Learning clone technique

The sun smile so bright, it's a new day. Sakuragi was woken by the alarm that lay on a stool beside the bed.  He had a very stressful day yesterday, he spend most of the day gathering wood in the forest. It really put a lot of strain on him. It's 8am, Sakuragi got out of bed, had his bath, wore his shinobi attire and ate breakfast. It was one of his favorite meal, Ramen with boiled egg and fried chicken lap. He opened his schedule book to see what his plans were for today. He was to to learn a jutsu today, Ice release Ice clone. A technique known only to the members of Yuki members, his father  gave him a lot of lectures on this jutsu, the hand seals, chakra manipulation, maintenance and the likes. His father travelled and mom is not around, he was home alone, he was to learn the technique before his father got back. There was no deadline his father gave him, he just wanted to impress his father that he was fast at learning. Of course he was, for it was no easy task becoming a chuunin at 12 years of age. 
Now the day has just started and Sakuragi headed out for his training ground at the sea bank. On way his way, several beautiful trees were aligned diagonally in the forest and birds were flying to and fro, the nightingales were singing. It has always been a beautiful place to be for anyone passing by, luckily sakuragi was one. Truly, Nature  blessed Kirigakure. Sakuragi must pass through this forest before he reaches the sea bank.

Finally, he got to his spot, one of theOne of the largest seas in the world. Kirigakure known to be the Hidden water village is blessed by Massive water area even during drought, harsh and dry weather conditions, this doesn't affect Kirigakure.  
The sea is thousands of miles wide and very very deep, seems it's depth is immeasurable. This was one of Sakuragi spot for training, he chooses his training spot based on what Justu he is learning and this seem to be a perfect spot for an Ice jutsu, a source of water is needed if mastery will be easy.






Sakuragi got to the sea bank, water from the sea look disturbed as the wave from the sea keep coming to and fro. Sakuragi was standing 5 metres away from the edge of the sea though the wave of the water would sometimes reach where he is, he doesn't seem to be bother. “ OK let's get to business, yeahhhh Ice clone, how did papa said I do it again ” he said to himself in a low voice. He brought out his small jutsu where he has written the details of the jutsu he was gonna learn. Anytime Sakuragi learns a new jutsu or discovers a new jutsu, he writes down the details of the jutsu in this book. He finally brought out the jutsu book and glanced through it “ haha,  there it is ” he was looking for the last hand seal that completed the jutsu, he  found it. 

Sakuragi started to focus on his chakra, he sat on his legs in the sand at the sea bank. The sea bank was an empty place with only just beach sand. Sakuragi clapped his hands together focus on all the chakra on his body. 




The first step that his father told him was to to focus on his internal energy, his chakra, his surroundings and also his environment as a whole, this would allow him to greatly manipulate the chakra needed for this jutsu easily. He was still sitting on the ground as he focus on his chakra it was as if something was coming off from him. He couldn't tell a strong energy was coming out from him, it seems like his heart was being pulled out. He was sweating profusely like someone in a furnace of fire. His eyes were wide open while doing this. Suddenly, he closed his eyes, he was being distracted by the dolphins in front of him over  fifty metres away, they were about five of them and we're jumping in and out of the water.  Closing his eyes gave him better focus. 

Closed his eyes, his palms began to glow with blue aura. It seem the jutsu would be quite difficult to learn for sakuragi, most ninjas at were only able to learn an advance clone technique like the ice clone or lava clone at Jounin rank. However, he is an extremely intelligent ninja and a fast learner,  a genius who beat the class bell test while he was at the academy. Having read about Neji Hyugua, an ancestor of Konoha, Who died during the war, he decided that he wanted to be like this guy. His dressing attire was like neji, his intelligence even surpassed that of neji. Hence, he was confident that he could learn the jutsu.  

Still seated on the ground, eyes closed, palm clapped together into a seal, a purple bird came flying and sat on his ponytail hair.  At first, he wasn't aware because he was just too focus on his chakra, but then when the bird start scratching his hair with its claws, he was like “ whadd da heck??...  You asshole get off of my hair ” he said in a loud voice as he used his left arm to try beat away the bird from his hair. That poor little thing caused a bit of distraction. Again, he did the clap seal and his palm began to glow with blue chakra,  after about ten minutes of doing this without distraction, he was now gonna see how well he can manipulate his chakra to use this jutsu. He performed the hand seal for the jutsu, Bird - Dog - Tiger and yelled “Ice release Ice clone jutsu” , instantly , an exact replica started to form. An observer from distance would think that he was in pain, but actually he wasn't. Sakuragi was so joyful, full of amusement as the clone formed, however his joy was short lived when the clone was fully formed. This exact replica has the exact form and face of sakuragi, wore the exact clothes, same shinobi sandals, same position where village band was placed. The clone had no arm, had one eye and one leg, it started hop. Sakuragi watched in awe as the clone he created hopped around, fell and broke down to ice . It was a pretty bad one but he's one step closer, he needs to just spend with the jutsu and sooner or later he learn it.  Sakuragi was however impressed with his result so far, he was now gonna do for again hoping to get a better result this time.

