Justu Being Learnt

(Sorry for spamming threads :P)

Well, it was time for moreee training! Akemi internally groaned at the thought. He really didn't feel like he needed to do much more, but with the amount of time that the exams had been delayed by, it was pretty much a crime to not do something. So, here Akemi was, back in his usual place - The Tachibana Wildlife Reserve - stretching all his limbs before he started doing any strenuous exercise. Touching his toes, raising his arms up as high as they could go. It was all made up to be quite a satisfying stretching sesh, perhaps he should do it more? With each stretch, he felt himself becoming more and more flexible. As if his joints were all locked up, and now they were beginning to act and behave like butter. He lifted up his foot and pushed it towards his face, the stretch proving to be taxing on his system, as he suddenly felt something in his lower thigh go "Click" forcing him to put his foot down before any permanent damage was issued to his being.

After all the stretching, Akemi started performing some basic taijutsu kata. Punch, punch, heel drop, kick. All performed within quick succession of each other, each move leaving an opening for the next, ever flowing, never faltering. He didn't allow his body to get tired, that was pointless. After about 10 minutes of continuous kata without stopping, Akemi started to feel the training start to take its toll on his body. His moves felt sluggish, his limbs felt dull and it felt like his punches couldn't even harm that one kid he had met called Nano. The boy with a physique of a string bean, even if Akemi was one to talk. He stopped his kata, his breath heavy, his face drenched in sweat. Thank god he had worn a t-shirt and shorts today. Hoshi's heat was overbearing, the heat didn't pick any single person out. It affected EVERYONE.

After attempting to regain his breath back for a couple more minutes, Akemi's mind suddenly had an idea. Something that rarely happened, yet it happened right here, right now. In Hoshigakure... What a time to be alive! But what was this idea, I hear you asking. Well, it was a little spark in Akemi's mind. A spark which evolved into something about the genes running through his body. The Hiyu bloodline. A very special bloodline, one which Akemi held very close to his heart (Literally) it allowed the possessors to manipulate any cell of their body, with little to no repercussions. Anyway, I digress, there was this specific technique that Akemi had heard about, which was all about allowing the user to stretch with much, much more ease than they could before. It required but a single hand seal, and the chakra cost to maintain it was not something to even raise an eyebrow at. Heck, Akemi could probably use it nigh indefinitely if he so desired.

He sat down cross-legged, the pace of his breathing had evened out now, allowing for better and more clearer thoughts. Clarity which was a necessity for learning a new technique. Especially one so complicated, like every Hiyu technique ever. Seriously, why did all the Hiyu techniques have to be incredibly hard to learn? It was sersiouly one of Akemi's peeves, he was stupid, how the heck was he supposed to learn something this advanced? Well, the only method was through sheer willpower and determination! He nodded affirmatively to himself, his newfound determination egging him on firmly. This was it! This was the day where Akemi Hiyu - The greatest Hiyu ever - was going to learn his second Hiyu technique!

Right, so all it did was use the special Kekkai Genkai of the Hiyu to allow the bonds between the user's cells to become a lot more loose, giving the user to twist and contort their bodies in obscene ways. With the unique way the user moved during the technique, it meant that enemies would have a hard time keeping up with his movements. Meaning his already impressive speed would be seemingly bolstered to any people who had the unfortunate predicament of coming face to face with the small Hiyu, Akemi. To get a quick sense for his normal flexibleness, Akemi quickly did a few stretches like earlier. Touching his toes, falling backward and arching his back to fall in a 'spider'. All the stretches he could think of to act as a benchmark of sorts.

With the benchmark firmly etched into his brain, Akemi started recounting the technical parts of the technique he wanted to learn. Thinking about its uses was child's play, actually learning the technique... Well, that was a different story. Especially for someone as dumb as Akemi. He sighed, recounting the specifics,

So it only required a single hand seal, great. It seemed that most Hiyu techniques only required a single hand seal, that was rather odd. Especially considering the fact that they were all incredibly powerful. Akemi was not complaining though, such things like hand seals were incredibly confusing to him. He was a lover, not a fighter. Actually... No. Akemi was more of a typical fighter, preferring hand-to-hand combat over being kept at a ranged battle. The only ranged thing he could do was chucking weapons, yeah. But hey, at least he could chuck weapons pretty fast.

