Now that she wasn't thinking about death, she could start to read his objectives now. However, going to a battlefield is the last thing she wanted now given her capabilities. News on demise of the hidden sand had been common knowledge for a while now and knowing that he wanted to fight another hidden village makes sense since he is part of the destroyed ninja village. Maybe he wanted revenge, she wasn't sure. Maybe this is how he earn his keep as a hired blade. She could find out.

Are you going to fight alone? What do you stand to gain from the coming battle? She asked. It is common sense that an ordinary ninja wouldn't take on a hidden village alone.

Then he answers the second question, "I gain Suna's freedom." The Lycan says bluntly. "Now that you asked a bunch of questions, It's my turn." He looked up and down on her to see for any weapons, he then turned his gaze back onto her face. "Are you a ninja and where are you from?"

Again and again, Ioritsu is reassured of the fact that he knows nothing about the distant past that she was passed to. Not surprised that he would turn it around and ask questions that she would least expected from the hunter.

I used to work as cargo deliverer and moved from place to place because of my job since young. She would reply to his question with a smile to present herself as comfortable now, taking the assumption that Ryou stayed at the hidden village before it was no more. Knowing that he isn't alone, she realized that she could use other members in his group to keep herself safe for the time being.

Can I join up? I can provide safekeeping services. She offered a suggestion.

"Cargo huh?" Ryou said in his like thinking voice. He said this after she asked to join the group. "Can I trust her?" Was Ryou's first thought. Then another question popped into his head, "Is she able to do was she says?" He thought these things to himself. "Alright," The Lycan addressed to her. "I'll show you what I can do, you show me what you can do." He said this to give a good reason to train and see her ability.

If she agreed to Ryou's offer, he would fast away from her and begin to the two hand signs for Dance of Seedling Fern. Then the chakra came next. Bone spikes appeared rapidly but only ten. Ryou took a deep breath. "Well, that's only some of the power have." He explained. He took the fuma shuriken off his back next before infusing it with wind chakra. "I can also do this." The Lycan said before throwing the massive throwing blade infused with chakra. It was aimed for the tree he was hitting earlier, the tree spit clean in half. Ryou jumped over to where the large shuriken to place it back on his back before body flickering back over to where Ior was. "Now that you know that i use wind style and my kekki genki, your turn to show me your skills." Ryou tested. The Lycan didn't show her the werewolf form because he didn't want to scare the poor girl.

If that was a trick done to make her believe that he is not a hunter, this would be a deep trap for her. Repeating the same technique again, she thought that he must be keeping something from her. These spikes could all had come up at the same time, making her think that he must be reserving his powers. She doesn't have enough power to combat that anyways, at least for now. But then, he walked up her and asking for her skills. It was then she took a moment to think about what she is going to show as it might change him into a hunter in reality now.

She smiled to him and used both hands to perform the rat seal followed by the boar, both conventional handseals done by conventional methods; She performed both with fillers and focused on his large shuriken at his back as it disintegrates into particles slowly should he allowed that to happen.

Ryou watched as she showed off her ability. Wow, what an interesting technique. Ryou thought. "Gre-" he was about to tell her about how cool he thought her jutsu was before he got a telepathic message. This is Kazuo Kemuri. Our leader is gone. Whether he died in his homeland or betrayed us for their cause matters little. Hitsuyo Aku is now under my control. You will find me in the Land of Iron, atop the highest peak of the Three Wolves Mountains.Any members that do not report to me within a week will be branded traitors and marked as an enemy of the Hitsuyo Aku. I expect to see all of you very soon. Ryou couldn't say anything back because before he could interpret what Kaz said, the transmission ended. The Lycan turned to Ior, "Have you heard of Three Wolves Mountain?" Ryou asked. "Well, that's where we need to go for our next group thing." Ryou honestly didn't like the idea of going to the Land of Iron. He remembered it from his academy days, it was a pretty cold land. Ryou was much more accustom to hotter weather like the desert, the place of Sunakagure. "If you're ready, then we can head there right away." The Lycan told her.

It didn't take him very long to approve of her although he doesn't necessarily represent the group, it could just be a personal acceptance given his stutter. She was asked of a place that she had only passed by once in her life due to her previous job. It would be as good as being new to the place, he doesn't need to know the details either as she doesn't have much memory about that place.

Lead the way She said, the very least she could do is to follow him.

"Lead the way," was all Ior responded with. "Great, we'll head for there right away then." Ryou smiled and turned toward the exit of the town. Ryou reported back to Kaz via the telepathy seal, Me and a new comer will be heading there now. Then he added out loud to Ior, "Along the way, we could train a bit...you know, to get a head start." Another good reason to travel with Ior was so that he could also keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't die if/when they battle Kumo.  The Lycan continued down the path at the slower pace for Ior sake before getting exciting completely.

All there is left is to follow him now. She hoped that meeting new people of the same sort may keep herself safer at least for the little while. Training along the way would be nice though one wrong step might her cover away, one never knows what might come up as harmful when roaming at places where laws are less of an issue.