The previous ice clone was a good try but wasn't good enough. Creating something like that won't help in battle, so he needs to perfect the jutsu. He will be needing a lot of time and energy. Time is money they said, but time isn't money If you don't invest it wisely. Here is sakuragi training hard to learn a new technique. It would be his favorite if he successfully learns it. He would give it a second trial, as he performed the jutsu again, focused on the chakraeon his body, Ice began to grow out of his body to an exact copy of sakuragi. The clone created stood beside sakuragi, without arms but two legs and this time no eyes. This disfigured the clone. The clone suddenly fell and crumble back to ice as sakuragi looked at the fallen and crumbled ice in despair. He had no fear, but somehow he was gonna learn this jutsu. 

He formed the handseal again, this time ice grew out of his body  faster , the ice formed completely without  defect. This time he may have an exact copy of sakuragi with all bodily features and traits. The clone stood by his side he wanted to create more clone, it would help him in combat. Clone can be used for a lot of things, for distractions and the likes.  For someone who likes to fight at long range,  he could just create two clones and fight at distance. Keeping several distance away from his opponent his clone could fight at close range with his opponent while he could just observe at long distance range. He was preparing hard for the time, his father would return. He needed to win the friendly battle with his dad.  Father who travelled some weeks ago would be back day after tomorrow.  Learning this would help though his dad already knew the jutsu and even he gave him every details of the jutsu he was now training for.

He wanted to create more clones at least,  he can't create many clones hence he runs out of chakra, Jinchuriki are known to be able to produce several clones up to thousands  of clones. But sakuragi wasn't a jinchuriki. He performed Hand seals for the jutsu and instantly ice grew from his body to form two ice clones with no defect, one couldn't different between a clone and The real one except for those with special dojutsu like byakugan. It seems sakuragi couldn't create more than two at a time or he would overwork himself. People have died using clone techniques, because creating many will Make them share their chakra between many copies. 
Sakuragi was satisfied with his outcome so far, he has successfully created two ice clones, he now has to perfect the jutsu and his manipulation.

This time he did it perfectly with no flaws, the breeze blew very fast, the clones had very cold body temperature. It wasn't even noon yet. Suddenly he remembered his father told him this Clones could  also be created from a water source. The first type he did was created from his own body, that could be used if there's  no water source . He could even use that in the desert as it seems the jutsu uses the sweat and and water in his body. However this second one require a water source, the user create Clones from a water source and luckily for sakuragi, he was few meters away from the sea, an excessive water source.

Having a water source doesn't mean easy mastery, sakuragi needs complete focus, on the water,  on the surrounding and the his chakra. He formed the handseal, this time he yelled ice release ice clones” pressing his palm together tightly. He looked at the water expecting to see it rise up, harden to ice and become ice clones . Instead, it only bubbled. Now, there are two ways to use this jutsu, Ice release Ice clone,  the first is by growing ice out of his body to create the ice clone, he had perfectly mastered this it seemed. The second way is to use it through a water source which is exactly the situation here. None is more difficult than the other. They have same hand seals but it seems chakra manipulation would be different. 

He doesn't look too frustrated, night would soon come and day would be over, there seem to be plenty of time as it is not even noon yet. Sakuragi did the handseals again, the water harden five metres away from him harden into Ice, rose up and began to form into a clone. Upon completion, the ice dissolved back into the water. Sakuragi was five metres away from the sea which was million metres deep.  He walked to the edge of the sea such that he was one metre away from the sea. Maybe if he got closer enough to the water source he would be successful this time, he thought. He performed the hand seal yet again and instantly an Ice clone was formed. Had no defect, exact resemblance with Sakuragi as one couldn't different between sakuragi and the clones. This time using it through a water source, he didn't make the mistake of creating a clone with legs and no arm or without legs or eyes and so on, probably because he was at the edge of mastery.  Now the clone was formed, he wasn't satisfied, he wanted to create two. He formed the seals again, and cha cha cha,  Ice was formed from the water that rose up and formed two ice clones.  

Seeing he had mastered the ice clone technique  he was so happy like he just won lotto.  He had used up a lot of chakra, tho he still has his reserved chakra.  He felt a pain in his lower abdomen, a lot of strain on him.  He needed rest, he seemed that he overworked himself, creating such powerful clones multiple times. He wouldn't do a thing today again other than eat  rest and sleep. He was gonna rest at home and wasn't gonna do anymore thing today. He picked up his ninja bag and headed towards Home. 
On his way back, he had to pass through these beautiful trees. Dry  ,old but beautiful, it's the home of birds in Kiri. The home of game reserve and get hunting. Sakuragi walked past the forest and reached .First thing, he went to take a shower, prepared lunch and ate then the went to the bedroom .
