Developing the Meijin Curse

Sakana Meijin was become a decently powerful shinobi in his village hidden in the clouds. Sakana has been making great progress as a gennin and he is springing really hard because in the future he wants to complete the chuunin exams. Sakana has been learning new jutsu and completing missions every day to get closer to his goal. Sakana at this point in time knows a total of eleven jutsu. Sakana was proud of everything he has learned. 

Sakana knew six E rank Jutsu. He knew genjutsu release which was a basic shinobi technique that would allow him to break out of genjutsu by realizing he was in a genjutsu and focusing on getting out. The next technique he learned was the transformation technique. The transformation allowed the ninja to transform their appearance to anything that was there size but not anything bigger than them. The substitution technique allowed a ninja to switch their place with something in the area. The next jutsu he leaned was the clone jutsu. The clone jutsu allowed him to create an transparent copy of himself to fool his enemies. Sakana also leaned the surface walking technique. This technique was pretty cool and allowed him to focus his chakra into specific point and it will allow him to stand on anything from trees to waking on water. Another E rank Sakana learned that was useful technique he learned was the basic medical ninjutsu. This allowed Sakana to heal minior  medical ninjutsu which would allow him to heal any minor wounds he has like getting cut by a kunai or even scraping his arm on a tree. Ropes were no problem for Sakana because he had leaned how to use his chakra to untie the rope. He also learned how to mimic anyone's voice that he wanted to. Through the ventriloquism technique he learned. All he needed was to have heard the voice before and he can use his chakra to alter the pitch of his voice to match someone else's. That was all the e rank jutsu Sakana knew. But he was most proud of all the water style jutsu he had learned over a short period of time as a gennin.

Sakana had learned two D rank water style techniques. He had learned hidden mist technique which allowed him to create a large Field of mist that would blind his opponents basically making him invisible in battle. Sakana also mastered this technique and it allow him pull the moisture out of the air to get the mist Instead of using a water source. The other D rank jutsu he had learned was the haze clone technique. This technique worked like the clone  jutsu but these clones were made of mist and Sakana was able to create ten of them. These clone were meant mostly to intimidate his opponents. Then Sakana had learned only one C rank water technique. Sakana had learned how to create water clones. These clones only had one tenth of Sakana's stats but this was Sakana's favorite jutsu because they were exact copies of himself and they could talk and act like people. These water clones allowed Sakana to think through ideas. And then Sakana had learned two B rank water techniques. The first one was taught to him by Komori. This technique was called the water prison jutsu. This technique used water to trap his opponents in well a water prison. It was very hard for them to break out and they needed to have high strength to break out. The final water style technique Sakana had learned took him a while to learn it was the water shark jutsu. This jutsu occurred when Sakana used his water style to create a shark made from water that had lots of power. This shark was also really fast and Sakana was able to ride in it. 

Sakana had made noted of all these things the the Leather wrapper Meijin book he had acquired a little while ago while he and his best friend Julie were on a walk through the market. The book told Sakana all about the Meijin history and jutsu. Sakana had used this book to learn most of the jutsu he had listed before and it was because of this that he was increasing in his strength, speed and stamina. Sakana used a notes section in the back to chronicle all his adventures and training sessions. 

So once Sakana Meijin had awaken on a Saturday morning he fell well rested. So decided that today would be a combination of just chilling out and training. To accomplish this he set out a plan. Sakana was going to relax by the lake once he got there and after he was done relaxing for a while he would go on the lake and practice some water style jutsu as it was the largest water source in the village Sakana knew of. The lake was one of Sakana's favorite places to go because he really felt in tune with the water. When Sakana was in the water he felt stronger, more skilled and even healthier. He knew this was because of his Meijin curse that bound him to the water. The Meijin curse was a disease contracted through your parents or a blood transfusion. The effects of the curse that was you would only ever be able to have one elemental affinity. So I'm Sakana's case he would only ever be able to learn water style moves. He was ok with that, it was a little hard at first to accept but Sakana realized in some way this curse was actually a benefit. Being in or around the water made Sakana feel stronger. As the book said all Sakana's water style jutsu get really powerful when Sakana pours more energy into his attacks. 

