Sparring practice part 2? (P, IO, NK)

Hikari would chuckle a little bit when she said that she wasn’t going to win, “Your kidding right? Those judges were eating out of your hands practicaly, save that one girl at the end.”


Jumping


A few people came up and asked Hikari if they could be her ‘+1’ all of them male. A few of them actualy seemed a little bit cute, but with all honesty, Hikari didn’t really want to have a +1. As she tried to turn them down, The chestnut-haired girl would be cut off by Shiroi, who would turn them down for her. This shocked Hikari, maybe the jounin wasn’t purely here for her displeasure after all?

Once the two were backstage, Shiroi would ask Hikari about her little stand point on the shinobi in Hoshi situation. “Do I think that all shinobi are dark magic wielding demons? Of course not! Although, seeing you fight makes me think otherwise…. (Hikari would say this part under her breath) However, that we are a drain on the countries resources? Yes, but unless you don’t eat, drink, or need a place to stay, then everyone is that. Are we needed though? Absolutely, you said it yourself, better than the destruction that was going on before that.”

As time continued, the winners would start being called up. The first two were called up, And Shiroi wasn’t one of them, So Hikari figured she had lost, after all, Shiroi did a much better job than Hikari, so she had to f won, right? That was fine, after all, Hikari figured that this way, she didn’t care to go in front of the crowd again at this point, (Although, she wouldn’t mind as much, the crowd had already seen her, so who really cares if she does it again for a little bit)

After a pause for the winner, Hikari would hear herself called, she was already turning to congratulate Shiroi, but then jumped a little bit hearing her name.
“What?” Hikari would look at Shirio, but she was already jumping and getting on her shoulders. The suden weight, (Not a lot) was almost enough to put Hikari off balance and trip, but lucky enough for herself and Shiroi, Hikari spent a lot of time in the gym punching a bag over the last few months. After a bit, Shiroi would jump off and the 16 year old would be handed a beautiful pink sash that she would put on over her shoulder. Hikari would step out onto the stage, where there were cheering, not catcalling, not wooting and catcalling, but just normal applause. This made Hikari feel a lot safer and came out, waving, giving a bow, and giving a thank you to everyone.

After a few minutes of waving, Hikari would go to the back and meet up with Shiroi, wearing the sash of victory, but would look at skeptically, “How…. What did you do? You should of won that, but you did something to make me win, didn’t you?”

"If by 'did something' you mean 'got disqualified by physically assaulting a judge' then yes, I did do something. Honestly though you were likely to win anyways, once was out of the picture. That first dude probably would have graded us the same. Second dude though? So obviously graded by bust size. No way I beat you there, Ms. Mountains." Shiroi was smiling and playfully punched Hikari's arm. "Let's go over there a bit before the fireworks start."

Shiroi picked up the sheet and walked a ways away from the stage. Most people had moved closer to the fireworks, she had gone the opposite direction. This left the girls mostly isolated, though there were a few other 'couples' relatively close by. After laying the sheet down, Shiroi herself laid down upon the sheet, staring up at the sky. It would be a few minutes before the fireworks show started.

Shiroi made a point, Hikari wasn’t awear that she got DQed because of what had happened with the woman, Although that had made sense. Although her reasoning behind the second judge made Hikari blush a little bit, but not as much as she would of earlier in the night, “Mrs. Mountains?” She would ask, “I was hoping that maybe it was more than the fact that I was kind of pretty….”

Hikari would see her teacher picking up the sheet and moving locations, however, rather than going with the crowd toward a closer location to the fireworks. The two of them instead would walk away from the crowd and go somewhere a little more private. That would be more than ok with Hikari, but she would wonder why.

After they set up, Hikari would take off her sash, and would put it on the side, laying on her back and looking up to the sky. Eventually, the fireworks would start, however, something was bothering Hikari,

“Hey, SHiroi?” Hikari would ask, “Why did you do this? This wasn’t just something you were doing because you were selfish and like seeing me suffer, if it was, you wouldn’t of been overjoyed to see me win the competition, Also, you probably would have had me marching around during the fireworks, rather than just sitting around in private and watching this, as such, why did you waste so much time with me?”

Shiroi stared at the fireworks a few minutes before answering. She shifted one leg over the other before finally answering.

"You're strong. Really strong, possibly stronger than me. But you're immature. You were way too easy to embarrass. Then look at the fight you had with me. All it took was a transformation or two and you were practically pissing your pants, too scared to think straight.

"You're a ninja. If you're afraid, you don't have the option to succumb to it. If something is scary, you have to ignore that part and keep fighting. You know what's really scary? Being alone. In the woods. Bleeding out. Not sure if you will ever find someone. Not sure if anyone will even find your body. What are your options there? You could stop. You could cry. It might make you feel better for awhile. But you just wasted time. Time you could have spent moving, fighting, trying to stay alive.

