Daiko had made it to the missions office, having picked up a scroll that had details today's mission. This wasn't one of those random jobs that genin usually pick up to do simply and get paid, this was a mission where Daiko had to make an arrest. Cracking his neck, Daiko sighs deeply, making his way to where the thief was said to be.
Daiko walks into a mostly unpopulated town square, that has next to nothing on the ground. It's essentially just an empty market, each side being 50 meters long. There were smooth stone bricks as the flooring, with earth directly beneath that. Other than that, the area was mostly barren. Daiko kept his eyes open, looking around for the thief. They were noted to be somewhere in this general area, though Daiko wasn't entirely sure where they'd come from. It was a slightly overcast day, though the clouds obscuring the sun didn't make visibility any worse. It was a nice temperature, given the recent heatwaves, and Daiko was happy about that.
For the moment, Daiko was staying alert, and called out. "You've committed crimes against Kirigakure and her people. What say you in defense..?" If no response was given, Daiko would simply state "Then pay with your blood!" While he was talking, Daiko would be 100% alert, and would stop talking at any given second if need-be. He thought the line would go over well, given the circumstances.

Rokumo sighed profoundly as he made his way through the empty market streets of Kirigakure, browsing the various wares that the bored and exhausted market vendors had on display. He was nothing special to the average onlooker, little more than an old man with ratty clothes, a reddened nose, and a grubby face. At his side was a napsack, which held the man's shinobi tools should he see anything worth stealing in the marketplace today. He was somewhat average in height, standing at 5'10 and weighing a good 200 pounds due to the beer belly he'd developed over the course of his career. His career. The man snorted at the memory. He'd been a shinobi for a couple of years, and a damn good one at that. Though time had not been kind to Rokumo. When he had begun developing dementia, it became clear quickly that he wasn't fit to be a shinobi anymore, and was honorably discharged.
"Honorable discharge my ass. You'd think they'd grant me pension, or something."
The man muttered those words in a gravelly tone under his breath, smacking his lips as he did so. After his forced retirement, things didn't go so well for the poor man. Most of his saved funds went down the drain rapidly after he was fired, wasting it on cheap booze and gambling. After that.... well he needed some Ryo.
That was why he'd taken to being a thief. Mostly to carve a nice little retirement fund out for himself so he could live the rest of his days in peace. Before he forgot who he was entirely. With his elderly appearance, nobody would suspect that this one would be the thief terrorizing this market. Though his greed had finally gotten the better of him it seemed.
The man stopped perusing though the market wares when he heard the sound of someone calling something out, causing a small scene in the market as the onlookers turned to stare at the strange figure 20 meters away from the elderly thief. A young man it seemed. One who seemed to be shouting at nothing in particular. In fact, his back was turned on Rokumo, shouting in the entirely opposite direction. The old man's confused eyes tried to track where he was looking as the crowd murmured to themselves, only to find nothing there.
The second time the man heard him, it was crystal clear. Though Rokumo still had no idea who this young man was talking to, and why they were to pay with their blood. Rokumo scratched his head before shouting out to the man.
"Boy, what in tarnation do you think you're doing?! There are people trying to shop here in peace!"

Re: The Crowd Screams...

Daiko's eyes widened for a second, before immediately turning around to face the voice that had been calling out to him. Man, he was really caught with his pants down this time around. Not literally, though. Daiko made sure to keep his pants on, especially when initiating a mission that he knew could cost him his life. Looking over at the man who had been calling out to him, he squinted. Slowly bringing the scroll up showing the picture of the man he was looking for, this old dude definitely fit the description. The only real information that he got on him... Was that he had been stealing things, and needed to be taken in. Nothing else, sadly. Daiko could probably make a few jokes or lure him in with catchy phrases, but that likely wouldn't be the case this time around.