So now it was time to go to the lake. Sakana got out of bed but did not bother to put a shirt on because he only planned on being in the water all day. Instead Sakana really just wore his swimming shorts and went to head out the door. It was a chilly day out not really ideal for swimming but Sakana somehow did not feel affected at all by the cold. Sakana did get some weird looks because he did live in the middle of a market so as he walked by in the forty two degree weather without a shirt he naturally got called crazy buy some people. He did not really mind though because Sakana was used to not conforming to the norm. He was not  a hipster but he kinda just did his own thing  and sometimes it seemed normal to other and sometimes it seemed completely bizarre and alien to his friends. As the boy was walking along the stone path he got excited for this day as he had not had time to relax for a while because of his intense training. 

While he was on the way there Sakana thought about how he should start going for his chuunin exams soon. Sakana had only been a geenin for a little while but he thought he was ready to at least start his chuunin exams. 

Once Sakana had arrived at the lake he had noticed that it looked the same as the last time he left it. He realized that Komori had probably been really busy recently and These days Sakana pretty much had the whole lake to himself. That was pretty cool. 

Sakana spent the first few hours of his day just relaxing in the water. He played games with his shadow clones they usually like to race. This usually because boring for the real Sakana because he is way way faster then the water clones and he always laps them when they race. They also challenge each other to try and catch fish and things like that. Sakana can hold his breath for a really really long time so he didn't worry much about drowning. Once they were done messing around Sakana would infuse the chakra to his back so he could kinda just float on the water.

After Sakana was content with just coasting on the water for a few hours he figured he needed to actually start training again.

So Sakana got up, removing the chakra from his back and placing it  into his feet so he could stand on the water. Sakana was going to practice all his water style jutsu while one the water. Sakana was going to practice all his water style jutsu because those were his favorite to practice.

The first technique he always liked to use right off the bat was hidden mist jutsu. He always felt better after he could feel the mist on his skin. So Sakana kind of loosened out his body and got into a standing stance and he went to do the tiger seal. Once he did the tiger seal mist started to pull from the water and fill the lake. He loved the sight of the mist spreading, basically engulfing the lake. Once that was done he did what he always does. Sakana went to summon his water clones, he has not put them to work in a while so this would be a good way for them to start training again. Once again he needed to use the tiger seal to get them to appear. So Sakana did the tiger seal and two water clones appeared. Sakana explained what they were doing and that they had some jutsu to go over while they were practicing. 

So Sakana had two techniques left to complete while he was here. Sakana knew he had to practice the technique the clones hated. He needed to tone his water prison jutsu. The clones hated this because they lost oxygen every time they were stuck in there but they both got ready. One was ready to be sealed and the other one was ready to place his arm in the water prison to keep it in place. Sakana went to do the hand signs Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare → Snake → Ox → Clap Hands. Once he completed them the clone on the right became trapped in the water prison. The water clone on the left quickly threw his arm in the prison so it would hold. Sakana waited a few moments to make sure the prison would hold. Once he was sure he released it and dispersed the clones because they needed a break. 

Now Sakana had only one jutsu he needed to practice. He needed to practice the water shark bullet technique. Sakana knew that this technique was one of his most powerful. He preformed the many hand signs that went with this jutsu Tiger → Ox → Dragon → Hare → Dog → Bird → Rat → Clone seal → Dragon → Ram once he did that the shark appeared  in front  of him and began too swim around. Sakana let the shark swim a few laps around the the lake in preparation. Once it was done Sakana had made it do what he's made it done so many times now. He made it run into a tree and the tree did as it always did and shattered. There was a lot less tress Around this lake once Sakana got there. Now once Sakana called back the shark to him he jumped in side of the shark and started to ride around. This was always fun because he felt the water rush around his body. Well he was incased in water but this feeling was different, Sakana felt as if the water just flowed through him and it was amazing. After he got bored he got out of the water.

When Sakana got out of the water he looked at his reflection, his hair had seemed to somehow turn more blue but what stood out more was his eyes, his eyes seemed to swirl like water. It was barely noticeable but it was there. Sakana then went home.
