Kurayami had been doing high rank mission after high rank mission, so he decided that today he was going to just go straight to the training grounds and take it easy on the missions for a while. He was already up and out of his bed, but now it was time for him to get ready for the day and most importantly, put on the full suit of armor that was waiting for him by the front door. He rinsed his hair thoroughly and splashed some cold water on his face, this allowed his body to wake up fully. After drying off, he went into the bedroom and he put on some clothes that he was going to wear underneath the armor.
He left his bedroom and he went into the kitchen so he could make himself some breakfast, making sure that he had plenty of fuel to get himself through the morning and possibly through part of the afternoon before he was going to be able to eat again. He threw together a quick breakfast and he sat down on the couch so he could scarf it down. When he was done eating his breakfast, he put his dishes in the sink and he went over to the front door to put his armor and weaponry on.
He started with his full suit of armor, ensuring that the armor was all situated before placing his sword on the right side of his hip, and his quiver of arrows on the left side of his hip. He grabbed his bow and threw it over his shoulder and immediately headed out the door. As he walked down the steps heading to the main road of the village so he could go to the training grounds, he was accosted by a woman who seemed to be in a panic.
She began screaming hysterically how her cat wouldn't come back and that she was terrified for it's safety. The Shinkou simply looked at her with a look of disinterest, but he remembered that it was the smallest of jobs that made the village work so efficiently, so he didn't turn her down in her time of need. He asked her to show him the last place that she had seen the cat, to which she obliged. She showed him the cat tree that she said her cat would always lounge around on, but the cat hadn't returned since the night before.
The Shinkou simply listened for the cat's meow, and almost immediately he heard it. He saw that there was a door to the side of the cat tree, with obvious damage to the flooring below the door. It looked like a cat may have been scratching from the other side of the door. With a quick laugh, he walked over to the door and he slowly opened it. As soon as the door was open just a crack, the very cat in question sprinted through the cat and leaped up into it's owners arms. The woman thanked Kurayami and handed him a reward for his help, to which the Shinkou accepted and gladly began walking over to the training grounds for a good day's work.
