'Riot' at the Gates

The morning light shined over Itsumi’s eyes as she rolled over lazily, pushing her wild white hair out of her face which had covered her like a mini blanket in her sleep. Sighing she stretched her shoulders, working her way down until she finally came into a sitting position and rubbed her eyes heavily, today was going to be another long day. Swinging her legs over the bed she winced as they hit the cold floor jolting her awake further, she stood up finally after a moment or two and headed down stairs. Her empty house echoing as her footsteps hit each step, the sound putting a deep feeling of loneliness for a split second before she pushed it aside and started her day; ate some plain rice, got dressed, ran a brush pointlessly through her mane of hair, and headed for the door.
Her performance as a Genin thus far has been pitiful to say the least, after her fathers’ passing and her mothers’ departure to her home village Itsumi found herself in what most professionals would consider a depressive state, any of the missions she would do her ryo went completely to Ichiraku Ramen or drink that she usually kept on her person. With the chuunin exams coming up again, and the flood of younger-than-her talent surging into the village, she couldn’t help but wish to step up her game. Finally ready, she stepped outside into the now bright morning, needing not to lock her door since she had nothing of importance past what was on her person, she turned to the road and headed to get her job for the day. - After awhile she ended up at the office, waiting patiently in line until finally reaching the head of the line and given a scroll unceremoniously, stepping out of line to lean against a wall she read her task.
“A group of teenagers are armed and possibly dangerous, charging the gate creating problems and causing damage. Stop the impromptu riot with no damage to the rioters bringing them to the secure holding facility.” Dropping her hands, the scroll falling open against her thigh she sighed, Of course...what is it about younger people causing problems for no good reason. Pushing herself off the wall she was leaning on she rolled the scroll up, fixing it on her belt and heading for the gate. It took no time for her to reach the gate, in fact the yelling and general angry discourse reached her ears before she could see the group, If you could call that a group, she thought sarcastically to herself, noting the ‘group’ consisted of 4 teenagers; two of which carrying bats while the other two seemed largely unarmed from what she could tell. She roamed her eyes around the surrounding area to see any vantage points to create a game plan for how she would approach them without open conflict. If Itsumi had her way she would go right up to them, take the bat out of the biggest brutes hands and whack him across the shins, exclaiming loudly that their mother didn’t raise them to be such hooligans, but she was a professional now and playground rules didn’t apply to her anymore.
Smirking at her internal dialogue she spotted a part of the wall that was well covered by an overhanging tree that she could observe the group without being noticed. Skirting around their vantage point she made it to the wall, climbed it easily and sat, pulling her knees into comfortable cross legged position she began to plan, eyes roving over their movements seeing if there any method to their madness.