Daiko had only made it 25 meters inside of the market, directly in the center, when he called out. The man was 20 meters away from Daiko, at his back when he had originally made an Oblivion reference. In this instance, the recently renovated decorative brick walls outskirts the full perimeter of the market, and they rose to be about 15 meters in height. Their thickness was 50cm (1.6ft). It wasn't anything crazy, but there was a large gateway that Daiko had needed to walk through before getting here, which was off to the south side of the market. Other than that, there weren't any windows or small doorways, in pursuit of not lessening the longevity of the decorative bricks.
To paint a better picture, the market that Daiko and Rokumo were at had dimensions stated before. The bounds of the market were 50 meters long (around the perimeter) each and the walls enforced this notion. On top of that, the exit out of the market was on the south side, from where Daiko had walked in from. When he had begun yelling and shouting, he had made his way to the center of the market, yelling in the western direction. Because of Daiko's positioning in the center of the market, this had put Rokumo 20 meters (from the center of the market) to the west, and a mere 5 meters away from the walls of the market.
Daiko let his arms rest to his side, and he was facing the man. Still 20 meters away, Daiko puts his hands flat on the top of his head, in a seemingly resting position. "Oh, hey. Sorry about that old-timer. I'm actually looking for someone specific, and I think you might be able to help me with that" While speaking, Daiko would not be sitting idly by, and though seeming calm in his composure, he would be very carefully tracking the area in front of him and the periphery, making sure there wasn't any funny business going on. As he had just begun putting his hands on his head, his insides would be shifting and churning, the inner-handseals from his Black Hands skill swiftly coming to completion at his max speed. Once finished, he would initiate Torture Chamber. He would do this by beginning to have four points of origin all around the old man, each one behaving slightly differently and being in different positions.
From the point of reference as if Rokumo was facing the wall that was at his backside; the first point would be one meter to the right of his position and 2 meters in height, the origin point being touching/on the wall. This would leave the chain's origin to be a bit higher than the top of the man's head, (by about 30-40cm) and a bit off to the side, still 5 meters behind him. The second point would be 1.5 meter to his left, and 3 meters in height touching/on the wall. Both of these chains would be aiming for the man's center of mass (his chest/stomach area) and would be angled slightly to allow them to do so.
From the point of reference of Rokumo facing West (towards Daiko), the 3rd point of the technique would appear two meters to this left, and 7.75 meters forward, 10cm off of the ground (being to his forward-left, 8 meters away diagonally) and the fourth being 1 meter to Rokumo's right, and 4.9 meters forward and 10 cm off the ground (being to his forward-right, 5 meters away diagonally). The 3rd point of origin's chain would shoot in his direction, 1m to the right of the position that he was in when he first yelled out to Daiko. The 4th point of origin would shoot at Rokumo 50cm to the left of his original position. All of these chains would be created and begin doing their specified tasks at the same time, the moment that his Black Hands skill completed the hand seals required.
The moment that the original hand-seals for the Torture Chamber technique were finished, Daiko got serious, bringing his actual hands in front of him and beginning to do hand-seals at maximum speed. Boar.. Tiger.... Ox... Dragon.. Monkey... Bird. While each small movement was being completed, Daiko began to travel 10 meters north of his position, (starting to move the moment he started the hand-seals) keeping an eye on the man's feet to see which direction he would choose to travel. The instant the final hand-seal was complete, a brown pool of mud starting at 1 meter in area would form, and begin to spread out. This pool of mud was located (from the point of reference being Rokumo's original stood position while Daiko was starting the original hand-seals for Torture Chamber) 8 meters south, and 6 meters west. This would leave it at a 10m diagonal from the old man, and the swamp would expand at its maximum speed until it hit 17 meters in radius from that original central point. If Daiko found that while he was running to his new position, which would've been 18.97 meters to the northwest (6 meters to the west and 18 meters to the north) away from the swamp of the underworld's starting point. If the swamp was too fast for him, he would activate the surface walking technique at a moment's notice.
While traveling, Daiko would be ready to stop or change his actions if needed, making sure that throughout every action he took he was ready to react to the actions of his opponent.

Re: The Crowd Screams...

