Akane Cleans up
Fri Jan 19, 2018 7:31 pm
Akane sighed, her arms toting a bucket full of a mixture of soap and water along with a sponge and rag in the other, as she stopped right outside the door of the Hidden Leaf Orphanage. She had been informed that the place would be empty for her to be able to perform the duties she had come today in order to perform as she knew it was going to be one of the more boring missions she'd have as a ninja. She walked inside the orphanage setting the bucket and utensils to the side as she could see the floor covered in debris as she couldn't help but feel agitated at how dirty and nasty it all was. She sighed again as she knew that the sooner she started the sooner she'd be finished as she picked up a soap and water soaked sponge and went into the female bathroom.
She went to work on the stalls, going to the toilets and cleaning up things that were written on the stall walls as well as the mirrors, as she would make certain that all nastiness was wiped off and cleaned from all the toilets. After making certain the women's bathroom was cleaned she moved to the boy's bathroom and went to work on the stalls and toilets and, ugh, urinals. Strangely enough, however, the men's bathroom seemed to be cleaner than the women's which threw her for a loop. Upon finishing up with the mirrors and toilets she found a piece of rope which was sitting in the corner as she went over to it and picked it up to throw away. Upon doing so she got an idea. Instead of completely devoting everything into work she might as well throw in a little fun and get a bit of training in. She thus decided to learn a technique which allowed a ninja who was tied by rope to get out.
She placed the rope on the sink mantle as she placed her fingers on the rope and took them away as strands of chakra stuck to the rope. She slowly began to move her fingers, tying the rope into a knot and untying it, using the strands of chakra in order to move the rope to her will. She smiled at how seemingly easy it was as she took the rope and throwing it away as she felt she had learned the technique perfectly. She then got the bucket and walked outside to where all the debris was and went over to one of the closets and pulled out a broom and mop as she began to sweep the floor of crumbs of food and dead insects. She would sweep everything towards the door as she looked to make certain she was getting everything from every nook and cranny before sweeping everything into a garbage bag laying on the floor and tying it off to close off the smell of the trash that now lied within. She brought it outside before dumping it into a can that she was going to bring with her later to make certain it got disposed properly. She went back inside and grabbed the mop she had originally gotten before dipping it into the bucket of soap and water as she started to slowly and steadily mop the floor.
As she did so she thought she'd get some more training in and try to master a jutsu that she had learned some time ago and she would try to master it to the point where she wouldn't need to use hand seals anymore. She smiled as she focused her chakra within her as she mopped and worked to make it slow itself to the point of stopping which proved very hard to do as she wasn't using hand seals in order to regulate the chakra to the point of making it stop. She closed her eyes, stopping mopping for a moment, to try and focus her chakra to a stop as she found it was easier to do so now that she was standing still. Upon finally feeling her chakra coming down to a standstill she opened her eyes as she felt a warm tingly feeling travelling along her body.
"Release!" She felt her chakra flex out as she couldn't help but smile again, knowing that the jutsu had worked, as she went straight back to her work while her chakra went back to it's regular churning within her as before. She felt her work, after a long few minutes of mopping, finally starting to show as she could see the stains that used to plague the whole floor disappearing from the soap and water. She continued going through the whole floor, which was quite a lot to go through as the orphanage was quite huge, before finally coming to a stop after seeing the floor now shining by the dim sunlight from the outside. She sighed softly from the exertion she had put forth from her efforts as she stretched out her limbs and felt like patting herself on the back for a job well done. She dried off the mop as she walked back to the closet she got it from, making certain to put it back in the same spot as to where she had picked it up from, as she made her way back to her bucket and picked it back up to take it to the women's restroom and dump it slowly into one of the sinks.
She had made the entire orphanage sparkle from her work and she couldn't help but feel accomplishment as she walked back to the door and picked up the garbage bag she had left. She walked over to a dump site which was a little ways out as she threw the bag into the site and wiped her hands satisfyingly. With her mission done and her day essentially just starting she picked her bucket back up and made her way back to the Hokage manor to report her mission as a success.
