Enrai was currently traveling, he had a small sack full of food, water, and a survival knife on him, and was making his way towards another village. He was unsure where he was going, but he knew that he was going in the general direction of the sand village, and so he was not putting much stock in hurrying up and he was not worried about where he was going. He simply wanted to keep going towards the village that was rumored to accept missing ninjas as long as they did not find any trouble, and this was a good goal. Enrai liked traveling in the evenings, because it was much less hot and he was heading towards an area that was known for its great deserts and heat, so it was getting quite hot even though he was in a forested area. The forested area had plenty of shade, so the walk was not entirely terrible, and soon Enrai found a small stream and headed over. He looked a bit up the stream to make sure he was not drinking from some sortr of animal toilet, which was the most common way people got sick and died out in the wilderness, because the water would give them diarhrea which would dehydrate them terribly, cna being dehydrated in the wilderness was deadly. He also wanted to save all of his water bottles he had in his bag so that he could travel the desert towards the sand village, He needed bottled water to get through the desert, there would not be very many places where he could stock up on water once he got to the desert. As he was filling up his water containers, his ears suddenly perked up from a twig broken near him, and so he whipped around, holding his knife out towards the figure. The man noticed the hostile intent and held his hand up in front of him. He seemingly thought that this was some sort of person waiting for him, and the man told him that he simply needed to get by, and that he would pay Enrai one thousand ryop if he would just turn the other way and pretend that they did not see each other. Enrai was confused, and noticed that the man was clutching some sort of package to his chest as if it was his own child, but it was just a box covered in paper. Enrai was curious, and the man noticed that he was looking at the box, and immediately took otu the thousand ryo so that he would be assured, and told Enrai to take it. Enrai took the ryo and nodded to the man, smiling, telling him to have a nice day and that he was a stranger. The figure then quickly started walking away, took a quick look over his shoulder to make sure Enrai was not following him, and then disappeared in the underbrush. Enrai shrugged when he was alone again, starting to refill his bottles, when he saw a group of people sprinting towards the location the figure left.