Rokumo squinted as the boy raised his hands to his head, uttering some words that the old man couldn't gather. Youngsters these days, always making assumptions about just how much their elders could hear. Still, Rokumo had to admit that something about this situation seemed odd. After all, he had just demanded that someone pay with their blood. A rational, well adjusted person doesn't tend to blurt that out on an empty street.
Rokumo was just about to ask if the lad could repeat himself when the sight of chains appeared in his vision on his left and right side. So the kid was a shinobi then eh? Honestly that was about par for the course. Over Rokumo's career he learned very quickly that there wasn't a single profession that attracted more crazy people and wackos than that of the shinobi. He wasn't entirely sure why his opponent was attacking him, but unfortunately Rokumo wasn't about to give up just yet.
Rokumo shouted out to the boy non-chalantly at the same time as he performed his own set of actions.
"Next time speak louder boy! I can't hear you! And finish your conversation first before jutsu slinging! That's just common courtesy!"
Rokumo could hear the sound of chains forming behind himself, and he could see the chains that had formed to either side ahead of himself. Roughly as fast as the old man himself he'd reckon. With that in mind, the two approaching him from behind would need to travel roughly 5 meters to strike him. The two in front would need to travel even further since their origin points were on the opposite side of his body to where they were heading. With that being said, it was a simple matter for Rokumo to slip outside the perimeter his opponent was attempting to create before it fully formulated by running north as well. He began evading a mere moment after the chains appeared, springing to motion once they had gone roughly .25 meters towards their intended locations.
Rokumo followed his opponent's lead, taking to the north. Though he also took care to angle himself towards his opponent's location, using his superior speed to move .9 meters westward towards Daiko for each meter north, keeping northward pace with his opponent as he did so. He would continue his movement for at bare minimum two meters to escape the chain perimeter, though after that he would change his actions if they proved disadvantageous, or a new course of action proved advantageous.
Rokumo couldn't let his new sparring partner throw out all the fancy techniques however. Weaving some small hand seals, Tiger, Horse, Ram, Clone, all at max speed, Rokumo quickly completed a Shadow Clone jutsu, spawning two identical copies of himself, one 2 meters to his left, one 2 meters ahead of himself, completing the technique once he had traveled at least two meters. Should his opponent still keep running, they would be continuing the movements mentioned earlier and approaching closer and closer unless some event would occur that would cause them to reconsider their actions.
If the opponent still attempts the Swamp Of The Underworld technique as detailed in his post, they would do so in the middle of a crowd fleeing desperately for the exit in the midst of two shinobi fighting, causing vast swathes of citizens to be sucked into his muddy prison.

Re: The Crowd Screams...

After had created the chains to start coming at the man, it seemed that this old-timer was ready to jump into action at a moment's notice. He wasn't wrong, though. It wasn't the most polite thing to just start slinging Jutsu at people whenever they see fit. Daiko didn't care about all that, however. Continuing on his way north, Daiko followed through with his actions before, and it seemed like Rokumo would be chasing him down as well. This couldn't be good.
This man was a bit faster than Daiko it seemed, and they traveled about 1.5 meters for every meter that he himself ran. It was no matter. After the man had traveled two meters, it seemed like he decided it would be wise to create some shadow clones. This worried Daiko a bit, though he had eyes on the man so he determined that the one that was the 'real rokumo' was actually in the center of the others. One was two meters in front of him, and the other being two meters to his left.
Daiko continued the actions he planned to, making it the full 10 m north, at around the same time that Rokumo had made it to the northwest of his(rokumo's) starting position. He had angled himself slightly, so he was running at about a 45-degree angle... Damn, this would be a pain. Daiko realized that precision can actually be pretty annoying. He would fix that. From his original position, Rokumo had made it about 10m northward, and 9 meters westward, putting him at about 11 meters east away from Daiko's position now. With the way he had been traveling when he had created his clones, one of them were 2 meters further northwest than rokumo, while the other was 9 meters away from daiko's position. The chains that had been chasing the old man down made it to where they were intended to, though they were about a mere meter away from actually making contact. Dammit. Trying to lollygag less and less as time went on, Daiko quickly formed hand-seals from his position the moment that Rokumo had made it to be even with him in terms of running, after Daiko had stopped at the 10 meter mark.
