Document Retrieval[IO]

It seemed they didn't trust the young Hozuki. It didn't really mean much to him, nor does it really affect him. From moving from Kumo to Suna. He has already felt the feeling of not being trusted by an entire village. But after being gone so long, he just has to start at square one again. "Yup born and raised, do they still have that part in the chunnin exams where you have to infiltrate some building to receive a scroll? That was the last thing I did before I decided to dropped out of the exams." Kyson said with a light laugh. Still remembers that day like it was yesterday. He didn't even give a notice that he was leaving that day, he just upped and left.

"I've been itching for some action lately. Hope i'm not too rusty." Kyson said as he brought out his demon blade triplets. A red sword with three demon faces on them, this would be the first time he has ever used it in combat. But there was still something that seemed a bit off as he was wielding it, but he'll find out sooner or later. Kyson noticed Max bringing out a puppet. Kyson was unaware Max was a puppet user. Or maybe he mentioned it in their last meeting and he just forgot. But either way, this seems like an interesting tea. Kyson watched as one of the twins gave orders, Kyson just stood there and listened. Looking towards the gates of the village, he wanted to get into a formation while they move out. But Kyson had the best job, he was told do what he does best. There was no other way he would've liked it. Kyson smirked after he finished his orders. 

As they all moved out, Kyson would just run along side them to the left. Running about 8 meters away from them. They were unaware about the organization Kyson had started. He wasn't going to mention it unless he was satisfied with their results. So he will play the mystery role for this mission until the end of the mission.

Max would hear Komori inform them that he had found assailants. Whether or not they had been those the group had been looking for was unclear, but they did seem to attack one of Komori’s clones. No matter who they were, they made the mistake of attacking us.
 
Max would begin to say something, but before he could get any words out the Hozuki twin would have already been dashing away. Max could probably catch up to him, but that would be foolhardy. Max would choose NOT to run into a situation effectively blind. That was… reckless. There were other colorful ways to describe such actions, but Max would decide upon just using the term reckless. Luckily, Max had known that Komon would at least use his brain a bit during this mission.
 
Hearing Komon speak of there being five targets, Max would relay to Kyson that they found targets. See, while Max knew that they could all talk with one another via telepathy seals, Kyson would be left out in the dark about plans and strategies. An uninformed team member is one that will be at a disadvantage and possibly even a liability. Max couldn’t allow Kyson to go in blind. “There are five targets ahead, all with relatively minor chakra potency. I am unsure of your capabilities and you may already know this, but it would be best to make sure you were aware.” Max would say this in a hushed tone directed at Kyson, trying to be more inclusive. He might not know him, and he might not fully trust him, but this was a mission and Max’s life might end up being in Kyson’s hands. The boy wanted those hands to be as prepared as they could be.
 
The Twins had already begun readying for combat. Taking Komori’s words into consideration, Max would decide to have some fun. The Chuunin would form the seal of confrontation and place his hand down on the ground, calling forth his new puppet. In an instant a huge mass of sickly white flesh appears in front of the boy, the thing on its knees hunched over. If fully upright, the thing would have to be nearly 18 feet tall. Max would immediately begin attaching his Chakra strings to this massive puppet, opening the hatch on the back. Max would step inside and put on the Visor, but refrain from using the headphones. If Kyson had been able to communicate with him by use of a telepathy seal that would be one thing, but Max would need to be able to at least try to hear anything that the mysterious ninja had said.
 
“Once I am inside Dread Knight some of our verbal communication will be muffled,” The boy would say hoping that this would not prove to be an issue, “Ideal circumstances would have allowed us to learn how to effectively communicate with only hand signals, but we will have to make it work anyhow. The mission might depend on it.”
 
Max would immediately boot up the “Enhanced Optics” system, utilizing its infrared vision to help him pinpoint targets. He was no Hyuuga, and had no powerful Doujutsu, but he honestly didn’t feel like he was at that much of a disadvantage. Of course, this was because the boy didn’t know the full scope of the Byakugan.
 
The large puppet would seem to be without any weapons, but its bony fingers would prove to be plenty sharp enough to rip through most soft fleshy substances with ease. Heck, it would likely shred through harder substances too, but Max fully expected to test it all.
 
“Optic systems seem to be functioning just fine, and movement seems to be going smoothly as well”, Max would think to himself as he moved around, testing the range of his puppets arm motions. While this might be an odd time to do testing, Max was fully capable of multitasking and he was closing in on the group of enemies (Speed 60, because of puppet momentum rules), with the two skeletal puppets dashing along with him at the same speed. With his army of puppets, they wouldn’t have to worry as much about being outnumbered if this was all a ploy used in order to set up an ambush.
 

Max would move into position, making sure that Kyson was not separated from the group. Not because the boy didn’t think he could handle himself, but more because he wanted to SEE how Kyson handles himself.

