Timmy did WHAT in the Well??!!

Walking down the street with a corndog in his hand, Enrai started to head through the streets towards a well on the south side of the village. He had stated in his message that they needed to start doing these missions, since they were not really members of the village, meaning they would eventually leave the village so they would not be able to do these free missions again. It was a pretty good idea to do so while they could, it was essentially free money from the village. Enrai was munching on his corn dog as he met up with the other people that were supposed to be on the mission, and so he greeted Shin when he got there, mouth half full with corn dog. 

“Heya Shin, howsit goin?” Enrai would call out to him, before swallowing the food and walking over there. They were pretty close to the well at the moment, so Enrai decided to go over to it. He continued eating his corn dog as he looked into the well, and saw only his own reflection. The sun was pretty high in the sky, but it was at a pretty good position to where it wasn’t going to simply reflect the full power of the sun into his eyes. After looking at the water for a moment, he would turn back to Shin and Hoori, if he was there at the moment. “Well, I can say with absolute certainty that the water doesn’t look poisoned.” he would say, before grinning towards them.

The morning had been a little easy going for Hoori as he sat in the window of the inn he had still been staying at, someone had been in his bed but he wasn't too concerned with that right now. He remember being told that there was a mission he would be doing with Shin to look at a water hole not too far from here. It was a little out of the norm for the work they did, but he wasn't complaining when there was money to be made. Looking back to the bed once more he would grab a sheet of paper and a pen to jot down a quick note before going out of the window with his normal clothing on and his bow and quiver. He knew that Shin would be the first there, the man was overtly on time to the point where he was the most punctual assassin he knew the pleasure of knowing, but that wasn't a bad thing since it made things easier. He would be the last one to arrive to the cleft, just after Enrai. He still didn't know much about the male but if Shin had been asking him to do missions with the duo then he would trust in that decision. He'd be walking in silence for a moment as he thought about the specifics of the mission. A poisoned watering hole...no suspects. It seemed too convenient and as they got closer his eyes would begin to glow a faint blue as he looked not only into the water but something wasn't adding up," Hmm...Not poisoned. He's right. Something else going on and i'm picking up faint traces of foul play. What's your thoughts boss," he'd turn back to face Shin as he waited for his response and maybe some clarity. Whatever had been going onw as definitely sabotage but what the reason was should be known soon.

Another person was soon on the scene, and it seemed that both of the people here had some sort of vision based doujutsu, the byakugan, and Enrai was basically out of luck here, contributing basically nothing to the investigation. It seemed like the other two could see quite far into the well and a massive amount of details, so Enrai just sort of yawned and found a bench off to the side and watched as the other two discussed what could possibly be contaminating the well. This was something that he had dealt with a couple of times before, but most of the time it was simply some sort of animal that fell down into the well and drowned, and the rotting corpse that it became was something that would contaminate the well. The only thing he actually had to do about it though was to fish the dead thing out of the well for the villagers, and they did something else that made the well water be drinkable again after a while. He was unsure exactly how they did that, but he did not really care either, as long as the water could be drunk once again, he did not care about how it happened. He would get paid for all of these, and he did not have any gag reflex or anything, so he did not feel weird doing anything that most would consider gross. 

After a while, it seemed that Shin had finally figured out why the water in the well was poisonous, and it turned out to be that someone, probably a little kid that thought he was being funny, was using the well as a toilet. This made Enrai laugh out loud for a moment, before getting up and shaking his head. “Of course it was some asshole that’s trying to be funny or make a statement. Ugh, at least we’re done already. I’ll probably pick up my payment later or something, I'm sort of tired now.” Enrai said, before making his way out of the area, as he saw that Shin started to head towards the mission administration building that was known to most as the Spire. As he was heading towards the spire, Enrai decided that he was going to go towards the market area so that he could grab some food. Eating a bunch of food and then passing out seemed like a good time, as it was one of the best things to do when one had some extra time to kill. Enrai decided that he was going to gorge himself on some noodles before heading home, so he went to his favorite ramen shop. He then remarked about how fast and serious the other two were, and wondering if it was just the traits of some people wandering around when everyone wanted to constantly steal their special eyes.

There had only been a look on his face that could say a few things. One of which was that this was absolutely the worst mission he had been on hands down. The other thing had been that this...was just wrong. The revelation of what had been going on with the water supply for this area specifically only left him with a very displeased face. As he deactivated his byakugan and his eyes would slowly stop glowing, he turned his back on the water hole and looked at the other two," I have seen and heard some very off putting and nasty things in my line of work but this? Definitely takes the cake. Whoever thought it was a good idea to let loose in a water supply definitely needs to have a kunai put between their eyes...this is actually a tad disgusting," he didn't honestly understand the logic behind why someone had did this, but in all honestly he was only paid to investigate and see what the issue was...not fix it or bring someone to justice if he did. Actually now that he thought about it the whole mission idea was just that- find what the issue was and report back. This however turned into a mental moral debate as he just shrugged and waited to see what the others would do. Since they were leaving the scene he would turn on his heels and begin to walk out of the area with the two to complete the missions. "Someone is always trying to be an asshole to some place that they thought did them wrong...and honestly this is something i wouldn't even wish on our home..only a few times out of the day,"he would definitely say as he waited for the other two to get a move on. As they made their way back to the village, Hoori would keep his pace to the mission completion area in the Spire because he definitely wanted to be paid. Upon getting his money he would nod to Shin and depart back to the inn the two had been staying at for the night.
