Well, what now? [P]
Thu Oct 18, 2018 4:12 pm
With a heavy but not overly loud thud the sphere of chakra surrounding them would collapse and the figures inside would find themselves home again. Naoki would take but a moment breathing in the rainy mist and taking in the atmosphere of his home village before turning to Xyxer. "Well, what now?" The question was of course regarding the failure of the Summit. He wouldn't be surprised if they ended up going to war immediately. But better ask and see which way the wind was blowing today.

As she appeared once more in Kirigakure, Aryll kept quiet but listened intently for what Xyxer might say.

Hi Aryll,
You seem to have missed the latest activity check. Unfortunately that means your character is no longer available to be rped.

Hi Takeo,
You seem to have missed my away post where I state that I'll likely be gone, but may be capable of intermittent posts when I am needed. The activity check occurred in august, my away post was in march, and I've made seven posts since the AC, all of which were at Andy's request. I'm still not in a great place IRL right now, and I hadn't been active enough on the site to even know about the AC. I think it wouldn't be fair to kill off Aryll because of it, especially when the precedent has been that those who give a reasonable explanation for their absence are typically spared.
With that in mind, I'd like to request a second opinion. After that, I'll accept whatever decision is made.

Hi guys,
Due to Aryll's posting with the month of the AC, we've decided that he gets a bye this AC. In the future, we 're looking to be more strict so keep an eye out next time, buddy.

While some would regard the summit as a failure, it was quite the contrary. It had been relatively subtle, yet the positions of every village had been laid bare before the others, exposing them like bone jutting out from a snapped limb. During the meeting something deep within Xyxer had been reached, perhaps even coaxed from the recesses of his mind. He'd been the most dominant figure in a room with other leaders, the one they'd all looked to for permission or directed their words towards.. he was the strongest of the strong. The leader of leaders. A god.. among people. Naoki's words stirred him a little, yet they received a firm, neutral reply, "We prepare." The words were relatively ambiguous, but he had faith that his trusted companions understood the meaning behind them. At the summit the Leviathan had spied weakness, decay, and death.. Opportune conditions for the Mist to swallow the world.