OoC: Wasn't sure what folks had planned for the NPC's, so I didn't post anything directly regarding them or the upcoming combat. If they are preparing an ambush, know that Max can detect heat signatures right now with his optics, so hiding will be harder for them especially if they don't know about it.

As everyone pauses for a brief moment, it seemed something happened outside of the group. So Kyson stopped with the group to see what was going on. Waited for someone to say something. Hearing Komon speak, it seemed his brother just rushed into combat. He claimed stealth was really his combat type, which Kyson did very well. But as a fellow Hozuki, he'd be lying if he hasn't done the same. Though that cockiness they have might get them killed one day. "Well isn't that convenient." Kyson would say. Not knowing that he too also had the same bloodline. But that also made Kyson wonder, he assumed because they were twins they each got both sides of the bloodline. But from what it looks like, they each only were granted one. 

Kyson heard Max explain the situation to him, there were five enemies up ahead. Kyson heard it loud and clear. "Five huh, well I think I'll move on ahead. Someone has to back that clumsy idiot up."  Kyson said to Max. He heard him say how communication might be hard for the circumstances they are in at the moment but that was fine for Kyson. As shinobi, we have to learn to make adjustments on the go. Kyson would look towards the two for a brief moment as he spoke. "Just inform me if anyone more decide to show up from afar. I assume you two can handle things just fine as I help the hyper one." Kyson said as he walked out towards the open. With his demon blade in his left hand, he would transmit chakra into the sword. Each of the three beast eyes would light up as a dark energy would commence from the blade. This was the first time he used the blade in actual combat, but he was able to tame it much better than he could before since his training with it. As the blade made growling noises, Kyson would twirl it in his hands as he was walking up on Komori.

"Hey dumbass.. don't just walk into combat just because you can turn your little body into water." Kyson said to him as he was walking up to him. Looking towards the five shinobi that dared to approach them. Kyson took a few steps towards the five shinobi as they were a good distance.


"Its been a minute since I've been in some good combat. This should be perfect to knock some of the rust off. Plus, there's a few things I want to try out..." Kyson said as he Hydrifcated his Kibo Hidora
armor onto his body, giving him a passive +25 chakra. He then activated water sovereign to give him another +50 chakra, making it 175. "It was a shame that we were your opponents... because your not leaving here alive.." Kyson said as he activated display of power. Giving him a +300 artificial stats and making his stats 675. Showing off a purple aura that represented the darkness from his Demon blade. Not showing a huge all out aura, but enough to cover his body. Hoping his teammates would do something cool and show off their power as well... Kyson cracked his neck as he continued to twirl around his blade. "No survivors..."  

As Komon’s giant kunai and his brothers water attack sped towards the massive brute Komon would watch in shock as a blue field surrounded the giant. “How the hell” Komon would think before focusing on the man’s eyes. “I see” He’d say to himself as he began to piece it together, after all, it all seemed to make sense when grey eyes fell upon grey eyes. “You’re not a sensory ninja, You’re a hyuuga” Komon would call out to the member of his clan. “Nonetheless, I can’t let you leave here alive, you’ve put my village in danger”

Komon would say with ice in his words, while he simultaneously pulled off his warhammer and casted soul expulsion, feeling his chakra levels rising to 180. “Your fate is sealed traitor” He’d say dashing towards the man. The brute of course would run towards Komon head on, intending to meet him in close range combat, it made sense for a hyuuga and was a good course of action for the two to fight.

Komon was counting on this, as the man willingly closed the distance between them he’d channel his lightning chakra into the handle of his weapon. “Here goes nothing” The jounin would exclaim as he used the new jutsu for the first time in actual combat, slashing his warhammer down from above his head and into the ground, creating an arc of electricity that grew with every meter.

The attack moved with such speed and power that the man didn’t even have a chance to react before he was split in half from head to toe, guts and blood bursting out all the while. Komon wouldn’t hesitate to continue running towards his brother and Kyson, as the two were currently facing an onslaught of ninja.

As Komon ran past the corpse he had just created he’d take note of the now blank eyes, as the hyuuga curse mark on the man’s head began to disappear.

Max would watch as the chakra level of Kyson would spike to an immense number. While some of this looked to be merely for show, the boy could feel a sense of real power behind it. These shinobi didn’t seem to be particularly noteworthy and not worth the groups full capabilities.
 
Of course, despite this fact they all seem to be “showing off” unnecessarily, likely in an attempt to not be “shown up” by Kyson, the “new guy”. Max could feel the Curse Mark from Komori, a constant reminder of his fallen brother, Senshi and the positive mark he had left on the village. Komon would look to have a large chakra based barrier around him that looked very much like a lesser form of that technique that Maku had used. Were they one in the same? Or was Komon’s merely a derivative of Maku’s stronger technique? Max would surely look into this matter more in the future.
 
