Taijutsu Training with a Demon.

Genin. Sei was itching to receive the rank. While he'd already learned the two required techniques for graduation and was likely approaching the expected strength to be on par with the average genin but the Yuki would hardly be satisfied with that. He couldn't be. With Sei's clan scattered and anyone with his name likely a huge target for missing nin or other villages Sei would have to be two steps ahead of his peers. It was for this reason that he'd been searching the various public libraries of the village, looking for even the slightest of edges in the form of books to teach him various techniques. of course, being an academy student didn't exactly get him access to even D-Rank Jutsu so when he came across a book going over some advanced taijutsu techniques...well...advanced for an academy student at least he was surprised.
"Inside to Outside Block. So, this says i'll be in a position to counter attack with a strike that's faster or stronger than usual depending on how i block. Interesting..."
Sei was sat in class once more. disregarding the teacher's basic presentation of chakra flow. While he didn't want to sound cocky he'd read about it in twice as much detail in his mother's journal. The theory behind this technique was sound but without a sparring partner the teen was without a way to test any of it. It was as he was coming up with possible solutions that he noticed the teacher staring at him. Sei didn't seem too affected by the man's stare but he knew there'd likely be some sort of punishment to come so, he stashed the book in his school bag, careful to not have it taken away for his 'poor behaviour'.
"Sei! After school! Sparring session! Otherwise i'll have you thrown into the principle's office!"
Sei could only smile at this, causing the feared taijutsu instructor to look even more enraged.
"Of course Sir."

"Mr Yuki! You're ten minutes late!"
The boy refrained from sighing, standing at moderate attention in front of the famously brutal taijutsu instructor, Aku. Sei didn't have a slither of respect for the man but at least he'd have an effective sparring partner for his training.
"Well?! What do you have to say for yourself?!"
"Let's begin."
If he was honest, Sei enjoyed Aku's furious expression, surprised the Chunin had yet to catch on to his psychological warfare. it was for that reason that he could see the punch for his chest coming. First, he'd try closed fist.
He swung his right fist with practised speed, meeting the still holding back chunin's forearm and batting it aside. Then with the man's guard down momentarily down he dashed under his opponent's guard, delivering a left uppercut he could feel was substantially strong to his chunin instructor's jaw. Before the strike could land however his fist was caught in Aku's palm. The next thing Sei knew he he face first in the ground, feeling incredibly disorientated as Aku lowered his raised leg, taking a Taijutsu stance Sei wasn't familiar with.
"Again."
There was no rage behind the usually furious instructor's voice. Instead Sei heard the cold, to the point voice of an experienced shinobi.
Without a word Sei pushed himself upright only to have another right fist barrelling towards his face. Thinking on his feet, Sei ducked to the right, only to have his opponent's left leg shoot up towards his face.
'Grab.'
The only word he could process as he caught the foot with his left hand, giving him the perfect chance for a palm strike with his right hand to Aku's knee. Speed-enhanced, the strike landed but Aku seemed barely affected, his spare leg striking the boy's gut in an impromptu drop kick and once again causing Sei to find himself on the ground.
"Gotta admit. For a student, you're good."
However this only caused Sei to shiver in fear. Fear that he quickly pushed from his thoughts as he quickly pushed himself upright once more. No doubt Aku would be tougher no- 'BLOCK!'
A cross guard was barely erected faster enough to meet an uppercut. This caused the Yuki's arms to fly up into the air uncontrollably as a fist came once more for Sei's face. Thinking on his feet he clenched his hands into fists and brought them both down onto the incoming strike, knocking Aku's arm to the ground and causing the instructor to lose his footing. In immediate retaliation Sei struck forth with a noticeably stronger punch, meeting Aku's single armed guard.
"Interesting!"
Sei Yuki had never been more scared by the word before. He would have begun to panic if he hadn't noticed that the man was likely twisting psychological warfare for his own benefit as well.
During his brief pondering Sei felt a hand tighten it's grip around his face.
'This is gonna hurt!'
The next thign he recognised was flying across the training ground, fast approaching a wall. Luckily, the throw wasn't strong enough to meet it, the boy instead rolling across the tough ground until he eventually came to a stop. He coughed as he batted aside the dust kicked up by his roll, sighing to himself as he brought himself upright.
"Right. Instructor."
"Sorry kid, no matter how much i'd want to beat the daylights outta ya i'd likely lose my job in the process."
"Yep, definitely a demon."
Aku could only laugh, dropping his guard before Sei did the same.
"You did good kid. Most students don't attempt stuff like Inner to Outer Block that isn't required for the genin exam until they've already passed it. Good on you for showing some initiative."
"Thank you sir, i couldn't have learned the technique without you as a sparring partner."
"Ah don't mention it. All i ask is that you come find me when you need a sparring partner again. That, despite our differences in power was fun."
"Fun for you, Demon. i thought i'd die."
"Ahh quit it wouldya? No go on, head on home. Someone'll talk my ear off if i keep ya too long."
Sei internally screamed 'Freedom!' before turning to leave, offering a wave as he left the academy grounds.
