Konoha Arrives
Wed Aug 08, 2018 8:23 pm
Led by the Hokage, the trio from Konoha had finally made it to the Land of Iron. They were now headed for their resting place. The Kaguya was not entirely sure where what was. He could only assume the Hokage knew. Instead of focusing on where he'd be resting, not that he needed it with the Land of Iron being right beside the Land of Fire, he began taking in his surroundings. There was no snow, rain, or anything of the sort falling from the sky to obstruct their vision. However, everything was left gloomy with the sun being completely blocked out but the numerous, dark grey clouds raging above. Not even the soft, clear white snow below could help brighten up the area.
Kotsuzui would continue following the Hokage, stopping if she stopped. Otherwise he followed her step for step maintain a consistent pace with her and Hikari. These were strange and unfamiliar lands to him. As a result he was on high alert. They were unlikely to say anything at this point considering how nothing was said the entire journey. To be honest the Kaguya was too focused to even think of saying anything. If he was spoken to he would answer. Otherwise he would continue his journey towards the unexpected.

They had done it. They made it safely to the Land of Iron, and were just now taking their first steps into the country. Snow covered the ground all around them, and the air had grown chilly. Hikari had been unaware of the drastic climate change between the two lands, her thin dress doing little to keep her warm. Luckily she had packed warmer clothes in her storage dimension in case something like this happened. She pulled a lavender coat out from what appeared to be thin air and wrapped the warm cloth over her cooling body. As they continued to walk, the two guards following on their kage’s heels, her core temperature slowly reverted back to normal, allowing her some comfort.
Hikari’s Byakugan had remained active the entirety of their journey so that they would be ready in case someone tried to ambush them. They were fortunate to not have that happen, and were able to enjoy a peaceful time as they traveled. Once inside the country they moved on to visit the location they would be resting for the remainder of their time in the winterland place. She didn’t care about taking a break in their rooms, but was looking forward to seeing what else this place had to offer. Whether that be the training areas or the gorgeous scenery that could draw anyone in.
The journey itself had been quiet, each person in the party focusing on their own tasks as had and could therefore not afford to become distracted by small talk. Plus they had plenty of time to converse throughout the remainder of the summit when they were allowed to discuss things.
Hikari would follow her two companions anywhere they went for she believed only the Hokage knew where they needed to go and she figured it was the best idea to just let Risako take the lead as they crossed deeper into the Land of Iron’s territory.

The muscles in Risako's jaw remained clenched as she walked through the snow, if she hadn't, her teeth would have been clacking together louder than the three of their footsteps combined. Even under the black clothing she wore over her armour, the woman could feel a chill dancing down her spine. Maybe it was a difference in environment, but the storm clouds that formed over head looked unlike the inviting grey clouds that graced Konoha's winter skies. As they continued walking, her right ear kept tugging at her attention, beckoning her to look to that way. She ignored it until she recognized the crunching sound of feet on snow, when her head finally whipped to the right. After glancing to and fro for a second, she caught site of a small white bunny as it bounded off into the woods near the town.
"S-sure is something," she said, turning her attention back to the main road. Her pace quickened just a tad as they completed their journey to the summit building. Once inside, she set her bag down in what appeared to be a lobby. If it got stolen, the only thing inside happened to be an unhealthy amount of snacks. Besides, it was marked with an FTG seal. It'd be easy to retrieve.
