Thunder rumbled and boomed. Harsh rains poured down from the clouds with no end. Blue streaks of lightning flashed in the distant. Wind whipped dust up into the air and ripped leaves off of trees and bent any trees thin enough to fit ones hand around. This may have been one of the worst storms in the village of Konoha. Ban rolled back and forth in his bed. A sweat started to build up on his forehead. He groaned and made disapproving noises. He was having a type of nightmare. Suddenly he surged forward knocking the blanket off his chest and onto his legs. He shook his head in frustration at how his sleep was. A large frown could be seen on his face. "Damn, dreams about working hard are the worst! I haven't gotten any good sleep in a minute. Now I have to go outside into this storm and work to learn jutsu! The jutsu isn't even good either... Life can be such a bore." Ban grumpily hopped out of his bed lazily knocking his blanket onto the ground without care. Slowly he made his way to his closet dragging his feet in the process. He pulled a plain grey hoodie off a hanger and tossed the hanger to the ground. Slowly he squeezed into the hoodie then walked out the front door.

As soon as Ban was outside his small house fit for only one to two people the weather hit him like a brick. He could already feel the bone rattling cold air and the rain stung his face and hands seeing as those were the only exposed parts of his skin at the moment. He took a look around taking in the environment. The sky was all grey being blanketed with long stratus clouds with no gaps to be seen. It was the afternoon but it was gloomy and dark outside. The ground was soaked and so was he now. "At least it's raining out here today. Guess that makes it less boring so I guess I'll head out and train for these jutsu. I do wanna get stronger anyways. I'll go to the forest and train, that's my favorite place to be." Ban began to jog at a decent pace on his way to the forest. As he passed through the village he could see that all of the stores were currently closed which didn't surprise him. It was obviously due to the weather which was in his own opinion good weather. Storms are his favorite weather. He never really knew why but he enjoyed the rain. He also noticed as he cut through the village that there were kids playing outside their homes, splashing in puddles and running around. Ugh, he couldn't stand younger children mainly because of the stepbrothers he grew up with. Younger children were so annoying to him, with their high pitched voices and whining.

Due to his sight of the children he began thinking about his life as a child and he wondered where his father was at this point in time but he also wondered what made his father want to leave like he did. The thoughts filled him with anger and he came to the decision that if he ever met his father again, he'd give him a swift ass kicking. All of the thinking Ban had been doing distracted him from the fact that he was on his way to the forest and before he knew it he had arrived. He stopped at the edge and began to walk. He took a deep breath and let the fresh smell of the plant life and rain fill his nose. He enjoyed being at the forest, and that's why he had come here. Being in the forest would help him focus more on the training at hand. "So what was I coming here to practice and learn again? Ughhhh of course I would forget. Guess I'll just sit in a tree till I remember." Ban sighed and grabbed on to branches using them as leverage to pull himself higher up the tree. He then sat on a mid range branch on the tree, one strong enough to support and hold his weight. He sat completely still and listened to the wind whistling and rustling leaves forcefully. "Ah! Got it! I was getting ready to work on the clone jutsu and substitution jutsu! The two most basic, boring, and lame jutsu to ever exist.. Man this is such a bore. Maybe I should've stayed home, but I'm not going back now.. It was too much work just to come here!"

"Bunshin no Jutsu!" Ban's fifth attempt at the clone jutsu was a complete and utter fail. The clone resembled him in a completely different way. He was quite obese. Most facial features were all on point and well done aside from the missing eyebrows and bald head. Also the clone was pale as a ghost. He released the clone in disappointment. It dissipated in a cloud of smoke which was taken away swiftly by the light breeze Ban was growing frustrated even though he had only tried the jutsu 5 times. The sky had cleared up and the rain had come to a halt. The sky was bright blue and the only sign of clouds were little wisps drifting slowly across. The sun was shining brightly and Ban's hair matched its bright orange color. The only remains from the storm was a slight breeze and the calming sound of water droplets dripping from leaves and hitting the forest floor. Ban tried to focus on that and relax so that he could continue his training with the jutsu. He focused his chakra as much as he could and made the three hand signs. First he formed the ram hand sign. He placed his left pinky finger and ring finger over his right pink and ringer finger seeing as he's left handed. Next his left middle and ring finger came together with the left fingers being slightly above the right. He thumbs simply pressed together. Next was the snake hand sign which was significantly easier. All he needed to do for this hand sign was interlace all of his finger together. Lastly was the tiger hand sign which was also simple because it was basically the ram hand sign. The difference was his left and right pinky and ring finger interlaced instead of being stacked. Ban inhaled deeply through his nostrils and exhaled slowly from his mouth. He really wanted to get the jutsu right this time so that he could move on. Ranking up was something he had been longing to do since age 10 when he first wanted to be a shinobi. By ranking up less and less people could order him around and that was something he hated. The words burst out his mouth loudly this time. "BUNSHIN NO JUTSU!." There was power in his words but frustration too. Ban watched carefully as smoke appeared and soon was blown away by the breeze again. He desperately wanted to get this jutsu mastered. He closed his eyes and counted. "1... 2... 3... Please..." He lifted his eyelids slowly anticipating a failure but as he studied the clone he couldn't find any flaws with it. He moved closer and looked harder but he couldn't find anything. He had got it finally! It hadn't taken many attempts but to him it seemed about 2000. "YESSSSSS! I'm gonna have some fun with this jutsu. After all I did work for it.."

