Asking for permission to leave Kiri Empty Asking for permission to leave Kiri

Sat Feb 25, 2017 5:21 pm
Hikaru stood outside the Kage building nervously. He wanted to request passage out of Kiri but he didn't know how. He felt like his limit was being restrained in Kirigakure, he was not reaching his full potential. Hikaru, having no self-preservation, decided to go ask the Mizukage directly, something most people in Kirigakure would certainly not do. Breathing deeply Hikaru opened the doors and stepped inside the building. Once he was in the building he walked up to the receptionist and opened his mouth to begin speaking.

"I would like to see the Mizukage." Hikaru drawled. The receptionist only smiled and pointed to a group of empty chairs positioned against the wall. He nodded towards the receptionist before making his way to the chairs and sitting down, waiting calmly for the Mizukage to arrive.

Asking for permission to leave Kiri Empty Re: Asking for permission to leave Kiri

Of course, the receptionist couldn't help but lift a hand towards her mouth to hide her sneer, replacing a faint chuckle with a croak of a cough. The information was relayed to the Mizukage, who, of course, was curious as to why his day would be interrupted by someone without an appointment. However, ever the optimist that this wasn't a waste of his time, he'd nod his head towards one of the ANBU to signal for the male to come up. The ANBU, who was known as Jester, went down to the bottom floor to collect the boy. Once he exited the elevator with a single step, he'd point towards the boy and usher for him to follow, stepping backwards into the elevator, taking it back to the top floor once Hikaru was in.

Granted Hikaru was following the silent ANBU, Jester would walk down the corridor once the elevator opened up on the top floor, gesturing for Hikaru to enter the office of the Mizukage before stepping in after him, closing the door. On the other side of Hikaru once he entered would stand Wraith, just as silent as his peer.

"What can I help you with?" Came the voice from the stone throne, who was obviously Xyxer. The attention of his hounds currently captivated by the child that was in their office, with the dogs pulling against the chains around their necks, slightly straining the wall they were attached to.

Asking for permission to leave Kiri Empty Re: Asking for permission to leave Kiri

Sat Feb 25, 2017 5:50 pm
Hikaru lifted his head to see an ANBU step out an elevator and gesture for him to follow. Hikaru stood up and walked in the elevator calmly, his lack of self-preservation always helped him stay calm in potentially life-threatening situations.

As the elevator began to ride upwards Hikaru thought about all the stories about the Mizukage he had heard. It was quite scary thinking about them. The Mizukage was undoubtedly the scariest man in all of the elemental nations.

Eventually the elevator stopped and he was gestured outside by the ANBU. He followed the ANBU down the corridor and he noted how silently the ANBU was moving. so this is the skill of the Kiri ANBU thought Hikaru. Suddenly the ANBU stopped and pointed towards a wooden door, gesturing him inside. Hikaru gulped and stepped inside.

As he stepped inside he almost choked on the bloodthirsty aura emitting from the dogs chained to the wall on the other side of the door.

"What can I help you with?" a voice sounded from the figure shrouded in darkness.

Hikaru stepped forward unsure of what to say, the Mizukage didn't look like much, but looks can be deceiving. If the Mizukage was as powerful as the stories say, he should definitely be shaking uncontrollably right now, but because he held no value in his life, he stood their calmly, staring at the Mizukage defiantly, showing him he was not scared.

"I have come to request access beyond the storm circle that surrounds the village," Hikaru Began "As I do not know how to cross it I request someone to aid me in journeying across it. I wish to wander the elemental nations, but still be part of the village, aiding it when it is in need. I feel like I am constrained in this village, being shackled like your hounds over there." He pointed to the snarling dogs. "So Lord Kage, please grant me someone to take me across the storm circle," He kneeled down in front of the Mizukage and waited in anticipation for his reply.

Asking for permission to leave Kiri Empty Re: Asking for permission to leave Kiri

Sat Feb 25, 2017 6:01 pm
The left hand of the Mizukage lifted up once the boy made a comment regarding the leash that kept his dogs tethered. Scratching the flesh lightly to relieve himself of an itch, he stood up from the stone that granted him little comfort, and made his way instead towards the wall that kept his dogs chained. The absence of fear from the boy meant nothing to Xyxer, that was a common feature in his shinobi now. Inability to sense when they were in imminent danger.. it made them better soldiers.