Akemi did one more stretch, before bringing his hands up from resting next to his torso, to in front of himself. Pressing both his hands together and interlacing both his hands between each other, forming the Ram hand seal. He circulated the resulting molded chakra around himself, his twisting and turning, weaving and ducking around his Tenketsu. As the chakra began to seep from his tenketsu, into and in between all his cells, he felt a bit of a ' loose' sensation. The chakra felt similar to the way it did when he used advanced transformation. Which... Actually made a lot of sense, considering they were both Tai No Hengen bloodline techniques and what-not.

He continued to direct the chakra around his system for a few more minutes, his eyes remaining closed as he did this. For Akemi was quite scared at the moment. After all, he was literally messing with the building blocks of his being, if he messed up, who knew what kind of monstrosity would be created? This was a very delicate process, and Akemi did NOT want to mess it up. He needed to get this right. His fighting style was all about surprising the enemy. What better way to do that than with a technique which was literally all about confusing the enemy!

He opened his eyes, feeling incredibly in control of his body. He felt like a new-born baby covered in lube after a trip to the Chiropractitioner. What a weird comparison to think about, Akemi needed to tone down with these weird tangents he went on. He raised his arm and opened all his fingers to reveal his palm. When he opened his hand, he instinctively stopped his hand when they reached the usual spot where fingers normally locked up. Yet this time, he felt like he could bend them back further.

He carried on pushing his fingers back, until all of a sudded, they were at a 90 degree angle to the back of his hand

Akemi's eyes widened to the size of Xyxer's ego at the sight of his hand. How. The. Heck. What even was happening? It was a strange site, seeing your limbs in ways you've never seen them before. A weaker boy probably would have puked at this truly terrifying sight, but Akemi was no weak man. He was strong willed, powerful. The best. Nothing could ever stop him!

This sudden increase in gymnastic proficiency required further testing, he truly did not know the extent of this Hiyu technique. What were the limits? Could he twist around like a slithering snake? Could he bend his arm backward? These were all questions which Akemi needed answering. It was dangerous if he didn't know the extent of his capabilities. It either meant he wouldn't be able to hold back his strength when it mattered, and he also wouldn't be able to use his abilities to their maximum. Getting to know your own limits and skill ceilings were important when deciding whether or not to actually fight someone.

So, with the willingness to test his capabilities firmly etched into his mind, Akemi decided to do something incredibly strange and peculiar. He suddenly started turning his head sideways, it reached the point where the neck would usually stop and prevent it from twisting anymore, yet Akemi felt no resistance. He continued turning, his head eventually in an extremely creepy "180 Degrees" look, to anyone looking at him right now. He'd look like some sort of beast, thank god no one else was here today. He didn't want to draw the unnecessary attention.

With his neck now twisted 180 degrees, Akemi could start to feel a little resistance. The resistance being at the front (Back?) of his neck. Yet he could still go further, there were some normal people who could do this easily, what kind of pathetic loser would he be if he couldn't do it with the aid of a bloodline ability? He retracted the twist and reverted himself back to his normal, inflexible self. He needed more to give more chakra!

He gritted his teeth, smashed his hands together, interlacing all his fingers to form the Ram hand seal, then he pumped an extreme load of chakra into his cells. Loosening them, making him feel like Zlata. Then, do you know what this small Hiyu boy did? He just fell backward, landing in a backward spider-like position. Then, he started walking towards his own feet, using his hands to grapple himself backward. This motion continued, until Akemi's torso was leaning backward, and was going through his legs! Meaning his head was now facing forward, and his entire scrawny body was now visible to the world due to the fact that his t-shirt seemed to have fallen down in this stretching motion. Dear lord, Akemi was probably eye candy to most women right now. Flexible guy, he was small and cute, and he had his clothes off? By golly, Akemi was sure to get a girlfriend soon! But who? All the women of course!

