Corpse Removal {D - Mission}
Sat Feb 29, 2020 5:07 am
Mission 5
The womanly figure laid lifeless upon the concrete stone. Copper hair spread freely from a decapitated head that rested a few feet from a headless body. The coppery strands shone beautifully within the warm wash of the sun, but the lovely locks was stained with dark crimson. The corpse's complexion was ashy and void of any warmth. Aroma couldn't help by gaze unmoving into the dead girl's blue eyes. The wide sapphire irises stared out blankly; empty. This woman would no longer utter a single breath within the existence of this world. Her corpse will only rot now, and be feasted upon by the worms if not removed soon. Which was now Aroma's job to do. Her striking violet eyes shifted away from the woman's head and towards her bloodied body. There was no recognition that sparked; but what about the sympathy? Why did this lavender kunoichi hold no sense of despair in the presence of this brutal scene? Most would at least feel something for the torn spirit who's punishment was trailed to death. This woman could have been a mother to children, who would now grow up without her guiding arms. But still Aroma was lacking in such soft emotion. The only reaction she gave was silence and a small wiggle of her nose, as the stench of the blood still held strongly within the air. Musky. . . coppery smell. . mixed with the putrid smell of decay and released gases of corrupted waste.
The light clucking of Aroma's boots soon turned into disturbing sticky steps as she approached the dead body. Her boots was now moving within the pooling of crimson essence, that seemed to have spilt from the woman. Each step was sickening and no doubt would cause a normal person to gag in disgust, if not the smell alone. She dropped the body bag from her shoulders, taking care that it landed outside the pool of blood. Then proceeded to put on some temporary gloves before handling the mess. Was it odd that the Viperis didn't feel anything at all when she worked to pack the corpse into the body bag? The creaking stiff of the joints sounded loudly as Aroma transported the lifeless woman from the cold ground underneath. No. . . this type of job didn't bother her at all, except for the fact that she disliked getting her hands dirty.
Throughout her years of training during her young childhood, Aroma had learned many things and adjusted to her new way of life at an early age. It made a ninja's life easier if they was numb to feeling despair. That emotion was merely a burden and didn't contribute to becoming stronger. It only was a weakness. If a ninja had to pause and cry everytime they saw a dead person, then it would look weak. They would become hesitant in the most dire situations, which could result into them losing their life as well. There was just no good reason in keeping such emotion. And not only was Aroma a ninja, but she was also forged to become a Viperis. The clan that mastered the arts of assassination. Stealth. . . agility. . and unreadable. An assassin can't feel sorry each time they pump poison into some forsaken individuals system. The job was made easier if you learn soon to except death upon another and just see it as a way of live. Don't trouble yourself with feeling empathy and you'll thank yourself later on, after experiencing the true harshness and brutality of this world. No Aroma wasn't completely a Viperis yet. She still had much to learn in the concepts of a skilled assassin, but she had the works of depriving herself of much emotion in check.
Half an hour has passed and the lavender woman had finished delivering the corpse, decapitated head and all, to the mortuary. The only thing left to do was return to the sick smelling area and clean up the gore. They wanted the place spic and span, as if there was never an execution taken place there. This would call for alot of mopping and possibly some sanitary solution. Aroma returned to the crimson sight with a wooden broom grasped within her fingers and a slight look of distaste of what was to follow next. She dropped the wet mop into the pool of thick inky blood. It moved about like sticky slimey goop as the woman proceeded to mop up the aging blood. Frequently having to submerge the dirty mop into a bucket of sanitary cleaning solution diluted with water. Watching as the mop instantly colored the bucket solution into an eerie scarlet shade. No doubt that it would take her numerous trips of dumping the blood tainted water and refilling it with fresh clean solution, before the concrete would be completely clean and absent of the bloody scene that had once took place. As she worked, the putrid smell faded until it no longer existed as the mess slowly disappeared into the bucket. Aroma didn't mind jobs like these just as long as she was allowed to wear gloves. To be honest she would chose this sort of mission over the ones that had her in the presence of children, which was alot of the e rank missions offered in Kumogakure. Aroma could definitely handle dead bodies alot better than loud children. But none the less this current mission was completed, as the kunoichi discarded the blood water from the cleaning bucket one last time. The concrete was no longer stained with the color of crimson or held the stench of decay. No one would be able to know that there had just been a dead corpse laying upon that ground, decapitated and rotting, just a few hours ago. It was time for the Viperis to turn in her mission and continue her day in the relaxation of her home. Proceeding her day as if there was never a dead corpse of a headless woman in which she started at moments ago. |END|
