memories he saw a plump brown haired male civilian looking at him distastefully. He closed his eyes and tried to capture the snob's personality and ugly face perfectly. He closed his eyes and did the hand seals. As smoke encased him once again he stepped out. He quickly went to the water to check himself. Looking back at him he saw a perfect replica of the civilian he had once saw.
he flopped onto the ground next to the river, he had learnt it. He was finally ready to participate in the genin exams. When he graduated he was going to find the ninja that attacked him. He wanted to learn what hardships he had to go through to achieve the power he controlled.
