Mission


The day's glimmerous sun was shining high above during the early start of the morning. Flashing it's warming rays through the outdoors of Hoshigakure.

Rem bounced through the front door of her home, dressed in a simple attire of shorts and a tank top for today's agenda.

She was given an easy mission

Within her possession was an almighty watering can, along with some handy shears.

These was all that she needed for her mission. Her objective was to care for the splendid plants that decorated the outskirts of both the gates and fencing of her beloved village.

The thought of caring for plants, reminded her briefly of the day Akaboshi had given her a rose as a gift.

A simple smile shown upon her lips, just before she began heading towards the location of the closest plants.

As she walked within the correct direction, Rem admired her surroundings. She really desired to put some time into training, maybe she could work towards that next?

If wasn't long until her roseate eyes spotted the green cactus that dotted at the described location. There was a few other flora that accompanied the spiney plants, that held a lovely violet blossom on top. Almost resembling a hat.

She approached closer to the plants. The cool water that filled the watering can. sloshed softly against it's metal walls. Rem tilted the can forward, sprinkling and dousing the desert plants with the water they was required.

The sprinkles gave the plants a dazzling sparkle that reflected off of the sun.

The atmosphere seemed quite humid, as Rem continued her duty with giving care to the village's plants. It was a simple task. Something that had the small kunoichi itching for something more. . . exhilarating.

She gave what water the plants needed, to quince their thirst and hydrate, as well as gave what ever trimming that she felt needed to be done.

Discarding of the dead ends, that only brought the plant down.

It was kind of a dark realization. When a part of the plant grew weak, it became a burden that needed to be cut off.

Since it then required too much energy that burdened the rest of the plant.

If you became weak within the world of shinobi. You too could be seen as a link of burden. A team around you would have to try harder, and put in more effort to make up for your lack of strength.

Which in turn, endangered the rest.

Meaning that the team would be better off without the burden in general.

Rem should make sure that she never became such a burden, and if she did, then she would be sure that she fought alone.

She doesn't want to become anyone's burden. Especially not Akaboshi's.

The watering can was now empty, as she finished the last row of plants that needed watered. She let out sigh, before allowing the can collapse at her feet.

There was still plenty that needed to be done, but she was nearing to the end of her task.

There was a few plants that seemed to be in an awkward position. She couldn't allow the one's in unfit placement. continue to be.

With this Rem took the time to replant what she felt needed to be replanted. Moving them somewhat closer to the cluster.

Her hands worked with the soil. Cuping and shaping until she was satisfied with her task.

Carefully unplanting to replant where she thought was more safe.

There was a few times that a cactus would still prick her, despite having on thick gloves for safety. Yet Remincise didn't mind the sudden pain that followed.

A few cuts on her arms, but nothing more.

The day was growing warmer, as time continued to tick by. The trickle of the sunlight seemed to grow heavier, and brighter.

Reminisce could tell that she was getting near to the end of her task. She finished replanting any plants that was in any endangerment of poor conditions.

Raising to her feet as the kunoichi viewed her growing process. Her rosette orbs examining the beautiful display.

She gave a simple nod in approval, before following with a soft smile. Brushing her hands against the fabrics of her basic clothing. Dusting off the remaining particles of dirt from her fingers.

Now it was time to discard the trimmings and get them out of the way. There was no need in leaving them out like dead litter.

It only took her a few moments to clean up and get rid of the trimmings and dead ends.

The pink haired kunoichi took the time to admire her handy work. Using what spare time she had left, to take a few steps back and examine.

The floral desert garden really did bring light to the village.

Giving off a gorgeous few for the inhabitants and any visiting guests.

Reminisce wandered to herself, whether or not any other places took the time to compliment their surroundings like this

And if they did, how did they go by doing so.

She could only imagine the amount of floral that she had yet to witness with her rosette eyes.

Reminisce was pleased by her work. The plants seemed even more beautiful than before. It was a surprise on how little could go such a long ways.

Now it would be about time to turn in her mission, and collect payment. This was only the beginning of what duties awaited her, and far difficult tasks that she was so eager to encounter.

The kunoichi gathered up her supplies before heading over to turn in her mission.

Giving one last glance to one of the blooming cactuses.

The trip to the mission board was a quick one, especially since the lass was done and ready for a nice shower to cleanse the dirt and itchy prickles from some of the spiney plants.

The mission was received to the board, and the reward awaited.

At the end of the day, Reminisce would be sure to put back the supplies she used today, and take care to refresh herself.