"Remember what I said earlier about being on mission? I'm special, I pretty much never wear clothes, I just grow some. So if I ever need to change, I just grow slightly different ones. But truth be told, I couldn't care less if someone saw me naked. You could take of my bikini right here and now and I'd just lay here. Eventually I'd put them back on, or wrap up in the sheet, as it is technically illegal to be naked, but that's the only reason.

"I had a crush on someone awhile ago. A long while ago, before my hospital visit. He was traveling with me and my... parents... and I won't deny, I was crushing hard. Full on, couldn't look at him, couldn't talk to him. And my 'parents' forced me to clean myself. In a lake. At the same time as him. And I felt so bad. I couldn't even get close to him. I ended up at the opposite end of the lake.

"He died later that week. Never told him how I felt. Nothing. Barely even spoke to him. Probably thought I hated him.

"Anyways, the point of the story is: fear and embarrassment are pointless. Feel them, acknowledge them, but don't let them cloud your judgement."

Hikari would sit and wait for Shiroi to answer her, however, after a minute or so, the girl hadn’t answered. Hikari would guess that maybe she was wrong and her evil mistress was just playing around with her, for her amusement. That would explain her throwing the contest and hitting the female judge (Although, that was still cool) rather than wining. After a few minutes Shiroi would then continue to talk. She would call Hikari strong, possibly stronger than her (Which Hikari would disagree with, after all, if she was, she would of won the fight earlier. Although Shiroi would then continue on with her discussion) and the only problem Namikze had was that she was a scared, little girl. Not a ninja, but a scared little girl. Shiroi would then continue to talk, telling about her own past, where she lost loved ones.

This made Hikari think back to when her parents were killed, how she just sort of passed out and was left for dead. Maybe that worked in that situation, but in a real life ninja situation, Shinobi would have made sure they finished the job. Hikari started to understand, she would be killed one of these days if she continued on this path, not only would she end up dead, but her friends would also wind up dead.

Hikiari would sit up, and smile a little bit, “Well, You did do that…. Wearing nothing infront of dozens of people I don’t know? That would be how you would force a girl to be scared stiff.” Hikari would chuckle a little bit. “But… Maybe next time we could do something a little more modest?”

Shiroi stayed laying down, watching the fireworks. She heard Hikari speak, noticed her sit up, but Shiroi would remain silent for about twenty seconds more.

"Next time, you'll be staring at someone that has every intent to end your life." She said it so casually. Then she just continued watching the fireworks.

The fireworks display was about halfway over when Shiroi stood up. "I'm headed home, and I'd like my sheet. Have a good night, Hikari." Shiroi would grab the sheet, assuming Hikari had gotten off it. Followed was a rushed folding job, and Shiroi was off. Well, there were two other things she did. Shiroi put her shirt back on and, with a sigh, released her transformation, returning to her normal height. The shirt once again fell well past her waist, giving some semblance of decency to Shiroi's outfit.

The chestnut haired girl would have shivers come down her spine as she was told the next time it would be someone trying to kill her, but this didn’t scare her as much as it might before. She had been in a lot of scary situations over the last few hours, so maybe holding her own in a situation like Shiroi described wouldn’t be as bad.

The barely clothed woman would roll off the sheet and would let her jounin commander take it back. Hikari would bite her lip as she left, swallow what ever pride she had by saying this, and bow as Shiroi left, saying “Um…. Uh… Thank you for the lesson Shiroi!” And would give her a little bow.

Hikari would then go and grab her winners sash and look in her purse for her sundress, Hikari figured that she was allowed to put it on now. However, after looking in her purse for a while, she found that it wasn’t in her purse anywhere! For a second, Hikari would think that perhaps Shiroi was just trying to play a mean trick on her. However, after a short amount of time thinking, she realized that she probably just left it in the bathroom at the Kozaki Yuki Library due to her inability to think straight due to how embarrassed she was at the time. As such, The young Genin would have to walk to the library….. alone….. at night….. wearing nothing but a bikini and a sash…..

Nope! After thinking about it for some time, Hikari figured it would be better if she just went home for the night, got dressed, and went to get it the first thing in the morning tomorrow. As such, she would get up and start to walk home.

As she left she left with a rather large crowd, (She would get a lot of weird looks as she left, but at this point, she was sort of used to it after a while.) She also had a few men offer to walk her home, but she turned them down (She didn’t want them to see where she lived now after all!) Once she got home, she would go into her room and slip into her sleepwear, before sitting down and resting on her bed. The young chestnut haired girl would close her eyes and try to sleep for the rest of the night, however, never did fall asleep, her mind was filled with the events that she had gone through, but more than that, filled with the thoughts of what Shiroi told her at the end of the night.