"Surely, if you wish to leave the village, then we should see how the hounds, since you brought up their incarceration to be similar to yours, should be released from their chains?" Xyxer crouched a little as he spoke, the dogs now pulling against the chains more with the prospect of their owner releasing them from their spot. Was it time for walkies? They had no idea, but just like any other dog, they were ecstatic about the idea.

Asking for permission to leave Kiri Empty Re: Asking for permission to leave Kiri

Sat Feb 25, 2017 6:19 pm
Hikaru watched the Mizukage leave the throne and walk towards the snarling, drawling dogs. At that moment Hikaru wished that he had got at least one competent summon creature. All he had was the contract holder, and he was severely lacking in strength department.

Hikaru listened to the Mizukage's proposition of releasing the hounds with a cocked eyebrow. They were dogs, would they really be that much of a challenge to him? Then again, the Mizukage would probably not be pleased if he killed the dogs, and Hikaru would probably die if he didn't fight the dogs at his full potential. He had been pushed into a corner, and he didn't like it. The only thing he could do was incapacitate them without injuring them severely.

"If you want yours dogs to die, then go ahead." He bluffed, he knew it was dangerous, bragging to the Mizukage, yet he did it anyway. Whether it was stupidity, bravery or lack of any emotion, Hikaru did not know, nor did he care.

It was interesting that the boy remained so brazen in the face of death, yet he had made no approach towards the Mizukage himself. Perhaps he truly thought he could handle the doggos, maybe he could, who would know. We would in a few minutes time, of course. As Xyxer released the lock that bound the chains to the wall, the dogs would become free, sprinting from their place of rest towards the boy in the confined space. Covering the five meter difference rapidly, they wouldn't step one meter towards closer towards the boy as the pack mentality started to kick in. These were the pets of Xyxer, they were ferocious, but they had learned how to hunt larger prey. Surround and pound, pretty solid technique, and so that's what they did. The three dogs would start to pace around the male, leaving a 1 meter radius between them and himself as they awaited an opportunity to present itself, all the while the ANBU and the Mizukage watched the events unfold.

Asking for permission to leave Kiri Empty Re: Asking for permission to leave Kiri

Sun Feb 26, 2017 8:00 am
Watching the dogs surround him made Hikaru unnerved him slightly. Maybe he was in over his head? Nonsense, they were only mutts, how hard could they be to defeat? Then again, if they were trained by the Mizukage they were guaranteed to have some kind of strength. One thing you couldn't train a dog to do was to plan and execute a strategy. Sure, they had basic strategy's like the one he was faced with now, but it was nowhere close to the level a human could come up with.

So, Hikaru came up with a plan in the space of a second, their were definitely holes in it, but given the situation he was in, it was enough. Quickly, at a speed of 47, he lifted his hands up into the seals for Clone Jutsu, Ram-Boar-Tiger, and two replicas of him appeared in a puff of smoke. Using the smoke to conceal his movements he jumped up onto the roof and used his Surface walking technique to stay up there.

Once he was on the roof, with his clones still concealed in the smoke, he used the Transformation Technique to transform himself and the clones into dogs, to confuse the dogs. After all, dogs weren't clever enough to tell the difference between a clone and a human, nor if a human was transformed. After he had completed the setup off his strategy all he had to do was wait and hope the dogs did what he wanted.

Wc: 248
AP remaining: 150-5(Clone Technique)-1(Surface Walking Technique)-5 (Transformation technique)= 139 remaining AP

Asking for permission to leave Kiri Empty Re: Asking for permission to leave Kiri

Sun Feb 26, 2017 8:58 am
What Hikaru was attempting to do was interesting none the least, but a fatal flaw in his planning, of course, was that the dogs wouldn't simply wait around as he attempted these jutsu. These feral hounds were brought up surrounded by shinobi, and although they may not know what the hand seals themselves meant, they knew that it was an indication of something to come, something they wouldn't stand around for to make their prey more difficult to consume. When the boy's hands rose up towards himself, the dogs instantaneously commenced their coordinated assault on his form, snarling all the way. As Hikaru's hands rose from his sides, the dogs, who had been noted to only be 1 meter away, started their sudden dash that was to implode on the boy from a triangular formation around him.

