Mission: Photo OP Protege [E-Rank]

Photo OP Protege
Sukotto took a look at the mission he had been given and was at a loss. Many of his missions to date had been menial tasks that didn't quite suit a shinobi, but this one was on a whole nother level. He had to help a photographer take family photos. Sure he was just the help and wasn't actually taking the photos, but he didn't know a damn thing about photography, hell he didn't know a damn thing about family. This was as far away from his knowledge and skill sets as something could be. This mission might as well have asked him to learn to fly for how prepared he was. In the end, it was the mission he had been given, so he would figure out some way to do it. Hopefully he wouldn't bring too much shame to the other shinobi of Sunagakure in the process.
He arrived at a small building which was where the photos would be taken. At least he wasn't going to be out in the heat. Entering the building he removed his hat and waved at the man he assumed was the photographer. "Hi, I came to assist with the family photos today." He paused briefly before realizing he hadn't introduced himself. "Oh, names Sukotto."
The photographer acknowledged him with a nod and continued to fiddle with his camera. He then spoke briskly, "Sukotto, grab that lamp and move it over to that corner. Then bring those three white boxes and put them in front of the camera. The largest in the center, the other two to it's right and left facing slightly inward."
Sukotto was a bit surprised at the lack of introduction, and immediate instructions, but he did as he was directed. As he placed the last box, the photographer glanced his direction. "Not like that." He immediately walked over and adjusted the two smaller boxes, changing the angle they were facing by about ten degrees. He then pointed to a large board with a poster on it, "Place that three meters behind the the boxes, facing the camera." Once again, he quickly did as instructed, this time without any kind of reprimand.
As he finished, a young couple carrying a small child stepped into the office. They were nicely dressed in matching colors, but they appeared rather flustered. Not moments after stepping into the office, the little girl yelled no, and threw her hat on the ground. From the bits of sand that fell off of it in the process, he had a feeling she had been doing that outside as well. Her mother reached down and picked it up as the father who held the girl tried to calm her down.
The photographer was all smiles as he greeted them, showing none of the brisk attitude he had with Sukotto. "Welcome to Suna Family Photography. Who is this little one?" He smiled at the little girl and pulled a giraffe stuffed animal out of seemingly nowhere. The family introduced themselves and the child seemed to have completely forgotten she was upset as she held the giraffe. Before long he had gotten everyone situated. The father sat on the largest box, his daughter in his lap, one foot on the smallest of the boxes. His wife sat on the other box, leaning against him, her face just slightly above the height of the daughters.
From behind the camera, Sukotto heard his name and headed over to him. He then spent the rest of the photo shoot, moving lights around to adjust the lighting in the photos, changing backgrounds, and once removing the boxes entirely so that the family was standing in the shots. It wasn't hard work, but it was a bit stressful as the photographer was very particular about everything.
Eventually it was done, and the family left. Sukotto thought he would finally get a chance to take a breath when another family came in, this one with a tiny dog. Sukotto was sent to brush the dog and try to get any sand out of his fur, while the family got set up. Once finished he took the dog back and handed it to the man who seemed resigned to hold it while he posed for pictures. Once again Sukotto moved around lights, adjusted backgrounds, and moved a few props in and out until the photoshoot was over.
This continued for two more families before he was asked to put things away. He put the lights away, moved all of the props back to where they had originally been and then moved the board with the different backgrounds back to its original location. As he finished he turned to see the photographer staring at him, all the smiles and warmness he had shown to his customers having been leached from his face. "Good work." Turning, he walked into the back room and didn't come back.
Sukotto stared after him for a minute before deciding he wasn't coming back."Well that was interesting. At least he did all the interacting with the families." Shrugging at the abrupt end to his mission he grabbed his hat and headed to report its completion.
