Kumo Document Theft

The little rats were trapped in the cell, surrounded by their predators. Hato's eyes gleamed as she stared into the eyes of the frightful genin. It was reasonable coming from them because they were just doing as their told and believed that they had potential because their leader had trust in them. However, it was pathetic seeing the same fear in the eyes of the leader. She was insulted oddly. Hato hoped that this man, who had the balls to steal from an apparent empire, would show fear in the eyes of their opponent. Hato wanted to see the might of someone who would do such a thing and she was utterly disappointed. 


"...Did you even consider what this would do to those who look up to you and follow your every move? You are putting these genin in harms way of losing everything, but I surmise you have already thought about that huh?," Kisergai asked the Aoi. Hato knew that these genin knew what they were doing, as soon as they entered the land of lightning. She actually admired them. They were willing to follow until they were caught. The woman wanted that in followers. The loyalty.
 
Suddenly, they spoke, and their motives were made clear. "They knew the consequences of coming with me as well as the reward. This mission is of the utmost importance and these files here could very well turn the tide for some very...rich clientele. Better to make ourselves rich than wait to be slaughtered. We all know what is on the horizon and how the precipice of whatever "peace" we have in this village is about to spill over. So why not take what we can and do something for ourselves?" Hato could help but smirk and shake her head. Jiro commented aloud about how dumb he thought the motive was. Hato agreed. She thought money was great and all but it was all material. What really counted out of money was the respect some got with it. Money was expendable, what mattered was your status. At least that was what Hato thought. 

Again, the leader of the group made another dumb decision. He grabs the nearest genin to him and HOLDS him hostage. Hato watches the genin's face turn from determined to fearful and confused. Hato was just as confused for the same reason Jiro pointed out aloud. It wasn't much of a hostage because the "hostage" was just an accomplice. However, she then saw what he was trying to do. The other genin watched as their insane leader took the kid and took it as a threat to them. He was using fear to keep them in order. Hato knew that people only follow in fear for a short while

Yet, the two genin leveled shinobi started to approach them with kunais drawn. Jiro stated that he'd get one while she got the other. She agreed and started to move away from Jiro to draw away the one that will face her. The one that she got was a blue haired boy who seemed to be 17 years old. Most of his face was covered with a black mask. He started to charge towards her as his partner was frozen by the genjutsu that Jiro used. Hato weaved her hands to preformed a False surroundings genjutsu. In his eyes, he'd notice a wall of thorns wrap around his area. For a moment, it fooled the genin, making him freeze in his tracks so he wouldn't run into the thorns. But then he realized that it was a genjutsu and he was able to release the jutsu. It wasn't a very strong genjutsu she had. Hato then sliced a small line across her arm with her own nail. The injury drew blood and the blood formed into a meter long blade. "I'd preferred not to get my hands dirty but you seem fun." 

He starts to charge at her with his blade in hand. Hato would also run towards him, getting ready to counter what he had. The genin starts to slash at Hato's chest but Hato would dodge off to the side, squatting down a bit so she'd be below his arms. Then seeing the opening at his chest, she'd go for an upward strike with her blood blade. The boy was quick to his feet and was able to back off enough to where he would get hit by her blade. Still having his blade in hand, the genin would go for a jab at her side. However, Hato was able to see that in time and was able to knock his wrist with her hand, forcing the kunai out of his grasp. To get an edge to the battle, Hato's eyes turned red. She was quicker now and was able to grab the wrist of the genin before he could pull it back. It seemed like the genin focused more on his speed than strength because she was now able to pull him in easily and then jump on him to force him to the ground. The force on her legs held the boy in place while she place the blood blade against his neck. "Yeild," She demands as she didn't want to kill the kid. Thankfully he does so and yields. She knocks him out with a control hit to the head. 

Hato watches as the genin Jiro was facing is knocked out from using too much charka. It was clever, Hato would give him credit for that. She ran to and began healing the genin that was stabbed, he was still alive and she was able to heal his injuries before he could bleed out. Then she watched the show down of the two jonin. It nearing the end when the missing ninja would charge towards Kis. Suddenly, the body would explode into black flames. His screamed were heard through the roaring of the flame until he was completely consumed. Kis' eyes bled from the apparent attack. Hato thought it was the strangest jutsu she had ever seen. She also noticed that the pattern in the eye had changed as well. From what she found out about Jiro is that when it changes in pattern, it changes in power. But it wasn't adding on more tomoe, it completely changed. There were still a lot to figure out about this Sharigan bloodline. It was fascinating. Kis explained that he felt strange. The fellow genin explained that that's how felt when using Kamui. This was also unfamiliar to Hato, so she just continued to listen. "So, the patterned sharingan grants unique abilities in the right eye. Perhaps both, the blood is from strain placed on the eyes. Is this a side effect of the eyes that becomes lessened with use or are there other methods?" She was confused on the consept again but it sounded like there were some eyes different from the others. She had never heard of rarities within more rarities. Jiro continues to ask questions like if he had suffered a loss lately. "Why is that relevant?" She asks Jiro, out of curiosity.  

While that was going on, the genin that had been back stabbed by his own leader was starting to wake up. "What happened? Why are you healing me?" Hato was taken out of the conversation to see the genin ask. "Oh...so we could get information out of you?" She wasn't really given the order to heal him, she kinda just did. "But you had the other two? Why not just take the-" "Did you not want to be saved?," She interrupts. "That's not what I meant...I just... Thank you..." A lot of pride was striped of him as he thanked his enemy. Hato was embarrassed and shocked. "Yeah, whatever." Hato picks up the genin and takes them over to Jiro. She didn't like how almost weak she felt for helping the enemy. She hoped it would be some good karma down the road at least.