Paying attention to his surroundings, the hand-seals for the amplifier were made successfully, right before the handseals that he needed to cause a devouring sphere of chakra to appear 3 meters behind Rokumo's position from Daiko, with amplified speed. The moment that this sphere of death would begin warbling reality and quickly consuming everything in its path, Daiko would form the hand-seals to create 4 Lightning Rat Disks, which were basically 4-meter diameter destructo-disks that would appear in the air around him. They would each be about 2 meters up in the air above Daiko, spaced out by 50 cm, from their flat end. This would basically leave them looking like a layered cake. Daiko would shoot 2 disks to the left (from his point of reference ;)) of where the sphere's maximum range would be, and shoot two towards the right of where the sphere's maximum range would be.
The battle was only beginning, but Daiko wanted to end it soon. The swamp was still sucking things in, having reached a radius of 17m from its initial starting point, though Daiko was clear of it. Rokumo likely was as well, though it was still to the south of him, hungering for flesh. The crowd was screaming, but it fell on deaf ears for Daiko. He was focused.

Dozens of citizens sucked down into the earth below. The Rokumo's winced at that as they continued along the path to their opponent's 10 meter mark. He was a greedy old man sure, but he wasn't about to stoop so low as to kill civilians unnecessarily in pursuit of his goals. Though maybe he should take it as a compliment that his opponent thought him too dangerous to consider civilian casualties. Either way, Rokumo couldn't afford to care about civilians right now either.
When they reached the 10 meter mark, the Rokumos stopped in place as well and began their seals a mere moment after their opponent did. With the opponent using both an amplifier and a devouring sphere, it was easy for the Rokumos to finish their respective techniques well before their opponent could do so. The Rokumo closest to Daiko decided to launch an attack. Weaving four hand seals, he completed at roughly the same time that Daiko completed his Space-Time Amplifier, letting loose an earthquake 1 meter in from of himself. A Tearing Earth Palm became centered towards Daiko, starting from 8 meters away from the Tau.
The Rokumo two meters ahead of the original had a slightly different plan. He weaved slowly, starting just after Daiko began weaving for his amplifier and finishing just as Daiko completed his Devouring Sphere. Of course, the reason he did so was two fold. Great billowing trees erupted from the ground in a 20 meter radius around the clone, and the ground below them turned to grass. Specifically, trees formed in a square perimeter 5 meters around Daiko, each spaced far enough to where when it's fully grown, it would touch one another and form a barrier too tight to crawl through. Though he left the end facing towards the Rokumo's open, allowing the Rokumo's window to attack. Other trees were interspersed throughout the area, and a final tree specifically formed a meter behind the original. In the time it would take for the devouring sphere to reach its position from 3 meters away to the original Rokumo, the tree would grow to 2.25 meters in height and 2 meters in width, as well as growing to touch the back of the old man in question. This would provide a barrier between Rokumo and the orb strong enough to withstand the attack, protecting the old man from damage. No wanting to be destroyed either, the clone would run forward at the moment his hand seals finish, travelling 1.8 meters in the time it takes the Devouring Sphere to travel 3, placing him just within the 2 meter boundary needed to protect himself, and placing him uncomfortably close to his handseal waving creator.
Speaking of... The creator was weaving his own set of hand seals, starting the moment Daiko began his. He quickly weaved the seals for a Soul Explusion, which finished just before Daiko's amplifier did. Though he wasn't done yet. He also weaved an amplifier of his own, starting immediately after he finished Soul Expulsion, and finishing before Daiko's Devouring Sphere popped off. The instant the trees began to form from the ground Rokumo unleashed his wood dragon using the trees forming 5 meters behind Daiko as a base, sending it at the Tau in an attempt to end his life.
Of course it goes without saying that Daiko's devouring sphere would continue off in other directions, catching a good number of unfortunate citizens who couldn't escape the conflict in its radius.

