Komon Hyuuga was cruel. A cruel, cruel man.
Extended towards her was Senshi’s sword. His last legacy. Saya stared at the weapon, eyes watering but not crying. Never. Because she still couldn’t believe his death. Couldn’t accept it. Hands shaking as she reached for it, the girl was aware that she didn’t deserve it. But the moment her delicate fingers touched its sheath and they curled around it, already feeling the weight of the sword, Saya was grateful.
”I… This.” She finally turned her gaze up, bottom lip quivering. Then she cleared her throat, trying to keep herself in control.
Its length was half her body as she clutched the blade against her chest. Just as much as it was going to be reminder of her sensei and of Komon, it was a gift. A heavy one, no doubt, but a gift nonetheless. Swallowing thickly and reigning in her composure, she bowed deeply and swiftly. ”Thank you. I’ll treasure it forever.”
Straightening her back, Saya tried to lock her gaze with Komon and nodded. She wanted to convey how much this meant to her and how serious she was in receiving it.
"Please take care on your journey, and come back safely." Even though the higher ranked shinobi hadn't said it out loud, Saya was not naive. Whenever a ninja left the village, danger was always guaranteed. And Death had always been her constant companion, making sure that she wouldn't turn away from its gaze. She tried, though. If she hoped and pleaded enough, maybe it'll spare her. "We'll be waiting for you and Komori.
Especially me. Your brother still owes me two weeks of dinner, so remind him for me."

With the sword exchanged, the uchihas taken care of and their conversation over, there really wasn't much left to say. After receiving it, he could tell how much the sword would mean to the girl in front of him. She didn't need to tell him but she did.
Her next request was the one that actually surprised him. She'd plead that he and his brother return safely, but he could do little more than nod in his immediate reaction. "Alright then, I guess that's all His voice would trail as he turned his back to her, and headed for the doorway, but he'd stop just short of leaving before speaking without ever turning his back.
One final comment before he departed would leave his mouth.
"Don't worry, I have no intention of dying" His voice was soft, and reassuring. And he'd leave immediately after speaking them.