He was getting close now, he could feel it. His proficiency with this technique was slowly increasing the further and further he pushed himself. There was technically no limit to how skilled he could become. But there was still a certain level which Akemi intended to reach with this technique, and he was no were near that level yet. He just needed to keep pushing and pushing until he got further!

Akemi slowly worked his way backward, slowly working himself out of the weird position he was in previously, and straightened himself out, pushing down his t-shirt to cover up his total muscle torso, much to the dismay of every woman in the world. Totally. Why was Akemi becoming a narcissist all of a sudden? Who knew, maybe Akemi's creator was just trying to increase the word count in vain.

Akemi released the technique a second time, feeling a weird 'Locking' sensation in every single joint in his body. Though upon further inspection, he realized that the joints weren't locked up, they were just normal again. After several minutes of having complete mobility, then having it taken away, of course the normality in his body was to feel foreign. How strange.

Okay, he needed to practice this technique one more time, to make sure he had worked out all the kinks and imperfections in his technique. He wanted to learn how to actually properly use this in combat, it seemed so fun and intuitive. After all, who expected a tiny kid to suddenly bend over 180 degrees to dodge a lame-ass punch.

He placed his hands together to form the Ram hand seal one more time, feeling the chakra spread throughout his whole body, loosening up his limbs and allowing for easier movement. He then spent the good part of 10 minutes just doing nothing but stretching in extremely peculiar ways, likely looking like a weirdo to anyone who could currently see him.

Eventually, feeling satisfyingly stretched and ready to perform the technique, Akemi plonked himself on the grassy floor, now, what to train now?

Plonking oneself on the ground was an exceptionally good way to relax and think about things. You were free from any physical burdens, just pure, unending, relaxing. Akemi just had to close his eyes and take a deep breath in through his nose. Ridding his mind of any burdens, he needed to think clearly. What technique could he possibly learn now? He let out a single note hum, biting the inside of his cheek thoroughly. There were some taijutsu techniques he wanted to learn, but he, unfortunately, didn't remember enough about them to properly train them.

That was when his mind suddenly clicked, that was it! The technique which he had managed to learn most of, but it still needed refining. In fact, thinking back to how hurt he had got last time he tried to practice the technique, it needed ALOT of refining. Enough dilly-dallying, it was time to train!

He shot into the air from his seated position, shooting about 10 meters into the air before reaching the peak of his jump, and starting to fall down. Now, this is one might think that this is where Akemi dies, but nope. Akemi had a point to prove to no one in particular, like hell he was going to die! So, twisting and contorting his body as he fell, using the air resistance and as a place to maneuver from, he managed to twist himself an entire 180 degrees in the air. From this point on it was child's play, as he merely outstretched his arms, and landed in a push-up position on the ground.

Akemi took a moment to appreciate the fact that he had managed to use nothing but his puny arms to push himself 10 meters into the air from a sitting position. He must be the herculean god-send himself. Right, with that tiny (Tall?) problem out of the way, it was time to focus on the actual technique in question. The Intersection Method technique. It was one that was only really useful against other taijutsu users of close range techniques. Like that one, a technique, he had seen Damon use that one time. What did he call it again? Chidoro? Chidoreeeee? Oh right, Chidori. Akemi committed it to his memory banks for later use.

Akemi started slowly moving through the moves for the Intersection Method he slowly brought up his right knee and right elbow, feeling them connect quite lightly due to how little power and speed he had put into the technique. He ran through the moves again, just as slowly. Trying to refine his movements to the tee. No shaking, no waste of breath. Just him and the technique. He inhaled deeply through his nose, preparing himself. He didn't know how to practice the technique at its maximum speed without injuring himself like he did last time.

He ran through the motions a few more times, slightly faster and stronger this time, yet still nowhere near enough to actually almost shatter his knee and elbow.

Moar Trainin' [Private] Empty Re: Moar Trainin' [Private]

He sighed heavily, he was making solid progress, there was no doubt about that. However, he was going to soon reach the limit of his capabilities, if he didn't find a way to practice the technique properly. Though a cold sweat ran around his being when his mind recalled the intense pain he had felt last time. No one would ever practice him practicing that technique like that again, no way hoseay.

