An Eventful Day

Han wakes up with a smile from his previous deeds. He gets up from his bed and rushes to take a shower. He quickly changes into his everyday clothing, readying himself for the day. As always, he keeps his mothers charm around his neck and close to his heart. He packs his Jutsu Encyclopedia inside his back pocket and runs down the stairs. He says goodbye to his father and runs to school. He looks around focusing on his surroundings for the first time in a long time. He sees all the people in the village, the merchants working in their shops, the mothers walking with their children, the children smiling without a care in the world. He smiles as he sees these people. Han starts slowing down and decides to take a long stroll towards the Ninja Academy. He starts taking in the sights of the village. He looks at the trees gently flowing through the breeze. He sees the birds flying high in Konoha skies. He sees the fish in the rushing water of the stream. He looks around and sees all the people enjoying their day in peace. Most days are like this now. Peaceful and full of happiness. He smiles as he takes in the beauty of this scene. He looks at all the other kids playing with their mothers and he can't help but look at his charm. He stares at it as he remembers the time his mother was alive. He used to play with her everyday. They would play hide and seek all throughout the village, chasing each other around everywhere. It may seem silly but Han is very fond of those memories. He looks to the Hokage Heads and sees the great lineage of the greatest ninja in the village. "The village grows everyday, and the Will of Fire burns ever stronger, and its light ever brighter with every passing day. You guys really did well. From the first Hokage until the present one, you fostered the flame inside all of us and turned our sparks into bright flames. Thank you. Thank you for all the things we see in front of us. Thank you for the people you have saved. And most of all, thank you for the wonderful home for all of us." He says with an honest smile and a spark of inspiration in his eyes. He gets up and continues his stroll to the Ninja Academy. When he reaches the outside of the Academy, he looks at all the ninja training. He sees the determination in their eyes and feels the pride pour into him as his determination gets renewed and his will burns brighter. He starts to run to his class and takes his seat.


His Sensei walks into the room and closses the door. "Today class, I will be choosing some of you for special advanced classes. These classes will speed up your time here in the Academy and allow you to take th Gennin Exam in little to no time at all. I will tap the students who are chosen for this exam. All the chosen individuals please line up outside the door." He says with a smile. He walks over to Han and taps his shoulder with a bright smile. "Congrats. And to think you were only an applicant about a week ago. You're a real talent, I'm rooting for you. The Will of Fire burns brightly in you." He says with pride and joy in his voice. He starts tapping other students of about the same level of skill as Han. The door opens as the chosen students walk out with pride for their hard work and efforts have paid off. 


Han steps out and lines up behind another student. "Guess we made it huh." He says casually. "Yeah. I guess we did." The student says still bewildered he got chosen. "I honestly thought I was average, I never thought I could make it this far. Oh, my name is Ryu by the way." He says realizing he neveer introduced himeself. He extends his hand in a gesture of friendship. "Might as well meet someone new while I'm here." He says smiling. Han, realizing he never introduced himself, takes the hand of Ryu and smiles back at him. "I'm Han, nice to meet you. So, what do you think is going to happen in this class?" Han asks curiously. "I have no idea. I guess we'll be learning the Clone Technique and the Transformation Technique. I don't know. I think we should be ready for anything." He says while stretching. Ryu is about 5'6 and around the same build as Han. He  has brown eyes and long black hair tied in a ponytail on the back side of his head. 


The Sensei walks up to the advanced class and starts to talk to them. "Congratulations everyone. You have done incredibly well in multiple fields of jutsu, well above the requirements of the Gennin rank. I will be teaching you how to use the Clone jutsu and the Transformation jutsu. After I teach this lesson, it is up to you guys to apply it in training. Oh, and by the way, the person next to you will be your partner for this class. We'll bee starting in about ten minutes, be ready by then." He says with a serious tone in his voice. "Try to get to know your partner better, they might becooome greatt friends." He says with a smile.


Han walks over to the bench nearby and sits down.  He calls Ryu over and starts telling him about his training so far. He spares no dettail as he talks about all the sore aches and pains and the trauma of his first Genjutsu. Ryu starts telliing him the same. Ryu was just a regular kid, with a regular family. He didn't want to be a ninja but a chef, with his inspiration being Ichiraku Ramen. He took these classes to learn how to defend himself and he plans to leave the classes soon. He would miss all the friends he had made but he knows that a life spent not following a dream, is not a life worth living. However, he states that combat and spaarrinng excites him and he would love to do it again regularly. "I'd love to spar with you sometime Ryu. Let's get stronger together."  He says with a great big smile.


