Toward Haven

Sorethin moved down the barren road at a sedate pace, moving with both the corpse of the crimson haired chain user, and the blonde haired man with the unnatural affinity to fire. They bodies were carried in the air behind the man by his threads. There were no witnesses to stop him, as he purposefully chose and out of the way road to avoid any bystanders. No, if he wanted to gain entry into Hoshigakure somehow then he couldn’t kill anyone else. That also meant he would need to figure out what to do with the bodies. But that would simply have to be improvised, as he refused to leave such useful bodies behind. The corpse of a shinobi could hold a great many secrets, and he killed these two himself. Spoils of war and all that right? As he moved he had the final heart he required out, slowly assimilating into himself as he walked. He didn’t really need to focus on it at this point, just allow his chakra to slowly bring the organ to life once more by re-igniting it’s chakra system. Then it could be used to create brutally powerful techniques of the lightning element. The best part? Once he finished this one he’d have all five of the elements. This meant he could learn any ninjutsu he felt like learning. A truly marvelous advantage on a battlefield. He simply needed to learn complementary techniques to use. But that shouldn’t be too difficult so long as he played things smart and did his research. He’d have to play things carefully though. He could only afford to stay in the village for so long before people started asking questions. If he was even able to stay in the first place. As he moved he felt the lightning heart near him give a shudder before it began beating again. This time a little more forceful, the chakra it was giving off a little more powerful. This caused the yellow eyed, white haired male to smirk as he felt the chakra levels the heart gave off increase. He took in a deep satisfactory breath before noting that it was getting extremely hot. Did that mean that he was getting close to the desert? That was good, it meant he’d be in Haven country soon and would be able to request asylum. He’d still need to figure out what to do with these corpses though. At this point Sorethin would glance up at the sky and note that based on the sun’s position it would be fairly early in the morning still. This was perfect as it meant he made great time. As he moved he felt a burst of chakra coming from the heart and moved his head just quick enough to dodge of small arc of lightning from it. The last one was the hardest it seemed, that was fitting of course. Although he should probably focus a bit more on the heart itself to avoid such situations on the road. Of course it wouldn’t matter, because this post is over. So he would continue down the road, bodies and heart in tow.