He settled into a limp stance, and that's when he spotted it. As if the gods themselves had blessed him, what were the chances? You see, right among the trees he was near, was an old training dummy. A broken, old looking thing, a dirty beige in colour. Each of its limbs looked opposable, and it had a spike on the bottom of its center pole. Presumably to allow a person to stick it into the ground with more ease. How convenient. So, sliding smoothly out of his beautiful stance, Akemi strode over to the dummy, using his scrawny arms to pick up the small training gadget. With the dummy tucked underneath his right shoulder, the Hiyu walked back to where he was previously and shoved the pointy end into the muddy ground.

Training Dummy:

Excitedly, Akemi swung the dummy's arm around, so that it looked like it was now mid-punch towards Akemi's face. Perfect! Excitement bubbled up in his chest, finally, a perfect way to practice the Intersection Method technique without injuring himself! A warm smile appeared on his face, he had to prepare for these exams as much as he could! There was no way that he, Akemi Hiyu, would lose to some no-name scoundrels! Or maybe he would, he had received a clue that it was a three way battle. And that his, Friend? Nano was going to be participating in it. That slightly worried Akemi, for he had already met the giant 12-year-old. Nano had been pretty fast, not as fast as Akemi, but still fast enough to pose a challenge. What's more, Akemi had told Nano about all his weak points. So Nano probably knew that getting close to Akemi was a bad idea. Which unfortunately meant, Akemi was going to have to work extra hard to even get a single hit in. That sucked, at least his proctor was probably going to be nice and kind?

Right, back to the matter at hand. Learning the intersection method. So, with the dummy in the optimal position for the Intersection Method to take place, Akemi began practicing. Weaving to the left, bringing his right elbow and knee towards each other. Subsequently, bringing them on either side of the arm, probably with enough force to easily completely obliterate any normal person's arm. Yet because this dummy was straw, it just slightly bent it.

He continued running through the movements multiple times, each time becoming increasingly more and more proficient with it. This dummy was definitely his new best friend, it saved him from countless more hours of running through the technique over and over again. It had even possible saved him from shattering his bones! Truly, real friends were overrated. That was when Akemi realized how sad that thought was, what a muppet. Friends were important! If your only friend was a dummy, where were you going to go to next? Friends with a rock? Akemi shuddered at the thought, deciding to distract his current disaster sadly thoughts with a little recap on the technique.

It was close range, it was brutish. Most likely shattering someone's bone if they weren't careful. It was basically another way to dodge a taijutsu technique, using an enemies attack against them and severely crippling them. Seriously, Akemi was not exactly a violent person, he definitely didn't want to shatter anyone's bones. Unless -of course- they were trying to kill him. That meant that learning this technique was a mistake, as it was against his morals to break allies bones....

Drat.

Moar Trainin' [Private] Empty Re: Moar Trainin' [Private]

Thu Jun 22, 2017 4:55 pm
With that moment, Akemi sunk into an emo-like demeanor. He was stumped, no long range jutsu meant that he was completely and utterly stuck. He was forced to try and get close to enemies, which -more often that not- was nigh impossible if they were skilled enough. One of the people he had to face, was a giant called Nano. The boy was certainly no joke, he had explicitly told Akemi that he specialized in ninjutsu. Which was basically just another way of saying that he was a long-range specialist. Which translated to "I'll destroy you before you can even get close enough to touch me". Well, probably not exactly like that, but that's what Akemi's optimistic brain flipped it into.

With these thoughts, Akemi subconsciously split his brain, so that while he was belittling himself, the other part was thinking up ways to actually fix the problem. Throwing weapons was one way, learning another technique was another. But learning stuff required tons of effort. The energy which Akemi was not exactly rearing up to use. He sighed, falling to the floor in a heap, staring up at the darkening sky with heavy breaths. He had done lots today, was he really in the state to learn more? He started chewing on the inside of his cheek, almost hard enough to draw blood. All he needed was a little motivation. A little drive to push him forward to greatness, that was all any shinobi needed. It was a necessity.