"Alright. Is everyone ready? Let's start the lessons. First will be the Clone Technique. You have to spread your chakra evenly all over your body. Be sure to keep it exactly equal. If all the chakra in your body is evenly split, your clone will be perfect. The more chakra you exert, the more clones you will make. Now, the Clone jutsu is a technique that creates an exact, or supposedly an exact replica of the users body. The clone is just an illusion that doesn't have a real physical presence or form. The main application is confusion, ninjas are supposed to make a clone to coonfuse or daze opponents, whether using this in defense or offense. For defense, using this jutsu can make your opponent strike an illusion rather than your true body. In offense, you can strike from multiple points at once, causing your opponent to block the wrong attack instead of the real you. The more clones, the harder to control them, however, the more clones, the easier to trick the opponent with an illusion. Some jutsu are very similar to this. One example would be the Shadow Clone jutsu. This jutsu creates a physical replica of your body that has all your attributes. The shadow clone can move and react on its own but its mind is linked with yours. When too much damage is sustained, the clone'ss form cannot be stabilized as the body gets destroyed and disappears or vanishes. All the memories and feelings the other clone experienced gets transferred to the other clones and the real body. This jutsu has other equuivalents such as the Water Clone Jutsu. Now, pair up with your partner and good luck." Sensei says with a smile. "I'll be leaving and going back to the other students. I'll come back when it's time to learn the next technique. Good luck guys. Bye." 


Han walks up to Ryu and talkss to him. "Let's try this out man. I think I can do it." He starts to spread his chakra all throughout his body as he expels it performing the technique. "Yes! I got it." Ryu snickers. "Not quite. Your eyes are off, one arm is longer than the other, and your hands are backwards. Let me give it a shot." He says smugly. As he performs the jusu, expelling his chakra all at once, he creates a perfect looking replica of his body. "Ha! See I did it on my first try!" Ryu says with pride. Han bursts out in laughter as he walks to the side of Ryu's clone. The replica that Ryu made was an exact copy of his looks but the clone was only two dimensional, or flat. The copy could not move or react and it was basically a drawing of Ryu's body. "My turn." He focuses and tries to create another clone, this time ending with a flawed but better looking clone. Over the next hour, their clones took better and better shape until eventually becoming perfect in apppearance and size. Han and Ryu's competetiveness drovee them to mastering this technique faster than usual. They start making competitions on who can make the best functional clone and who can make the most functional clones. Han created a better clone overall, which could move as fluidly as his real body could. Ryu, however, made the most functional clones at a dozen clones at once. Han only managed to make ten functioning clones. The rivals look at each other and laugh as they sit down, tired and sweating from all the effort they took into mastering this technique. Han and Ryu sit down and start discussing more as they seem to make a strong bond with each other. Maybe even becoming rivals, at least until Ryu has to leave. 


Sensei walks back in the classroom almost an hour later. "Ah. I see everyone has mastered the technique. Very good. You guys are really the top of your game. You are the brightest of the bunch, after all. Alrighht, now I'm going to teach all of you the Transformation Technique. This technique is deceiving as it looks so simple and easy to perform but it's surprisingly difficult. One of the higher difficulty techniques. This won't be easy but I am expecting all of you to learn it today and master it by tomorrow. You are in the advanced class so you are expected to be talented and effecient with every field of jutsu which includes Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Medical Ninjutsu, and Weaponry. Other fields of jutsu are optional and/or are not of your capabilities yet. I'm expecting a lot from you guys. You will inherit the Will of Fire, the lights of the new generation. So, now to explain the jutsu. The user focuses his chakra all throughout their body and then reform the chakra into the form of the target image. The user then needs to keep the mental image of the target image while constantly emitting chakra into the appropriate form to keep the transformation going. You may have a hard time but remember to always keep calm and focus, all will become clear in the end." He says as he leaves the classroom once again.

