Duty Calls [Village Exit]

Too many times Kinzoku has been on the losing side of history. The first when he lost his home in Suna, the second when he lost his home of Konoha to the rule of Kiri. Tonight was a chance for Kinzoku to earn redemption. To make up for his past makes. There was no denying it. This was personal. It was only a matter of time before this day came, a bitter sweet moment that it had to come from the help of Kirigakure. But this went beyond just Kinzoku's own ambitions. This was redemption for Konoha as well. A chance to prove they were not just a ghost in a shell. Where this village sat idly by as Sunagakure was taken over, it could now reclaim it alongside Kirigakure as allies. 

Kinzoku stood atop the Hokage's building looking down upon the village. Gathered below the night sky would be the forces of Konohagakure as he had called them here. Mingled in would be a few of its citizens, those who were not watching from rooftops or windows. This was a strange position for him to be in. One he had never believed he would ever be in to be honest. Yet here he was, needing to address a score of shinobi as they were about to head off to battle. So he would keep this as simple as he could. Sometimes going straight to the point was the best course of action.

"We march for Sunagakure tonight. We march to reclaim what belongs to us, a village we were once allied to. We will take back what was stolen from us. It is time we prove to the world that Konoha can stand alongside the greats of this world. That we are a village that deserves the fame and glory it once held." Kinzoku paused before scanning the faces of those looking up at him. "Show the world what it means to possess a Will of Fire! Show the world that we've risen from the ashes to burn down those in our way."

The Nazar would proceed to hop down from the tower to land below with his shinobi. Leading them through the village towards the main gates, Kinzoku offered everyone the opportunity to say their final goodbyes and make any last preparations that were needed. At the gates were a plethora of war horses all patiently awaiting the arrival of their rider. There were not enough horses to be given to each and every shinobi in the army thus they were offered to the higher ranking shinobi. He did make certain however that there were enough to go around so that some Genin could get their own either. As much as he was leading these shinobi, he wanted them to feel as though he were walking side by side with them into battle. After all, he was just another shinobi living in this village. Kinzoku's horse was a dark choral black as deep as the midnight sky above them. Its hair was of the same color. Yet it still possessed a certain shine to it. Climbing onto his horse, adjusting his hat, and slipping a cigar into his mouth, the Nazar lead the way out the gates and into the forest towards his former home.

Tadashi followed with all of his gear, there was no turning back. This may be the last time he sees his village.

It would seem that yet another claim for Suna was being made, a bit weird that Konoha was going to liberate their once ally when they couldn't free themselves. Kinzoku had made no mention of whether the mistys would be joining them or not but Love had a feeling they would be. From what she could tell the new kage would rather try to strike a new alliance with Kumo before actually exchanging blows. If they had Kiri backing them that'd definitely be a confidence boost possibly in the form of horses... Never the less the Hyuuga would mount a mare and exit the village.
