Taking Sora out on the Town

There, right there, the boy hadn't expected it, but there it was, Senshi's ultimate jutsu, the disapproving glare of absolute shame. Sora flinched internally but kept his face neutral as he stood in front of Senshi straight as a board, waiting for the next mission.

"This is the second mission before we head out I want to hear your idea on a plan for how we should conduct it. Also, list reasons why this mission will be useful to you." Senshi said. Sora nodded, he wouldn't forget this time. It was a small request this time without any training in between. Forgetting this request would be plain embarrassing.

"Of course, Senshi-sempai, I feel as if we should do the same thing we did with the mail. We both go different ways to pick up trash and finish this mission quicker. I feel as if this mission would help me find the layout of the village more, and maybe even know where to go first if we ever get invaded, or something like that," Sora finished lazily scratching his head.

"Oh, yeah! I could also get to know some of the residents." Sora ended with a bright smile.

Senshi nodded at Sora’s explanation of why the mission would be good and his reasoning behind how to conduct the mission. “Then that is how we shall do it. You know the addresses to pick up, I will take the farther location as I am faster. Meet you at the trash yard. Do not forget to sort the trash into recyclables.” With that Senshi nodded to the boy and headed towards the local to pick up all the trash bags. As he ran he pulled out the trash mission C rank that they had and used the Fuuinjutsu Lock C rank variant on it to seal it closed before focusing on his task at hand.
 

Once he arrived at the first location he grabbed the trash from the trash can on the street and repeated the process with the following four houses. He then took off running to the trash company that was half way across town. Once there he looked around and not seeing his apprentice proceeded to quickly sort his trash and then stand back and wait for Sora to arrive. The trash foreman was out on business so they wouldn’t have to deal talking with him. He crossed his arms as he patiently waited for Sora to arrive.

It was faster than he expected. Unlike the last mission, he got peace and noticed some beautiful and disgusting things about the village called Kumogakure. He realized how everyone got along fairly well, and sometimes how much someone could hate something. 

Killer Intent was thrown wild by some villagers, but others just acted like it was nothing. Was it natural for such hate to be launched towards others? Sora didn't know what happened, but it seemed like these citizens should learn to love instead to hate.

"What a stupid thought," Sora laughed to himself as he got the last trash bag and picked out the recyclable stuff before throwing it into a small blue bin. After he finished he rushed back to Senshi with a small smile. He was getting pretty tired, but he wouldn't stall his sensei.

Senshi nodded politely to Sora when the boy appeared and waited for him to complete sorting the trash and the come over to him. Once he was there Senshi pulled the final D rank mission scroll from his pocket, taking a quick glance at it. “Head to training ground three, I will meet you there. Move as fast as possible, try to use this as a training opportunity.” Senshi then turned and headed in the opposite direction, his intention being to test how well Sora followed orders. He replaced the scroll into his pocket the formed the ram seal and took off at a far faster speed than before.
 
It didn’t take long before Senshi arrived at the supply office where he accepted twelve training dummies sealed inside a scroll before turning and heading back towards the training grounds. He once again used the body flicker, and once that ran out the Flicker Technique, to increase his speed. He was intent on showing up at the same time as his student. More as a way to show the Genin that if he trained hard he could one day be just as strong and fast. Senshi wanted to motivate the brunet child into training hard and continuing to do so.
 

Once Senshi arrived in the training grounds he noticed Sora appearing just a few seconds later. He gave a nod of approval at the boys drive to move fast and try to get here as soon as possible before he unrolled the scroll with the training dummies and unsealed the twelve of them. “Our mission is very simple, we just need to replace the training dummies and collect any left over weapons or wire in the area. Ill take the north and east, you take the south and west. Watch out for any traps that may still be in place, I don’t want you to get injured. If you need help call out and I should hear you.” Senshi left out the eventually part as he turned to head north and start collecting scarp.

Sora grinned. As fast as you can, you say Senshi-sempai? He puts his hands into a Ram sign and uses chakra to enhance his speed. Genin Uzumaki soars as the chakra fuels him to go faster than before. While he used the jutsu he hoped he'd make it there as fast as Senshi could, but he was a few minutes behind, it was too be expected though as, once again, he was way more experienced than him. 

Their ranks displayed it. Sora jogged carefully through the training grounds, being wary of traps just as his sensei had said. He picked up multiple broken, cracked, and dull kunai and shuriken. How hard was it to clean up after yourself? If he ever sparred with someone or used weapons he'd pick them up afterward to preserve them for later.

He'd pick up trails of wire that seemed to be cut or ripped in some sort of way that he guessed would be unusable by others. It seemed that they were just outright too lazy to even look to see if it was all done. After collecting all the scrap he went to the traps. They gave him a few ideas for a few he could set up later, or if he was ever on any other serious mission.

As he walked back to Senshi he felt something clench against his leg and suddenly his center of gravity flipped and he was hanging upside down. His eyes narrowed, of course, this would happen to him of all people.

"Ugh..." Sora muttered as he used his muscles to swing up and try to grab the rope holding him up. He guessed that he didn't do sit-ups enough because there was no way gravity would let him do it. The next second with a kunai in his grip he aimed very carefully, or as careful as he could hanging down, and let it launch. The rope was cut and he flipped and landed gracefully.

"At least I didn't hurt myself doing that-" The kunai fell and hit him in the head causing his eye to twitch. "Ow."

Picking up his kunai he ran back over to Senshi with a smile, "Finished Sensei, I presume this is the last mission?"

Senshi moved off to complete his own portion of the mission, dodging around the traps and then dismantling them with practiced ease. It was something he was used to doing since he set his own traps quite often. Especially since that Capture the Flag game he had played with Komon, Komori, Reizo, and Max. He had easily learned how useful traps could be when you knew the area that you were fighting in. It had certainly made it a lot harder on his fellows when he had controlled the entire fighting field. In fact, Senshi was sure that if he had not decided to reveal himself the game would have taken hours to complete.
 
They may have never found him. As Senshi finished dismantling traps and collecting scrap metal he returned to the clearing. Not seeing his apprentice in sight Senshi shrugged and quickly replaced the broken training dummies with the newer ones he had retrieved earlier. By the time he had completed that Sora had returned to the clearing and Senshi collected the scrap metal he had found and sealed it into his sealing scrolls. Standing up in a single fluid motion he gave an approving nod to the young Genin before speaking.
 

“Good job today Sora, go ahead and head home and rest. We have a bust couple days planned. Meet in the training grounds for some training in three days time, I need to teach you some more skills before we can conduct further missions. Have a good day.” With that Senshi turned and headed towards the village, intent on returning in the scrap metal and completing his reports. As he ran he pulled out the first mission of the day and focusing his chakra he broke the C rank Lock he had put on it before filling it out as he ran. He filled out the final two reports just as he arrived at the mission office. Dropping them off, he headed off to complete his Gate Guard duty for the day.

"Thank you, Senshi, I'll see you later sensei," Sora said taking off towards the orphanage. He couldn't wait to tell his little brother about his first ever sensei!
