“ Ram… Snake…Tiger,” Gin said while completed the final hand sign

“I'm going to get it this time.”Like a sculptor designing a magnificent sculpture,  Gin imagined himself molding the chakra within him until he was confident that he had created a perfect chakra construct of himself.

“ Clone technique,” The academy student said while simultaneously releasing his chakra, channeling his chakra into his creation. Not even a second later Gins clone appeared. At first glance, it would seem as if the young academy student succeed in his endeavor, but after closer inspection, one could see one glaring mistakes. The clones height. Gin stood at an average height of five foot five. His clone stood at a height of five foot seven. Though Gin liked the idea of being slightly taller than he currently was, he didn’t like the idea of his clone being taller than him. Not only did it meant that he performed the just wrong...again; it also made him feel as if his clone was superior to him,  and that was one thing he could not accept. He could accept failure, even though it was annoying and tended to appear a lot more often than he wanted it to in his life, he could accept it. Just like his older brother always used to say “  Failure isn't the opposite of success, it's apart of it. Without failure, you can’t have success.Like the sun and the moon. Without  both of them, we wouldn't be able to live .”

However, allowing someone to feel superior to be superior to him was not something he could accept. One of his biggest pet peeves was feeling weak.In the world he lived in, Weaklings were exploited and preyed upon the strong. Not wanting to end up dead like his brother, or wanting to end up missing like his parents Gin trained hard and daily to become a strong and not weak.

Gin pulled out his kunai and slashed at where the clones jugular would be.  As soon as his blade made contact with the clone, the clone disappeared as if it had evaporated into the air. Gin glared at the spot where the clone use to stand.

“Why did the academy deemed it necessary for us to learn such and useless technique?” As the final word left his mouth  Gin could just picture his brother standing over him, lecturing him about how all Justus are important and if used creatively even an academy level technique could take down a Kage if used correctly.

"But big brother that's impossible only super strong techniques can take down a Kage not weak academy level ones," The young boy couldn't wrap his head around his brother's words. How could someone as powerful as a Kage be acceptable to academy level jutsu. The idea was ludicrous, his brother must have been pulling his leg. There's just no way an academy student could ever beat a ninja of a higher rank.

Gin's older brother shook his head in amusement and laughed. "I'm sorry to burst your bubble Gin, but that simply isn't the case. Many strong shinobi have been defeated by low-level Jutsu.” Young Gin nodded his and acted as if he understood the meaning behind his older brothers word; It might have been his age or maybe it was the fact that his teacher constantly told him that it would be unwise to challenge a shinobi of a higher rank and he should just run away, but Gin never truly understood his brother's words until the day of his death. His brother, a newly promoted chunin,  was able to kill two high skilled anbu operatives and mortally wound the final one. If he wasn't there for himself Gin wouldn't have believed his brother was capable of such strength.  Though Gin didn't want to insult his brother's strength, his brother was indeed strong in his own right, but he lacked the physical strength and large amounts of chakra needed to excel in either Taijutsu or ninjutsu, the bread, and butter of most powerful ninja. However, he was exceptional when it came to chakra control. Unlike his classmates who had a  hard time manipulating their chakra, Naoki was a natural at it. This allowed him to excel in genjutsu due to the fact that the art required pinpoint chakra control in order for it to be effectively used. However, Since genjutsu was an unappreciated art, Naoki was often looked down upon by his peers, his teachers, and even Gin. This however changed when he managed to kill the anbu with his genjutsu, and the few ninja weapons he had on him.  Since that day forward Ginjo vowed to do three things. The first thing was to never allow his pride to blind him. The second was to take all his brothers teachings to heart and not disregard them His final vow was to take up his brother’s mantle and become a master at genjutsu.

Once again Gin quickly shifted through the hand signs and molded his chakra, “ Ram… Snake…Tiger.” Wearing a mask of concentration and determination, Gin released his chakra.

“ Clone technique.”

Beside him stood a perfect clone. After being unable to find any glaring mistakes with his clone Gin stopped sending chakra to his clone effectively causing it to disperse. With his training for the day completed Gin decided it was about time for him to go home and make himself some dinner.

Evening Training Empty Re: Evening Training

The Kirakgure Shinobi Library was open 24-hours, so even though it was late when he'd left the Hokage Tower, Gin headed straight there. Luckily, it was also late enough that Gin didn't run into anyone else there. Even as though unfamiliar as he was with the library, it didn't take him long to find what he was looking for. Though Gin didn’t usually spend most of his time in the library, due to the fact academy students are unable to learn anything that is above their rank, he decided to come here any ways.  So he grabbed half-a-dozen dusty books that were on the meager old shelf dedicated to ninjutsu and took them back to his apartment and began to read.

That day during the class his sensei was lecturing the class about the power of sealing Jutsu.  Unlike the other times his sensei lectured them, Gin actually found himself engrossed with the new topic. According to his sensei, Fūinjutsu was an extremely powerful that possessed large amounts of potential for those that possessed the talent and the creativity to use it.  A seal had managed to defeat and imprison the bijju, arguably the strongest beings on the planet. It was just ink on paper yet it held so much power… “Yeah,” Gin decided “I’m definitely going to learn to add Fūinjutsu to my arsenal.”

Once he got back to his apartments Gin immediately grabbed one of the books from his pile and began to read.  The book in question was an orange with large black bolded letters that read “Fūinjutsu or dummies”. The title made the young shinobi frown, Gin knew for the fact that he wasn't intellectual challenge, but he began to ready any ways. Despite the author's... interesting choice of a tile for his book- that is supposed to inform others about the author's area of expertise instead of insulting them- the book was really useful and possessed tons of useful information and tipped that should prove useful in the future.

Fūinjutsu was definitely very difficult to learn, not only did one had to have the chakra control necessary to activate the seals, but one also had to be proficient with writing the seals perfectly as well.  Gin wore a look of determination as he slowly drew the on the scroll in front of him.  Each stroke was drawn carefully, anything less would prevent the seal from working.During his three-hour training session learned this the hard way. Which is expected from an academy student who wasn't gifted in the art of Fūinjutsu. After, completing the seal for the first time Gin tried to activate his seal, but was unable due to the fact that he drew the length of the seal an inch too long. Gin didn’t realize his mistake until after he spent fifteen minutes trying to pump chakra into a broken seal. Fūinjutsu was funny that way, all it takes is one mistake to ruin hours upon hours of work. Fūinjutsu was definitely one of the harder ninja arts.

It was three o'clock in the morning and Gin was dead tired. He had spent all night trying to learn the jutsu. Fortunately for him, his persistence paid off, the tip of his index was producing a bright light. Any other time Gin would have been concerned if his finger was glowing blue while he was learning a new jutsu,it could have been a new type of fatal disease that ate chakra or something, but according to his book that was a sign that his jutsu was a success.  Eager to try out the Jutsu, Gin first walked over to his chest with all of his personal belongings  in it and placed the seal.”Fūinjutsu Lock, ”as soon as the seal came in contact with the chest an array of circles upon the door. Eager to cast the Fūinjutsu again Gin recreated the seal and walked over to the door and cast the seal. Gin eye’s widened in horror once he realized what he has done. “ I just used Fūinjutsu to  place myself under house arrest and I didn’t even realize it.”  Gin then raced over to the book and began to tear flip through his book in search for the Fūinjutsu that could break other Fūinjutsu. “ Maybe this book truly was made for dummies.”