- Claiming hit w/ Devouring sphere, leading to Rokumo taking the damage equal to the power of the technique, as well as the clone that had huddled next to him being dispersed. The clone that was 2 meters towards Daiko (on the... east? I think?) is fine though, for now. >:)
Also, side note, because of where I was timelined, I wasn't able to send out Lightning Rat Disk, so i'm going to be re-funding the AP for that.
The seals were done just as Daiko had planned. He had formed the seals for space time amp, as well as the seals for his devouring sphere jutsu. While he was doing this, it seemed like Rokumo and his clones had some ideas of their own. The first notable thing, would be that the Clone of rokumo that was a mere 9 meters away from Daiko had put their hand down on the ground, after forming handseals to make some sort of earthquake. Wait, it wasn't just some sort of earthquake, Daiko actually recognized this technique, considering that he actually had this one on his roster. It was Tearing Earth Turning Palm. Daiko still remembered when Saya and Pinoch had told him about earth techniques. Who would've thought he'd run into another earth user? But now wasn't the time to get sentimental.
The earthquake was 8 meters away when it had been originally cast, and Daiko easily managed to make the 6 remaining centimeter movements that his hands required to finish forming seals for his technique. This old man was pretty speedy, for being so geriatric. Just as Daiko had finished his hand-seals, some trees began to sprout up around him. This was.. Honestly, perfect. It was a match made in heaven for Daiko right now. Not only was this dude an awesome earth user, but he also used wood jutsu, much like Saya. This would be perfect. Daiko would think alot about ripping out his heart and using it to grab some awesome wood-style jutsu to impress his friends. But, it was time to get into action.
Oh shit. Mere moments after the tree had begun to sprout out of the ground, a giant wooden dragon had formed. Luckily, the dragon had come from the trees, so he managed to finish his hand-seals for devouring sphere, which had made it to the point that he'd intended it to. This next part was.. Going to hurt. From Daiko's front, there was a tearing earth-turning palm advancing towards him, and from his backside, a fucking mega-speedy wood dragon of death. Luckily, Daiko was able to complete hand seals for Devour Sphere fast enough that it had begin to expand behind Rokumo as the wood dragon began its pursuit towards Daiko. Immediately after forming the necessary hand-seals for devouring sphere, Daiko's insides began to twist a mould chakra, which would be unseeable by the old man, unless he was somehow using sensory to detect Daiko's centimeter movements in his body, that didn't show on the outside. The dragon was a mere 5 meters away, and was able to travel a total of 3.24m. During this time, Daiko's devouring sphere had the time to travel 3 meters towards Rokumo, expanding past the tree that was behind him and enveloping both him and the clone in the field of chakra, damaging them with the full power of the technique, since they hadn't moved.
Daiko had seen Saya and her.. Children? Daiko wasn't sure what the hell Pinochio was, but he thought it best not to question it. Either way, Daiko had seen them in action, and Daiko knew damn well not to stand in a field of trees that a Senju had created. Yeah, fuck that. Daiko's insides had begun to form the hand seals for Ninjutsu amplifier, followed by the seals for Gigavolt, holding off on the last seal until the very last moment that he put his plan into action. Once Daiko's sphere had the moments needed in order for it to expand to 3 meters, Daiko's form had instantly begin to shift and move slightly, signifying his activation of Rythm Echo. The moment that it had started, so would Starburst. Immediately, a small one-inch circle of chakra would start in the core of his body, quickly expanding out in all directions at its maximum speed. Because of it's placement, it only had to expand 0.9 meters for it to fully envelop him (Daiko is ~1.8 meters tall, and the point started in his direct center, causing it to only have to go 0.9 meters up his body, and down his body... And having to travel less than that to each side to fully cover him). During the time it took for the chakra to envelop Daiko, the handseals would've had more than enough time to form inside of him for the techniques to be ready.
