Yoi was on the borders of Fire Country, continuing to travel with his friends. As he walked, he said, "Hey, you guys have anything you wanna learn for the Chunnin Exams that I can teach you?"

[12 hour timer to travel to Tea Country starting]

As the three walked on their path to the land of tea Kizaru took in the scenery. He remembered many of the roads they walked as his family often traveled them while selling their wares. His companions shared knowledge of jutsu and trained quite impressively. Kizaru however spent most of the trip sketching new puppet designs and playing with Kimchi.

The little monkey particularly loved hanging on to his Mochi puppet while Kizaru flew it around. He couldn't help but laugh when he saw how happy it made his little buddy. His other puppet, Alucard, on the other hand seemed to fail at scaring the Tamarin. Kimchi was completely unfazed by its creepy looks. He even ran up the sleeve of the puppet like he did when they first met. Kizaru wondered if it was because the puppet smelled like him.

He decided to sketch up designs for a new puppet in the times where they rested. He needed to improve his craft if he was going to participate in the upcoming chunnin exams. He had an idea while watching Yoi and Chuta train. Chuta was faster than Kizaru and would be hard to keep up with if he were to face him in the exams. He would make some kind of mechanism that would increase his puppet's speed. If that wouldnt be enough he had a spark of inspiration when he saw Kimchi get tripped up while walking on a tree that was shook with his companions' wind training. It inspired him to use that shaking motion to his advantage. A large piston striking the ground hard enough could create that effect anywhere, he figured.

His ideas flowed and he burned through almost a whole notebook with sketch designs. He finally landed on solid designs for both of his new mechanism ideas. Now he just needed to design a puppet to attach them to.

[Chuta continues to travel: Timer reset]

"Well, now that you mention it, could teach me how to use the wind element?" Chuta asked his fiend. He looked forward to the new techniques he could learn and how it would further his mission as a ninja. Further his skills in order to take down the person who killed his uncle. The dragon inside was quieter now, less hungry for blood, though he wasn't sure how long meditation would help. Wasn't sure how long till the need would overpower him.
