Re: Fallen Behind, not to Late to Catch Up? (P, NK)

Tomoko was able to ignore the pain for the most part as Tatsuma continued to explain the lesson. She was backed in a corner, but she couldn't lash out like a mindless beast. She had to keep her wits about her, and learn different techniques so that she could adapt against her foes during battle.
Hopefully Tatsuma was about to teach her one or two of these tactics he was so enthusiast about, because right now she didn't have any for how to fight in this situation.
Then a shadow clone of Tatsuma appeared.
"Tats. Finally caught up brother."
Correction. Then Tatsuma's twin brother appeared. As he got closer it became more apparent that the twin weren't the same person. Though they had similiar feature Tatsuma was in far better shape than the newcomer, who seemed to have a much more average physique. She continued to observe the differences between the two brothers as Xabi seemed reluctant to join in on the training.
He eventually relented however and got within position across from Tomoko.
After Xabi introduced himself Tomoko gave him a smile, glad that he had decided to struggle alongside her.
"My name is Tomoko, it's nice to meet you."
A funny thing to say to someone who was going to be trying to hit you in a few moments, but they were just all working together to get stronger. Tomoko had already accepted that Tatsuma's training would leave her battered and bruised, but she was starting to think she'd also be a bit stronger once this was over.
As soon as Tatsuma said begin his brother burst into action. At first Tomoko mistook this for a mindless attack, and thought this would be an easy chance for her to counter and get a counter on her opponent. But then she saw his left arm move, and realized that this maybe be a distraction. Moving as quickly a she could (20 speed), Tomoko reached out with her left hand and reached for the wrist of the arm that was striking out towards her midsection. She used all her strength (5 strength) to grasp it if she managed to get a hold of it, and would attempt to stop the blow before it reached her. She'd then attempt to hold Xabi's arm in place, not easing up her grip at all. Her right hand would be ready to try and block a blow from his other hand if he tried something. She wasn't sure what she'd do if she managed to grapple both of his arms, but that wasn't her concern right now.

xuba noted the got's analytics were spot on as it was the appropriate response however he remained silent as he sat on the ground and crossed his legs observing.
xiba on the other hand was in the heat of the moment his left hand resting in a ready position so it was to no surprise that tomoko would begin with the proper defense. the use of an open hand and with the poise being careful to block this. However this was where the lines of open hand combat would get very funny. xiba did note tomoko had close to similar strength as his own arm yet her block and grip were over the top of his left wrist which in the span of a few split seconds he thought of the appropriate response.
his first initial action was to aim a shot towards tomoko's right side of her body with a short hook punch aimed at tomolo's ribs, however this would miss tomoko's body by a couple inches as. (speed: 5) this change of trajectory and requiring focus on changing her block choice would play pivotal with his next action.
without even looking towards his right arm xabi would preform the inside to outside block. (+5 to strength due to being a closed fist) by moving his held wrist towards the center of tomoko's body and with the motion it would prove to add a quick burst of strength. Thus breaking her grip from his right hand, and simultaneously striking tomoko's outstretched left forearm with the full motion of the block lest she blocked it or somehow moved her arm. (strength:10, speed 5)
this motion and tactic went by the simple concept that if you have a strong block. it can be as powerful and devastating as a block. if the action went through xabi's moving left arm would begin a circular motion as he would if the block was successful and the strike to tomoko's arm via tomoko's arm being struck from full block. His right hand would rotate downwards in a circular motion being capable of making his right arm as an additional striking motion but also another way to block tomoko should she try to strike.
the left hand would be aimed with the back of his wrist towards the center of tomoko's chest. this may if successful cause tomoko to reach once more towards the center of her body. This time with her right hand. (speed:5 strength:5)

(Sry den man)
The girls guard slipped and xabi landed his blow. But it was more in part that the girl was in pain. With a quick hand xuba lifted thevchains relieving the girl of the pain and harshness. Seemed she was pretty taxed.
"Hm well we will call it a,day ok?"
Xani stated as he glanced at xuba for confirmation which xuba, simply shrugged and understood as he fashoned the chainn on his shoulder again and smiled.
"Good work taking advantage of the lowered guard xabi. Naturally if a mistake ocvurs you must always take advantage of it. Force them to compromise their other hand to. By being on attack you control the pressure comming onto an opponent, but mot nessarily the flow. As it is easy to flip the close combat fight against yourself, or the enemy against you by over extending, or over exterting offensive pressure. A blaence must be presented unless on defense. At that point you must as you learned here. Find a way to bring the flow back to under your control."
Xuba lectured the two as he smiled.
"Well xabi lets get some more grub shall we?"
Xuba asked as xabi's stomach growled a bit.
"I guess your right brother"
