As he was leaping backward Wan picks up on a small amount of chakra coming from above, towards where he was initially keeping a close watch for the man and his other clone. He notices a Kunai coming at him full speed, with a tag attached that would more than likely be an explosive tag. He wouldn't have much time to react, even with both him and his clone now focused on the Kunai. As he is in the air Wan immediately closes his eyes and expands his soul using Soul Expulsion, quickening his actions while enhancing his chakra as he forms a kunai with a branch from his body and flings it directly at the Kunai coming at him, canceling it out as it meets the much faster kunai 3/4ths of the way to him, just a few meters before it would've made contact with him. The blades both go opposite directions, the man's going further and sticking into the walls of the arena due to how much faster and stronger he had thrown it. The sneak attack threw Wan off, and as he leaped he realized he was leaning too far back. Looking over his shoulders as he realizes he'll soon go over the edge of the platform, he turns his body and swallows while looking at the 10-meter drop, chakra swaying itself into water as he begins to expels a great volume of water from their mouth, swallowing up the floor of the dojo the platform stood on before he hit the ground. The water soon rises roughly 10 meters in all directions, covering the platform above with enough water to cover the feet of his clone and the man just half-way. As the water filled the room, Wan swims along the surface of it underneath the platform and finds a small gap of air between some ridges and groves near the center of the platform, lowering his chakra as he begins communicating with his clone on what's going on. He'd take time to quickly weave signs for another clone, his new clone joining him underneath the platform from view as his new clone came out with knowledge to begin weaving the signs for Rain Tiger At Will. 

The clone stood in his current position as water slightly rose under his feet, covering half his shoe as the jutsu used by Wan floored the entirety of the area beneath the platform. Both Wan's Clone and the man now stood in a small puddle of water that overlapped the platform now, the water surrounding them between the 20-meter arena now looking like a moat of some sort. The clone lets the real Wan know that none of the people up there with him have moved, the clone still standing in front of him with the two men up at top looking down from where they threw the Kunai, and the Kunai still being stuck in the wall At least 10 meters behind him. Wan's Clone does half a tiger seal, causing a multitude of needles to form at the base of the man in front of him's feet. The clone felt as if he needed to do something to at least buy Wan some time while he came up with another plan. After performing the half-tiger seal the thousand needles of death would fly up the body of the man with haste and impale him in multiple areas, targeting any vitals they can while ultimately causing harm from the nearly undodgeable attack. The attack came from such close distance the clone felt as if the man had no time to react, killing this bastard who wants Wan to prove his will to live so badly. 

By this time, if all has gone according to plan, Wan's second clone beside him would have finished weaving the signs for Rain Tiger at Will Technique by now. The sky would darken and the clouds would start raining in the small arena, while Wan and the clone remained underneath the platform hidden. Wan himself would use only the Tiger sign to fill the entire 20-meter arena with a dense mist provided by the Hidden Mist Technique. The mist was so thick that not even he could see through it. With the rain falling, he was able to extend his senses to the drops, being able to detect what was around him with it. His clones were not able of doing so since he was the one using the technique, but this didn't mean he couldn't communicate with them still. Wan's clone would move from underneath the platform just slightly, only enough to poke his hand out to allow some rain to touch him. His body would begin to be cloaked by the rain. Using his disguise and the sound of the rain hitting the water to his advantage, he'd sneak up behind the edge behind the man, swimming slowly from underneath the small gap of air. While behind the man, under the cover of the Hidden Mist and Rain, he'd use a ram sign, spewing forth an even greater amount of water with Great Exploding Colliding Wave, this time a 20-meter wave traveling 25 meters in all directions. The man's focus would by now either be on the Mist that just formed, the rain that was suddenly pouring down, or trying to dodge the needles coming up with fatal intentions from the ground. If everything went to plan, he'd hit the man with the jutsu to the back, the edge being roughly 5 meters from where the man stood and would also hit Wan's clone, it being aware of the attack via them communicating mentally. The sheer amount of water would most likely flood the entirety of the arena. Wan himself would flicker to the surface of the water once everything happened.

Boom. The water came crashing over the man and Wan's clone, the hidden mist providing additional coverage to the already flooded area as the water filled the entirety of the arena, sinking all who were caught in it. The power of the wave was fierce, definitely causing any normal clone to disperse, and was a successful attempt at evening the playing fields. While under the cover of the Hidden Mist Jutsu, Wan would hold his breath underwater, his body suddenly dispersing with the water around him as he uses his Hiding in The Water Technique. This man wanted him to fight for his life, and he felt as if he had proved his right to live. Now, all Wan wanted to do was make it out of there, hoping that the man would respect their fight and the Senju would be able to lose him during the two distractions. As the water overflowed the walls of the arena, Wan would travel with it while hidden amongst it, allowing the water to take him meters upon meters from the arena until he was in the woods. This man he fought was very strong, seeming to be a Senju as he could use wood style just as Wan could. You win some, and you lose some, but hopefully, he'd live to fight another day. Before all the water would disperse and cause his jutsu to cancel, he'd use his Hiding In A Mole Technique, taking to the earth below as he continues moving far away from the Arena, his life still grasped as he knows eventually the man will realize he is gone.
