A letter to the Hokage

Hokage,

You probably do not remember be but we met long ago at the gates of Sunagakure. I am sending this letter in hopes that you will allow Salzem Alagahara join me on a mission to find my missing family. I hope you will allow him to come as Salzem is an important person in my life and I will need his support when I find them... If I find them. We will also not be alone but accompanied by ninja appointed to this mission by the Kazekage himself. Please, get back to me on your decision.

The girl looked over her letter and realized she wasn't really good at this whole formal writing thing... or expressing her feeling on paper. Hopefully the message would be conveyed though. She quickly folded the paper and handed it off the the messenger bird as it went to find the Hokage, wherever he was.

"Dear Kira,

I vaguely remember as I do enjoy drinking from time to time. As for the request, I am fully okay with the situation and I do not see a problem with it at all. Remember to be safe and I hope you are able to find your family. Konoha is always there for Suna so if you need more assistance in the future feel free to ask.

Kurisu wrote the letter in response to the request, having not been fully honest about the drinking but that wasn't important. What was important was the family, he knew the feeling all too well and truly hoped for the best given the familiar situation.