Regardless of what the Jutsu had been, Max would note that there was one thing that the group might not have taken into account. The first being that this might have merely been the first encounter, where the enemy sends their… cannon fodder at the group to assess strengths, weaknesses and capability. If Max were going to attempt something as large as an attack on a village, this is what he would try to do. He would have someone with scouting capabilities, like Komon for this team, and have them sitting back, cloaking their chakra and watching from an undisclosed location while gathering intel on what the enemy counterstrike was capable of. If he found them lacking, he would dispatch the futile resistance and succeed in the theft of the scroll. Us giving a larger display would also show them that they are better off retreating, instead of lulling them into a false sense of security and dispatching all of them.
 
Now, this might have been a much more loosely put together attack, but they managed to get the scrolls and get out before we could react. They have to be more organized and capable than… this sad display. No, there was something more going on here. Something more sinister had to be afoot….
 
Max would NOT show off more than he needed to, as he truly felt that someone might have been watching them, and learning.
 
Dread Knight would now be at full stride (Reaching 120 speed), his boney fingers out and ready to shred the enemy limb from limb. Max would watch as the others seemed to show little mercy, dispatching their respective opponents with lethality and relative ease. A little bit too easily for the boys liking. Komon looked to have taken the other opponent on without much effort, and the signatures near Kyson and Komori would be handled without much effort on their parts either. Just as he had expected, there were more assailants waiting to ambush them, and likely even more in waiting that have seen the group’s power. They would likely scamper away and live to fight another day.
 
Max would swap his vision over to standard and rush at the enemies on the ground. Their stunned status and distance from the others would make them the perfect targets for the massive puppet to pounce on. With a simple motion, it would thrust its sharp, massive fingers into the chest of two of the stunned shinobi, piercing through the heart and preventing further suffering. Max didn’t wish to see them suffer, as they just were doing what they needed to do. Max was now doing the same.
 
There were two more enemies on the gorund, one in armor. Max would pick that one up from the ground, making sure that its weapon was not in hand and squeeze. While the armor might prevent the bone hand from penetrating its chestplate, the force of the mail being crushed all around him would likely prove to be his demise, his innards becoming a thick, gooey paste of gore pouring from any place it could. Max would discard the body after ensuring that the job was done and look to the last one likely lying there terrified.
 
A trained shinobi would not allow fear to stun him like this, though these enemies were dispatched with such ease that the boy wasn’t sure they were shinobi at all. He would stomp on the limbs (Especially the ankles and hands) of the man, hoping to prevent any escape.
 

Max would then turn and watch the others, not wanting to get in the way of those senior to him and keeping an eye out for their flanks. Plus, he may be able to learn something from watching them.

As Kyson noticed 4 more shinobi began to appear. This was going to be fun, finally some action. As his sword was growling and hungry for blood, he didn't want to keep them waiting too much longer. Hearing Komori's comment about them sending reinforcements. Kyson smirked as he stopped twirling his sword in his hand and began to hold it firmly. "Hmph, backup? All I see is more corpses." Kyson said as he was ready to strike. Running forward at a speed of 50 with his full armor on and his sword held in his left hand. 4 Kunai's were thrown at his simultaneously towards his chest. Seeing them coming at him, as if they were moving in slow motion because of how fast his reaction was, he simply used his blade and swung it horizontally at the Kunai. Knocking them out of the way as he continued to run towards his enemies. 

His demon fang triplets blade began to growl louder as they see the flesh coming within their range. As Kyson was now approaching the first shinobi, the demons on his blade opened their mouths wide as they were getting ready to bite down on their opponents. As Kyson swung his blade towards the left side of his opponents waist, the triplets bit down on his flesh as the sword made contact. Leaving a big chunk of skin hanging off. The man screamed in pain as he went down after that strike. 

Now it was on to his next opponent, Kyson stared at the next 3 as he was standing over their injured ally. One of them decided to throw 3 shiruken at him, not knowing how durable his armor was. He could just tank the 3 ninja stars or even use Hydrification to just let them pass through. But he had a better plan, as he saw the shiruken leave his hand. Kyson picked up the injured ally and used his body as shield. He screamed in even more agony as the shiruken landed in his back. Being finished off by his own comrades. Kyson would run towards the one who threw the Shiruken while still holding on to the corpse he just killed. Kyson would place a paper bomb on his stomach without the other 3 noticing and Kyson would toss the human shield over towards the one who just attacked. Detonating the paper bomb, causing explosion damage to both enemies. Even though one was already dead.

The other two stood next to each other. Kyson stared at them as he put his arm out and opened his palm. A 5 inch bright ball of wind began to form on his palm at a speed and power of 120. He would then gently send it right in between the two of them at a speed of 120. And then detonated the wind bomb at a speed and power of 120. He could of used the stronger version, but the blast radius might have caused him to injure his allies. That would be to dangerous and risky for such simple enemies. After taking out 4 of the enemies, he would scope around to see how everyone else was doing as he Hydrificated his helmet so his face was showing, basically taking it off.
