The third mission dealing with metal and her eighth in total would this time deal with the substance known as aluminium which was quite useful for conducting things as well as other small applications that proved to make the thing valuable despite how fragile it was compared to the other ore that she had harvested before. This mission was said to be different however and the shinobi did not quite know what to expect, or what was meant by locating the aluminium since the previous two times the metal in question was apparent and obvious. Instead of going to the mine this time it seemed that she would go to some science facility instead, not one to question things and believing that this would be less boring then her last mission Mikofujo pondered what to wear for her ninth mission. 

Deciding ultimately that her flowing dark purple gi would be an acceptable choice for the attire on that day, she also wore obsidian velvet gloves that matched her hair and wore purple lip gloss along with the same shade of eye shadow and cattails to complete her semi-professional look. Mikofujo assumed the facility would be a place unlike the other mission locations that had been filled more with laborers but also remembered to bring her gloves in case she had to interact with any chemicals while completing her tasks. It was odd considering how she had partook in missions that seemed like normal every day jobs up until now, but she did not mind taking a slow and steady pace so she set the feelings aside as she left her house to find this doctor that she was set to meet up with for the mission in question.

Doctor Ewagifijimoru was said to be a reclusive and eccentric type so she was supposed to gather instructions from the clerk at the front desk for directions to get to his office which was said to be slightly hidden in the facility. As such Miko would have to steel herself to wade through the tribulation that was socializing with a stranger, to become hardened in the forge of adversity the ninja would have to strive up to that wooden podium and converse with the master of it. A monolith of a boss battle that loomed far above the kunochi who had to scramble to scoop up every possible nerve for the dire fight ahead of her on this day. Why it would truly be an epic for the ages, spoke about in hushed tones in taverns as the most majestic battle of all time!

The whole thing was overtly hyped up in her head like usual, and getting the necessary information did not take a long time thus freeing her up to start her search for the recluse's office. It was said to actually be hidden in the basement past the janitors closet and the storage rooms, so the ninja descended the main stair case and made her way down into the underground yet again for another mineral adventure. Like the others, Mikofujo had a feeling that it would be one of the more enjoyable endeavors she had gone on yet. Nine was her lucky number after all.

Doctor Ewagifijimoru was housed behind a simple enough looking door that was exactly the same as the room to the janitors closet aside from the location and the plaque indicating who dwelt inside the room. Knocking on the door twice, an elderly female voice compelled her to come in and as such the kunochi opened the door slowly as she scanned the room. 

It was messy, very messy. Filled to the brim with books and papers that seemed like notes that were not organized under any reasoning that Miko could ascertain. She made sure to hide her shock before it spread to her face thanks to her training of hiding her emotions as a child before they could get her into any sort of trouble, as trouble was a harsh thing to get into for her younger self. As such she avoided potentially offending the doctor who, while her hair was just as messy, kept a meticulously clean desk and had an untarnished white lab coat. Her face while etched with wrinkles of concern was overall a kind one which allowed the ninja to lower her guard rather quickly as the two spoke.

It turned out that the Doctor was working on a device that could find the aluminium through quite a bit of earth and rock, so the two set out for the mine for some in person testing in a spot that was known for it's abundance of aluminium but had been mined where it was easy to access. It was something that should help facilitate the testing of the equipment and so the two brought the rather hefty device down the elevator with them. It was the third time for the kunochi on the metal serpent that dove into the earth and by now she had almost developed a fondness for it like someone would a stray dog that sometime showed up to your door, even though it was just some man made device with no emotions what so ever. 

They used the mine's rail track system to their advantage to roll the rather heavy machine to their destination without too much of a sweat or taking too much time in the day, allowing the duo to roll out their tests in haste to take advantage of the time they had left. While it did take a few attempts, and some calibration, thanks to her basic academy jutsu Mikofujo was able to confirm that the device worked, even if it seemed the range of it still needed some work done. Doctor Ewagifijimoru thanked the ninja in genuine earnest and brought some warmth to her heart with her praise and acceptance. The two ladies shared a laugh before the puppeteer departed from the Doctor's lab in the basement of the Science Facility, and Miko knew that she had made a friend even it ended up just being in passing.