Ban was drowning.. Deep under the ocean with no immediate way up to the surface to inhale oxygen. He knew thrashing about and struggling wouldn't help so he calmly accepted his fate as he slowly descended to the bottom of the ocean, eyes closed and body still. Then he woke up. Ban was lying on the ground face into the dirt. His mouth and nose were completely pressed into the soil. He for some reason could feel pain across his face. "Ahhhhhh ouch! All I wanted to do was take a nap! I guess it probably wasn't a good idea to take a nap high up into a tree though.. All this work is tiring and a bore so it doesn't matter. Now I need to go back to training." Ban quickly pushed himself up from the ground and hopped up onto his feet. His clothes were now soaked and soggy due to lying on the wet ground from the rain. Dirt also clung to his clothes and as he noticed he did his best to brush it off but most of it stayed. Blades of grass were stuck inside of his bright orange hair which he wouldn't be able to get until he looked in a mirror. Ban was wide awake now that his clothes were all wet. He removed his hoodie and t-shirt throwing them up into the tree so he would find them later when he had finished training for the jutsu. He prepared himself to begin learning the transformation jutsu.

Ban wasn't sure what he had wanted to transform into using the transformation jutsu. He didn't know very many different faces himself so no ideas came to mind for him. In the end he just decided that he would try transforming into an animal. But he still needed to imagine what type of animal. He didn't want to do anything basic and boring but then he also couldn't do any complex and difficult animals because this was his first time using the jutsu. His mind bounced from animal to animal, deer, squirrel, monkey, dog, and cat. Finally he decided to just go with a basic dog transformation as a beginners start. He pictured in his mind, a brown pitbull dog its ears folder over themselves and aside from the nose the top of its snout was white. He began preforming the hand signs for the transformation jutsu. Ironically the first sign was the dog sign. The dog hand sign was rather easy and simple. Ban made a fist with his right hand and placed his left hand on top flat with all his fingers together. Next was the boar hand sign. The boar hand sign for Ban was in a way a bother because of the way you form it. Ban curled his fingers, aside from his thumb if you call it a finger, inwards against his palm. Then he put his hands together and rolled his wrists in towards himself. The last hand sign for him was the ram hand sign which was no problem for Ban at all because the previous clone had included it. He then said the two words, "Transformation jutsu!" A sound signifying the transformation could be heard and smoke could be seen. Ban looked himself up and down but couldn't seem to find any changes. He then turned his head to look at his back and a tail was attached to his tail bone but it wasn't ripping through his pants, it was inside. He could feel the tail against his leg and he didn't like it at all. "Hold up, what the hell?" He reverted instantly back to his normal human form. "Guess I'll try it again." Ban completed the hand signs and called out the jutsu name again, this time he had a dog snout as the only change. Once more he tried it and this time he was covered in fur so he reverted again. He repeated this process 20 more times until he finally stopped. "Just what's up with this jutsu? It's definitely not as easy as the clone jutsu. I can't see what I'm doing wrong to only be getting partial transformations. This time I'll try to completely focus on and picture a pitbull. A FULL pitbull not certain parts.. Alright he I go." Ban preformed the hand signs and called out the jutsu name. The following sound came and the smoke too. He was surprised to see that he became shorter, he couldn't see as high as before. He looked down as saw furry legs and a wave of relief hit him. He reverted himself back. "FINALLY! I'm finished with this training. It was such a bore but I'm finally done now. I'm going home to get a snack and go to sleep." Ban picked his hoodie and shirt down from the tree and began making his way back to the village and his house.

Hey there friend! Do us a favor and put an [Exit] and your claims. You've trained both Clone and Transformation here and those are easy to remember. But in the future toss a link to the techs you're learning so we have an easy way to compare and make sure the word count is done, or any other requirements the tech might have. I'll leave an example below :) You also need to claim stats as well.

There's an example for you so you can see the type of information we need from you at the end of training (Or any thread you obtain something in really, stats, money, jutsu, and item you've done the word count for, a mission, etc)

Edit in the claims onto this and I'll gladly approve it (Or if another mod see's that you've done it before I've gotten to it, they can too)

No problem, usually as I said you'll include the actual link to the tech (There's a hyperlink option in the tool bar when you make or edit a post) but the important part is the url to the tech itself so we can have quick and easy access to make sure you

A. Can have the technique
B. Make sure you did the proper wordcount for the technique.

Buuut everyone can learn transformation and substitution and I know the word count is 500 each so you're good

Approved, just link the techs themselves in future training, there's a thread will all site techs on it in the 'Suggestions' area fyi
