Burning Down Your Gates

This thread takes place after this.

As Ryu gave his information and yelled to the skies with no response he would wait around. He felt no chakra signatures in the area. He would wait and wait, but still no one would come. Kumo, takes over Suna and these guys are just chill and not watching their gates. I’ll get their attention.
Making some hand seals the ninja would blow a steady stream of fire onto the wooden gates causing them to light. Power of fire is 90, speed 90. He would make sure there was no one on the gates before doing this through chakra sensory to ensure no one would get hurt in the process.

If any ninja came by he would hold his hands up. “I don’t want to fight, but I hope this serves as a lesson if I wanted to hurt anyone here I could have. I need to talk to your kage, I’m from Suna.”


(This is not really an attack thread, as that is the extent of my attack.)

Salzem was just coming back from from cleaning up some mess outside the village, a mission that needed completion. It was when the gates were in sight did he notice that they were now aflame, a ninja standing there before them quite proud of his handiwork... Were it not for the lycan being able to pick up his scent, he would have killed this twit right there... ripped him asunder without a second thought.

"RYU!" Salzem roared from behind the suna ninja, though his voice was anything but happy. His face was contorted in anger, his fists clenched his restraint, his eyes burning with rage, but also warped with confusion. "You're lucky I don't KILL you for that, you idiot!" Attacking a village, no matter what your purposes, was punishable by death. Easy. No judge or jury, just execution. This probably demonstrated how soft he was at heart, not willing to swiftly end someone's life even though the situation called for it.

If he still obliged to do so, Ryou would turn around and hold his hands up as if that would save him at this point, stating that he didn't want to fight (ironic given his actions), that he hoped this served as a lesson and that if he wanted to hurt someone he could have. Ryu's continued justifications for these actions only served to make Salzem want to bash his brains out more and more, his sharpened teeth in pain by how hard he was clenching them.

"And that's how you justify THAT!?" Salzem growled, grabbing the throat of the kid's shirt in outrage. "You damaged one of our only defenses and for what, to get Konoha's attention...?" He would explain (if he was so inclined) that he wanted to talk to the kage and at this, Salzem's glare grew cold, though his snarl remained.

"Why would the Hokage even talk to you now, let alone allow you live after this attack, Ryou? Are you insane!?"

As Ryu sensed Sal’s chakra approach the gates he would turn around. He could even smell the ninja coming even hear him, he sounded mad. “Well I didn’t want to enter without permission, so I sent you guys a really big smoke signal. Why isn’t there anyone watching your gates though?”

If Salzem was still angry he would then try to talk more to him. “I’m here to ask your leader some questions about why he let my village fall, my village was taken over. But your mad about a gate. Oh, I’ve also got some information for him and I wanted to talk to you too.”

If Salzem walked over the jounin wouldn’t move. He’s definitely gonna punch me. It better not be the face or I’m gonna be swoll. 

After hearing out Ryou's seeming attempt at humor, Salzem merely grabbed the kid by the shoulder and shoved him in the direction of the gate that was burning. It wasn't Ryu's fault that he was oblivious to everything that was going on on Kono's end. It wasn't his fault that he didn't have all the information. What was his fault was that he just attacked Konoha and risked lives... for what...? Because the ninja weren't moving fast enough for him? What an idiot.

"You're going to a cell until the Hokage decides what to do with you." Was all Salzem would tell him, not expressing any interest in his comments about how he wanted to talk to him specifically. What Ryu wanted at this point meant nothing. Not a single damn thing. It wasn't like he didn't deserve sympathy because he did, but Salzem wasn't obliged to show it after what he did... AND MAKING LIGHT OF IT AS WELL.

"Don't fight me Ryu. if we're friends, you won't fight me on this. Comply and you might get out of this okay. You may even get what you want."

With that, the lycan would forcefully shove Ryu a few more steps ahead, leading him in the direction of the prison. Dammit Ryu... why are you doing this...

Not as bad as I thought. Ryu would say stumbling a bit forward as he was shoved. “Cool, I’ve never been behind bars.” He would say walking toward where Sal was pushing him. “Might get out of this, bro I’m trying to wake you people up. There’s a lot more coming to this village, I’m just trying to help you see it.” Wonder if their kage is gonna be too stupid to see that.



“Well lead the way I’m not going anywhere besides that cell.” If he didn’t need to be shoved he’d rather not be. So, if he could walk like a normal guy that’d be nice.

(Exit, maybe.)

Salzem said nothing and merely escorted Ryu to his cell. He would then inform the Hokage of the current situation, leaving his friend's fate in her hands.

(EXIT, Ryu is now in Kono's prison.)
