Refreshing Gardens [P]

Satoru is doing one of his very enjoyed activities in this village named Hoshigakure. He is taking a stroll through the Water Gardens and taking in the serene sights. The grass beneath his sandals, Satoru feels the multitude of flimsy blades cushion his steps. The grass is so rich that it feels as though he walks upon somewhat of a cloud. Accompanying this is the ever going sound of water dripping and flowing which seems to come from all directions. It is such an immersive experience. A comforting feeling from below the feet, relaxing sounds from all directions, a beautifully full field of view consisting of green, marble white, and a dim blue form the water. Along with this, the scent of the area is that of plant life. The scent of flowers permeates the environment through all extremities of this garden. And while there are a variety of flowers in this area, no scent ever seems to overtake another and no two scents combine to create an overbearing new scent. Above, the sun glows with just the right amount of light peeking through the clouds. This causes shade to be placed upon the ground in quite an enjoyable fashion. So, recapping, sight, sound, touch, and scent are all being caressed in this place. Yes, all is enjoyable here. This is why Satoru strolls this area.

People aside from Satoru do the same. Citizens of Hoshigakure are no strangers to their own village's amenities. A multitude of people talk around these gardens as Satoru does, taking in all of the senses which are gently stimulated here. The grounds are large enough to make it feel as though each person exists in their own paradise. Despite the number of strolling men and women and children in these gardens, Satoru rarely ever runs into any other person here. He is very content with being alone and this too is satisfied in the water gardens.

When Satoru thinks on what this village has that seems to cause some attraction compared to Kumogakure, he mostly moves to these water gardens first. There was no such sight in Kumo, no such beauty for the sake of beauty. No, it was actually quite sombre in Kumo. Satoru never did accommodate to his second inhabited village. Amegakure would not leave his heart even after the territory became an official part of Lightning Country's sovereignty.

Thinking about it now as he walks through the water gardens, Satoru is momentarily taken away from here and fears for what Kumogakure might have done to his home village since he left it. Have they defamed it? Should he return, will he not like what he sees? But before he answers these questions for himself, he remembers why he has elected to remain in Hoshigakure in the first place. He is here to study the social environment here. And if he succeeds, Satoru may be able to fix those societies that destroy.

Then he wonders if the presence of Kumogakure here will somehow infect the more pure society. Hoshigakure's people are as close to a utopia society as Satoru has seen. It also dawns on him that his very affiliation with Kumogakure may cause a greater conflict than previously thought. Should he attempt to appeal to the village's kage in order to be considered an official member of Hoshigakure's forces? Yes, that would be a most appropriate course of action.

But the enjoyment that this place dispenses for those who take in it sights and sounds and scents is temporary for an interval of time. After enjoying the water gardens, for almost an hour, the effect wares off. It isn't monotonous, but regular to Satoru's senses. And this regularity is exactly what makes Satoru come to the water gardens in the first place. With the effect gone, he has no reason to be here any longer.

He begins to think about where it is that he wishes to go next. Something new to his senses. And by new, Satoru is looking for something he hasn't experiences for at least two days. It comes to his mind that he has not visited the richer parts of the village at all yet. Though he has little money, he is not looking to buy anything from the shops. But with ninja work finally beginning to show, Satoru is actually beginning to accumulate funds.

So, Satoru agrees with himself to depart for a higher end shopping district in Hoshigakure. As for where exactly he is to find this part of the village, he is unsure. A map would help greatly. Maybe he will ask for directions. However it is done, Satoru turns towards the direction of the exit and proceeds to leave the gardens.