The moment that this would be finished, if all went according to plan, Daiko's devouring sphere would have expanded to a total of 3.7 meters in radius, as well as the dragon had made it a scary 4 meters towards Daiko. Once Starburst had enveloped Daiko, two things would happen. The devouring sphere would be canceled, and dissipate instantly. The second thing, which would happen at the same time was that Starburst would've then instantly transported Daiko to be 3 meters behind Rokumo. The Dragon that had traveled 4 meters towards Daiko would now be 12 meters away from Rokumo.
- Just for fun:
This is what Daiko had been internally holding of his hand-seals for. The instant that Daiko had been teleported behind Rokumo, he would use Gigavolt with amplified power and spead, having a mean power of 135, and traveling very quickly at 135 speed. With Daiko's position being 3m behind Rokumo, even if Rokumo instantly getting into action and running directly away from Daiko (who was obscured by the tree, out of the direct line of site of Rokumo or his one remaining clone), he would only be able to make it a maximum of 4 meters before the electricity would overtake him. In the time it would take for Rokumo to travel 4 meters away, Daiko's Gigavolt would've traveled 7.2 meters. This was strong enough that it would instantly rip through the trees that Rokumo had put behind him, that had likely been in an attempt to avoid the previous attack Daiko had done; the dome of lightning would be expanding toward Rokumo, going much faster than the old man was capable of. If it continued as it would, it would connect, and fry the man's brainstem and nerves, and leave him dead on the battlefield.

- OOC:
- So, in summary.
Basically what I did here, is I let Rokumo pop off his techniques as he had described that he would. Because of the way Devour Sphere functions, it expands out in all directions, damaging everything within it's area of effect.
Immedietly after it had made it far enough that I could claim the hit (I could claim this hit because you had essentially locked yourself into standing behind the tree, and your clone following, not stating any movement being made during the time that your clone moved behind the tree, which you yourself stated allowed the Devouring sphere to already travel 3 meters.
After this, I let your dragon pop-off, and when I was sure that I had let the devour sphere 1) travel far enough that it would def hit you and 2) i had my teleport and inner-handseals done, I teleported behind you (handsealless) and had held the seals for gigavolt, so that I could hit it the *moment* that I was 3 meters behind you. So basically, even if you react the instant that I teleport, you'd still have to outrun the tech, which given what speed Rokumo can travel and what speed Gigavolt travels, would at best let you move 4 meters, which still wouldn't be close enough for Gigavolt to ever have to clash with your dragon. Math stuff -- Daiko is 3 meters away from rokumo, so that would be the starting place of Gigavolt. Every 1 meter Rokumo travels, the Gigavolt travels 1.8 meters. 1.8(every 1 meter you travel is 1.8 for gig) x 4(how many meters you travel) = 7.2m. Because in those 4 meters you move, Gigavolt is able to travel at least 7 meters, (4(meters you run) + 3(meters away Gigavolt starts at) = 7) and would catch you.
Other than that dragon, from what I gathered on Rokumo's stat page, there's no way that you can beat the power of Gigavolt before it reaches you, and will essentially get a kill on Rokumo. (5 passive DR + 200 Health...) Devour Sphere does 70 damage, and Gigavolt will do 135, subtracting all 5 DR and all 200 HP.
So, I'm attempting to confirm kill on Rokumo and claim victory on this hunter.

Rokumo smirked as everything began to fall into place, taking time to close his eyes and soak the moment in. It was a good fight, but unfortunately for the poor boy, Rokumo was confident that he was far too slow to outrun it. All that was left was for the old man to sit back, relax against his tree, and wait for his opponent to... wait... something wasn't right...
It only took a mere moment for Rokumo to realize exactly what was going on, realizing what was happening the moment that the sphere passed over him and began to... singe his flesh? He never could quite pin down exactly how techniques like this hurt you, but he supposed that didn't matter now. The clone next to him poofed into nothingness and the old man staggered and stumbled, trying to maintain balance and consciousness after that hit.
"BOY, YOU'VE GOT SOME NERV-"
Those were the final words out of Rokumo's mouth before Daiko's Gigavolt caught up to him and tore through what remained of his body and fried what little remained of his brain. His final clone gave one final uh-oh before poofing out of existence as its creator tumbled to the ground, his skin fried to a blackened crisp.
