Permission to Gather

Hanabi had pretty much exhausted the materials she could obtain in the fire country, and as the most ambitious crafter and augmenter in the village, that she was aware of, she wanted the opportunity to go out and gather materials in far off lands. To do this she decided to go ask the hokage himself for permission to leave because she didn't want to be one of those chumps who went around getting killed trying to leave.

"'I'm here to see the Hokage," she said to the assistant, or whoever was there waiting. She was pointed to the quarters so she went over and knocked on the door.

"Master Hokage, I wish to have a word with you, if you have the time!" she called out.

Yen was enjoying a sandwich and finishing the last bites of his sandwich when a girl had knocked on the door. Requesting entrance. The gold and black robed aburame took a napkin and cleaned his hands throughrly as he spoke up

" enter"

He would kindly say as he gazed at the girl entering the room. Yen folded his hands on the desk. And gazed at the girl with his single eye with curiosity as he was curious about this one.


"Name and rank young lady?"

Hanabi pushed the door open and let it close behind her. She stood at attention and said, "Hanabi Hyuuga and I'm a Genin."

She didn't know what else to say. She guessed that the all powerful hokage would have more questions and that he had heard what she'd said. If not, she was happy to repeat herself. She did smell the remains of a sandwich though. Had she been waiting all this time for him to finish up his lunch? Questions that she wouldn't be asking.

Hanabi hyuuga? Yen then noted a large pile of completed missions piled up on his desk in a folder. Having glossed over the name a few times during the recent weeks. He noted her name.

"Take a seat young lady. You have completed many missions in the name of konoha,and i am proud to know that you have done so well. Thank you."

Yen bowed his head to the girl with a small smile of kindness.

"So hanabi how can i assist you today? And what is your desire?"

Yen asked as he leaned back in the kage seat observing the girl with interest. She has done many missions which showed her ability to stay on the line,but to yen perhaps she wanted much more then that. An impact he hoped.

Yen leaned forward as the girl's gaze met that of the one eyed aburame. Her polite nature was sweet,but as he heard the girl's request yen looked a little concern. Her request was not essy one to accept. If it wasn't for her mission contributions. Paying for the village,along with other shinobi and their work. Any less would've been an automatic no.

Yen leaned back and placed his finger tips together and smiled softly. He then spoke up.

"Hanabi integrity for the village is everything when you proceed to travels the lands. Many dangers exist both seen,and unseen. That in itself is why abroad traveling is reserved to the higher ranks."

Yen stated softly and gazing at the girl.

"However, you have exceeded many of your peers. But in that this concerns me. Your safety outside of the village will never be certain. Now you will need to always keep contact, and the truth. You represent konoha and hold our headband. You understand its value. But i will allow it. If you report on each mission. I'm expecting reports each othervweek. And funds gainedvyou can grant the village 15%. "