By the time Hikaru's hands were halfway towards touching one another, the dogs had covered 1.5 feet, their powerful, toned bodies continuing to build up towards the final crescendo for one of the sides. The boy's hands at this point were touching, performing the first 'Ram' seal, and of course, given the nature of the enclosed environment and the muscular legs of the hounds, they had covered yet another 1.5 feet. The dogs at this point would be within biting distance of Hikaru and it all depended on the fortitude of the child as to whether he'd continue to get the other two hand seals off. One dog, at the north-west from the boy's perspective, would thrust it's snarling maw forward towards the leg of the boy, aiming to lock it's jaws around his tender meat. Another dog, at the north-east of the boy, pushed up once it neared him in an attempt to lock it's jaws around the pointed elbow of the child that hadn't been raised due to him being so intent on getting these handseals off. Of course, the final dog, that was directly behind the boy, had finished the half meter towards Hikaru off by leaping towards him with it's jaws pried, ready to ferociously bite onto the nape of Hiakru in a disabling, brutal move, which would serve to also push the boy forward, away from the roof, and under Youka, should he continue in that pursuit.

Of course, if Hikaru had decided at any point this would be too much of him and apologised to the Mizukage, mercy may be shown. The Mizukage was a kind, noble fellow, who did not enjoy to see those in pain suffer.

[From the way it's setup at the moment, clone technique is about to go off, transformation hasn't been done yet, and you haven't performed the jump yet, so you can refund the AP costs if you want or avoid these attacks and go through with them, if you can]

Asking for permission to leave Kiri Empty Re: Asking for permission to leave Kiri

Sun Feb 26, 2017 9:38 am
As the dogs bared their sharp canine teeth, ready to crush his bones with the strength of their jaws, he realised this was probably a mistake. While he was stronger than the dogs on their own, he couldn't handle all three of them at the same time.

Bending his feet and pushing off using only his toes he jumped (Yes, you can do this i just tried in rl) 1/2 a meter into the air at a speed of 16 ((Speed+Strength)/4). The dogs aiming for his legs would miss but the dog behind him would still be heading towards his back. Assuming nothing stopped him he would use the momentum of his jump to spin around and use his right leg to spin around and kick the dog heading towards his back with its teeth bared. As he would do this he would land on the floor and stare at the Mizukage before starting to speak.

"Lord Mizukage, i give up." He began "I must congratulate you on training these dogs well, if they were on their own i could have beaten them but their teamwork is impeccable, it must have been quite a challenge to train them to that degree." He continued "When i grow stronger i wish to come here again, my request still stands to leave the village, so please think about it." After he said this he bowed down and started to speak again "If i may, please can i ask a question Lord Mizukage?" Still bowing he waited in anticipation for the Mizukage's answer.

(wc:246)
(Had to edit the speed of the jump and how i jumped :P)

Asking for permission to leave Kiri Empty Re: Asking for permission to leave Kiri

Sun Feb 26, 2017 4:45 pm
As Hikaru had stated in his post, the dogs were ready to crush his bones, which implies they're already within biting distance of him when he's getting ready to finish the rest of his action sequence. Now, with him bending his feet, the exact same would occur as before, but the dogs obviously ready for a change like this one. When the boy started his little jump, the momentum of the dogs allowed them to simply push off from their forelegs in order to gain a greater leap than the male due to them already being in full motion, attaining a speed of 33 while traversing the air towards him. Of course, they didn't need to reach too high on him, that wasn't the goal, this was the plan for them from the start. The dog on the north west would lock it's jaw around the ankle of the male as he tried to feebly jump from the attack, biting harshly down onto the flesh while weighing him down. The dog on the north east would most likely bite onto the elbow of the male due to it travelling faster than him in the air, yanking it towards the side with it's trajectory, and of course, the dog at the back would have no problem in continuing with it's initial plan to bite into the nape of the boy, it's teeth tearing through the supple flesh of the child, likely disabling him almost instantly due to the raw difference in strength and health between the two.

Overall, it was quite a strange day in the office.