Han and Ryu decide to transform into each other. They both have flaws and quirks in their first try but over the next few times it gets easier. Han and Ryu decided to make a competition out of this technique. They decide to see who can hold a perfect transformation for as long as they possibly can.Han manages to hold the transformation for about a minute before reverting back and he sits down and waits for Ryu's turn. Ryu holds his transformation for about thirty seconds longer than Han so he won the contest that they had made. They keep trying, eventually besting each others records over and over again. In an hour, the score is equal at five minutes for Ryu and five minutes for Han. Han starts performing the jutsu so much that his mental focus and awareness sharpens and focuses as he starts to instantly transform into a perfect image of everyone in the class. He starts replicating their voices as well, and eventually learning their body languages. Howeverr, Ryu is not far behind so he catches up to Han fairly quickly and they go head to head, matching in almost everything. By the time Sensei returns, he can barely tell the difference between the two of them. They had both turned into each other and managed to mimic each other almost exactly. Sensei had a hard time checking who everyone was in the class as they kept transforming into one another. Han and Ryu have mastered this technique and managed to do it incredibly quickly and easily, even compared to the other students in this class. They pushed each other to do their best no matter what.

"That's all you have to know. Congratulations everyone. You are all qualified to take the Gennin exam. Get any Chuunin to approve of your application and supervise your exam and you will pass." Sensei says with a smile of approval. "Well, class dismissed. Feel free to leave, in my eyes, you're all officially Gennin. Congratulations everyone!" He says as he leaves the classroom once more. Han and Ryu talk more and learn about each other's lives as they walk home. They pass by the Training Grounds and Han's eyes spark with an idea. "Ryu, let's spar. One last time before you start your cooking career." Ryu agrees with an excited look on his face as they are about to face off. 

Han starts with a Clone jutsu, creating three clones of himself. He starts to run around Ryu and switching places with each body. As they all close in on Ryu, they realize that he used the Substitution Technique. As the real Ryu attacks Han, he accidentally hits the clone, which gave Han enough time to charge his chakra. He uses the Wind Release: Wind Arrow  and creates a thin, long, and sharp arrow made of pressurized wind. As Han is about to launch it towards Ryu, Ryu uses the Fish Spit technique, temporarily blinding Han. Han launches the arrow at the air as it explodes with incredible force. Han starts to go on the defensive as Ryu starts ruthlessly attacking. Han blocks most of the blows, receiving a few bruises in the process, then switches into the Inside to Outside Block and manages to catch Ryu's attack. Han pulls Ryu in and knees him in the stomach, knocking the wind out of his lungs. Han throws him aside as he rushes in for the combo. Ryu then stands up and uses the Earth Release: Rock Section Cane. He picks up the long staff of rock and rushes towards Han, ready to strike. Han uses the Wind Release: Wind Arrow and pushes it towards Ryu. Ryu blocks with the cane, resulting in the cane itself being pierced. Since the cane was pierced, the arrow of pressurized wind seemingly implodes or depressurizes and the can is destroyed. They start pushing each other back and forth over time. They push each other and bruise each other, but they are almost evenly matched. Ryu manages to push Han into a tree and before he can strike, Han runs up the side of the tree. "Hey, get down here! I don't know how to do that." Ryu says angrily. "Haha! You can't walk up trees!?! Try to get me down, I dare you!" Han says confidently. "You'll regret saying that." Ryu says as he charges up his chakra. He uses a one handed hand sign which was the Tiger haand signn or a half tiger hand sign. He puts it up to his mouth and takes a deep breathe. Han instantly prepares a substitution jutsu as he can see what's coming. Ryu uses the Fire Release: Fire Stream. The tree burns and the fight stops. The two yyoung ninja panic and run to the stream nearby. Each of them run to the tree with water and slowly put it out. Both kids sigh as they look at each other. They start to smile and laugh it off. "You really made a mess there, Ryu. You're lucky the fire didn't spread." Han says with a smile. "Hey, if you hadn't run up that tree, I would never use that jutsu." Ryu says defensively. They chuckle again and talk some more. Han starts using his medical ninjutsu to heal them both and seal their wounds completely. Ryu is astounded by it and Han teaches it to him. They spend the rest of the day, lying down on the grass of the training grounds talking. They really bonded that day, and Han will never forget him, his first real friend. Han brings Ryu home and says goodnight and good bye as he leaves his friend. He slowly walks home satisfied with everything he did that day. He makes it home safely as he talks to his father. He talks about his school and his training and especially about his new friend that he would like to visit more often. He showed off his jutsus to his dad and his dad was brimming with pride and joy at the sight that his son is going to be a ninja like he was and his wife was. He finishes talking and walks up the stairs and into his room. Then he gets ready for bed in the bathroom and finally back into his room for a long night of rest after a long day of hard work and friendship.