That was when his tiny mind dawned upon an answer, why couldn't he just learn a ninjutsu technique? It was rather embarrassing, why hadn't he thought of it sooner? Well, he did. But was just too lazy to even acknowledge it, his lazy mind just dismissing the idea the moment it appeared. Something Akemi decided to never happen again, whenever he had an idea, he would stick to it! He needed this technique, skipping out on it now could prove to be dangerous. Long range techniques for the win!

But now he was stuck on an impasse, what technique should he learn? He had that new element which he had learned from Damon, but he had very soon found out. That there weren't that many long-range lightning techniques. At least, ones that Akemi had the ability to. He was no ninjutsu specialist, what did you think Akemi was? Some kind of meta-following scrub Lord who went high speed/chakra and a ninjutsu primary specialty. Pah! What a joke. Akemi almost gagged at the thought. Him? Being smart? Hah! Hell would sooner freeze over than see Akemi do something smart.

If he couldn't learn any lightning techniques, what could he learn then? A weaponry throwing technique, or a wind technique? The young Hiyu had already learned three wind techniques, he was becoming quite proficient with it. Well, not that proficient, but enough to learn a technique with more ease than a beginner. That was when his mind awoke something, An answer to his age-old question, what do i learn? It was a simple wind technique, well, not that simple. It was a c-ranked wind technique, one which completely rekt anyone if they weren't that strong. A little technique called "The Great Breakthrough Technique" which basically just used chakra, to shoot the wind over a long distance and throw people around using it.

Now, how would he even begin to learn this technique? He was pretty clueless when it came to ninjutsu, but once he had a clear goal he could easily just work and work and work until he got there. A never give up attitude was certainly one of his more useful characteristics. Even if it was just a random addition his writer had just added to make writing as Akemi easier. Truly, what a genius tactic.

The breakthrough technique, now that was an interesting one to learn. It was unlike anything he had ever learned before, apart from the fact that it was a wind-based technique. Did it require at least 10? 2? 7? Hand seals? No, that wasn't right. It was something like 5 to 6 hand seals tops. So not that difficult, especially considering how fast he was. He could EASILY perform hand seals faster than most genin could attack. No sweat! The hard part was just learning how to perform the technique, eugh.

Akemi pushed himself up from his current lazing about position, closed his eyes and started to remember the hand seals. He hummed indignantly, annoyance evident from his horrible memory. He knew there were 5 hand seals, all of which he knew that he could perform. Just what were they? Tiger?  Yep, one down, four to go. Then it went... Err, Ram? No, a-hah, it was Ox next. Okay, so he was up to the hand seals "Tiger-Ox" he was making solid progress. That was when his memory suddenly cleared up, all the hand seals magically appeared in his mind. Tiger Ox Dog Rabbit Snake! A smile of glee worked its way onto his face, akin to the way a small child grins about doing something cool for the first time.

Without much effort, Akemi hauled himself back to his feet, being careful so that he didn't go launching into the air again. Then, he excitedly walked over to the nearest group of trees, took a deep breath, did the five hand seals Tiger Ox Dog Rabbit Snake and blew out the air... Only to be sorely disappointed, when nothing happened. He wasn't surprised that it didn't work, after all, Akemi was stupider than most. He would just have to work through this slowly and carefully, plotting each individual move with as much precision as humanly possible.

He took the deepest breath he could possibly manage, then began to sign the hand seals individually. Paying close attention to how each and every one of them affected his chakra. Tiger, his chakra began to stir, it got exciting. Ready to be released, Akemi help onto the feeling for a second, making sure everything was properly prepared before he continued. Content with the way it felt, Akemi continued. His fingers deftly formed another hand seal. Ox, this time, his chakra began to feel more "Wind-Like" it felt flowy. If that even was a word. It felt smooth and buttery, this was going swimmingly so far, he just needed three more hand seals! Dog, his bony fingers formed another hand seal. His chakra began to stream through his network, proof that whatever he was doing was correct. Yay. Intent on learning this in the shortest time possible, Akemi continued with his hand seal whatever. Rabbit, This time, his chakra flowed into his lungs, saturating all the air already present with the dense wind chakra. This felt brilliant, he was doing brilliantly. Everything was BRILLIANT! One more hand seal to perform, then it would hopefully be OKAY! Snake, the final hand seal. This was it. The moment which everyone reading at home had been waiting for. His chakra-filled lungs were practically begging to be let loose now. They were almost going to burst!