And so it was written. Kiseragi looked to those that were still among the living, the three genin that had went along with a plot that would surely ruin any chances of being a ninja in the village. Maybe Max would be fair with them or maybe they would get the punishment they so justly deserved. Whatever should happen to them would certainly be up to the fates to decide, but for the moment he stared down at the burnt jounin. As he took what was property of the village he couldn't help but wonder how many others there would be just like this man here- Hungry and scared. He wanted more of something that he could never rightfully have in this world. A sad case of greed that would never truly come to fruition in this life or the next. The documents were slowly placed into his Haori before a curious question was asked to him about what had happened with his eyes.

A small chuckle left his lips as he shook his head and looked at the male with his amber gaze for a moment," Not just your right eye, but your left as well. The advanced abilities that come with it are taxing yes and I didn't get a fully explanation of why the eyes bleed when you use the techniques that come with them. Maybe because its just taxing on the body to use such unrefined chakra control. As far as I know there isn't a way to lessen the effects it has on you, but if i'm not mistaken I might know who does," there was only one place in all of Kumo that he knew that could possibly have the answers and it had been so long since he had last stepped foot in it.

He asked about the loss state which confused him to be honest. He never knew it to be called that since while the Sharingan was known as the Doujutsu that grew as one experienced "Emotion", he never truly tied it to something as narrow as loss. Jiro could tell that Kiseragi was in thought before he had answered Jiro's question fully," The state of our Sharingan is called the "Mangekyou" sharingan. As far as I know it is the pinnacle of our clans doujutsu as I don't have the knowledge of anything past it. As for the state of it? I suppose I've had it ever since the invasion by that tyrannical monster when he killed my master. I just...never realized it until a certain point, probably after seeing you using yours back at the compound.  None the less from what i've surmised is that there are more than just what I can do with mine and your Kamui. As for what the black flame is called, it is named Amaterasu," he would explain as they prepped the other genin to go to the jail.

He would get a first hand look at the state of Kamui as they began to enter the swirling portal to their destination and when they had arrived, he looked around and to Jiro who had been bleeding from his eye. The Mangekyou Sharingan was for sure an interesting subject that needed to be delved deeper into for certain. Maybe the old tales he had heard about his master's friend were true and in his home he held the keys to find out...or maybe he would need to pay a visit to the home of the Uchiha since old time and read from the tablet that had supposedly been the key to unlocking the sharingans true potential. Things were becoming more and more curious by the second, but he had to remember to not fall into the pursuit of power for just himself. This was something that as he looked at Jiro as he left to home. Leaving only himself and Hato there he would turn to the genin and smile," Looks like you held your own quite well Hato Sano. I look forward to seeing how you progress from here on out," the smile was brief as he turned to walk out of the jailhouse and toward the Kage's building to return what had been stolen.

His walk had been rather slow since he had a lot on his mind, the state of unrest in the village being one of them. Power was something he was told should never be wielded for the pursuit of it, but to protect. The one who had said this had walked both paths, but Kiseragi felt maybe....he needed to do the same. For that very reason he made it a goal to press the issue further about the Sharingan so that maybe one day he could unlock its full potential..and maybe he could finally do more with the power, or curse if you see it that way. It took him a few moments to get through the now waning streets of the village, many people stopping to say hi or see how he was. A simple reply of "Hello" or "Well" was all most of the villagers that knew him at least got as the Storm operative made his entrance into the Kage building and personally gave the information to the Kage's aid.

Along with the documents he gave a full report of the situation that had happened and that the genin were the only ones currently in custody. The Jounin in question had been for a better word, eliminated, due to trying an attempt on his life. With that being said, the Storm operative would leave the building and return to his home within the mountains. For tonight he will rest his body and on the morrow? He would take a visit to a place that many have not been in since the Plague monster had ruined it. As he walked he slowly began to feel the effects of using Amaterasu take hold of him, his vision shaking for only a second in his right eye as he stopped near an alley and sighed," So this is the side effect....I can only imagine what would happen with continuous use," after the wave had past he began his trek back into the mountains where he would begin to draw plans for his excursion.

Jiro and Kis's special eyes seemed to be a mystery to them both as well as Hato. There were limits to their knowledge of the abilities they possess. Thankfully, Kis's was able to explain a bit more that Jiro. "The state of our Sharingan is called the "Mangekyou" sharingan. As far as I know it is the pinnacle of our clans doujutsu as I don't have the knowledge of anything past it..."  Hato notes to herself, I've never seen a physical advancement in power like this before. Most clan abilities require just more training to able to become more powerful with them. The jonin continued "I suppose I've had it ever since the invasion by that tyrannical monster when he killed my master. Hato now knew, at least a bit, of Kis' history and the name of the technique.She noted that the Mangekyou Sharingan seemed to have unique users with different abilities attached with them. The young genin also wondered who Kis' master was and who this tyrant was. But they seemed to be leaving so it wasn't time to ask.

Hato had a hold of the genin that she had just healed. They went next to Jiro. Hato wasn't sure what to be expecting from this until the space around them began to swirl. The vampire began to realize that this was the technique he was talking about. The Mangekyou's Kamui. They were instantly transported to the jails. 

Once they appeared, guards took the genin away and got them out of Hato's hair. Jiro explained that using the technique made his vision blurry. Hato wasn't aware of the side effects. Vision loss seemed to be really risky, Jiro and Kis might have to be careful. It would be a shame to have two Uchiha go blind. Theyre an asset to the village. They're an asset to her. 

As they exited the jailhouse, Kis comments on her abilities. "Looks like you held your own quite well Hato Sano. I look forward to seeing how you progress from here on out," Hato was pleasantly surprised by his sudden praise. "Oh...thank you Kiseragi Sensei. Hopefully one of these days you can train me more." Hato winks and then heads off for her own home.