The man was dead for all intents and purposes, though he was far from the only victim. Scattered throughout the marketplace were victim's of his opponent's attacks. Civilians buried in the mud underground, deceased and dying, and those who died instantly under the man's devouring sphere. In total, there were about 20 dead. 4 unfortunate victims caught in the devouring sphere, 2 of which had their corpses double desecrated by the Gigavolt, leaving their bodies as little more than charred embers. 16 others were buried under the ground of Daiko's swamp, unable to dig themselves out and drowning as a result. That wasn't even mentioning the property damage to the stalls and surrounding buildings as a result of Rokumo's jutsu. It'd likely take at least a week to cut down all the trees and grass that had cropped up in the marketplace, and the bureaucratic nightmare of compensating those affected by the brawl would be a hassle. Truly, a dark day for this little marketplace. Though ultimately a common casualty in the world of shinobi.
Rokumo never was a philosophical man, and even if his brain was working correctly he likely wouldn't have thought on it too much. All in all though, was all this death and destruction really worth it to take down an old man stealing bits and bobbles to collect his retirement fund?

Everything had all gone according to plan. Once the man had died, Daiko would cancel all of the techniques that he had acted at the time, trying to mitigate at least a small portion of the damage that he'd already caused in the area. Oh, that's right. Damage... In... The area. Daiko looked around for a second and looked around at the roughed-up villagers around the field. Some were screaming, some were corpses and some were... As some would put it... Double desecrated. Holy shit, man. Looking around, Daiko then focuses back on the task at hand. Ah, yes. The old man. Daiko was... Supposed to actually just turn him in, but... Hopefully, he wouldn't be getting in too much trouble about this whole mess. Either way. Reaching down, Daiko allows threads to start to come out of his wrist, and he uses them to pierce and flay open the man's chest in one smooth motion. Inside, there was a heart that was beating with an erratic pattern, likely due to the electricity. Finally, Daiko had gotten the heart that he needed... A wood heart.
As soon as this bad boy was inside of him, Daiko would finally be able to use woo-- Wait. Why did it feel so squishy and wet? Oh well. Daiko's insides opened like a maw, and Daiko placed the heart inside of him. The black threads inside of him took this opportunity to quickly writhe and wrap around the still-beating heart, incorporating its chakra into his own chakra network. Hmm. This chakra felt different. It ebbed and flowed in a way that felt very natural... It felt both cool and refreshing like a spring coming down from a mountain, but also capable of great destruction, like how a tsunami crushes anyone brave/dumb enough to stand in its way. Nice.
Taking a moment to gather some info on the man, Daiko also ripped a couple of his organs out, and stored them in his uhh.. Special storage place. Along with this, he took out a single blank scroll and wiped the man's blood all over it. Daiko recalled Saya saying something about the blood of her people being the cause of what was able to give them the power to use Wood jutsu, and he figured the more blood collected the better. Along with that, Daiko also used threads coming out of his wrist to.. Rip off the man's face. He rolled it up along with the scroll that was covered in about 1L of blood, and stored it back in his dimension.
Though it probably wasn't that bad... Looking down at his figure, Daiko noticed that he was absolutely covered in blood. It was everywhere. The outfit that he had on originally was clean af, but now it looked... Dusty. Dusty with blood. Forming a few hand-seals, Daiko's current outfit was replaced by a new one, and he wiped some of the blood off of his face and onto Rokumo's tattered shirt. Wiping his hands in the dirt and grass, Daiko shakes the blood off and runs his hands through his hair. Well. That was that. Looking around, Daiko wondered what else he should do. Hopefully, nobody was watching all of this go down. That would be most unfortunate. Even so, He had successfully completed the mission that he was here for, so all he had to do was turn it in. Maybe... Maybe... He would find a way to heal these people before he left. This wasn't really a good look for him, especially given his past.
Either way, Daiko would find a way out of this one way or another. Even if it took the next few weeks. Hopefully there would be a medic or something that would happen to stroll by, and fix this sticky situation.