So, with an almighty push, Akemi blew out a huge lung full of air. Then he kept blowing, blew some more. Air continued to poor out of his lungs, just how much air had he amassed? Eventually, the stream ended, leaving Akemi out of breath, panting heavily, he looked ahead of himself to assess the damage. What he saw, was a disappointment. Literally -after all that wind and build-up- he had only managed to knock a few sticks from some branches. What. A. Utter. Disappointment.

Het let out a drawn-out sigh, it seemed that this wasn't going to be as easy as he originally hoped it would be.

His hands wove the hand seals again, Tiger Ox Dog Rabbit Snake, this time trying to pour exponential chakra into the technique. Upon ending the five hand seals, Akemi took a deep, chakra-enhanced breath. Expanding his lungs to a never seen before size, distinctly reminding him of another technique he knew. Oddly enough, it was a taijutsu technique. One of his favorite techniques called "The Seven Heavens Breathing Method". Both techniques required the user to inhale an excess amount of air, expanding their lungs. They just differed in the way they were used. This excited Akemi thoroughly. The concept of creating techniques and the way hand seals worked was greatly fascinating to him. He couldn't wait to gain the knowledge and insight on how to actually create techniques, it would be an absolute blast! Like this jutsu was supposed to be. Key Word: Supposed.

Akemi breathed out, the resulting gust of wind was certainly more intense than a normal blow. That was undoubtedly so. What was not so certain though, was the fact that what he had done was the true extent of this technique's power. There had to be more, right? After all, this was a C-Ranked ability. If all it could do was blow a twig or two a couple meters, was there really a point in learning it? Exactly, there HAD to be more. Akemi's entire day depended on it after all! A shudder crept up his spine, upon the realization that his entire day could have possibly been a complete waste. Eurgh, writing stuff sucked.

He decided to try the tactic of taking note of each and every hand seal with a complete and utter attention to detail. It had worked quite well last time, now he just needed to pay more attention. A task which would probably prove to be quite difficult, as Akemi's creator was starting to lose a bunch of drive and motivation. HE NEEDED THIS. Akemi had wasted enough time as is. The exams had been delayed by about a month, for whatever reason, and Akemi had barely done ANYTHING! It was unacceptable, this was something which needed to be fixed. Something which Akemi (And his writer) fully intended to do.

Right, it was time do d-d-d-d-d-d-dooo!

Akemi took a deep breath, sucking in the crisp evening air. He breathed it out slowly, closing his eyes, emptying his mind. Nothing was more relaxing than this, the part where you had to train a technique quickly, being rushed to complete. It was mind-numbing. Yet it was still fun, he needed to do this!

Akemi proceeded to perform each individual hand seal very slowly, pausing for about 30 seconds in-between each one. He did this - not because he sucked at performing hand seals - but because he was feeling the way it felt. And by 'it' he meant, "The Chakra". It was a work of art, the way it shaped, molded and just continued flowing. It was like putty in one's hands, Akemi just needed to work with it now. He needed to try and get it done!

He felt the chakra expand his lungs, then he simply blew it out. A HUUUGE gust of wind came flying out of his mouth, almost completely invisible due to the fact that it was air. The only thing clueing to its existence was the fact that many different trees were shaking, many of their leaves being transported along with the blast. It was truly a marvelous sight, one which Akemi wished to be able to take a picture of. Only... This world didn't have any cameras... What a shame.

He did it again, pouring more chakra into the technique this time, how difficult was it really? All it required was a lil' bit of chakra, and a little bit of know-how. This time, the technique was a little more powerful. This analogy was created from the fact that the leaves were carried further, and the small trees which were almost uprooted. His eyes glistened like a tiny kid's, he had learned something cool for once! Well, not that taijutsu wasn't cool. But it was primarily short range and just consisted of punches and kicks, something like a huge gust of wind originating from your mouth was something which Akemi rarely got to experience.

He still thirsted for more power though, he was determined!
