I'll be serving as your battlemod today, ruling on the following claims.

Unfortunately, we can't model physics and flame/stone exact interactions here, so sometimes rules interactions that are perfectly legitimate may seem a little odd. In this case, as the flame is powerful enough to destroy the earth within its radius, that earth is destroyed as soon as the flame consumes it as per environmental HP rules.

Yuuma cannot interrupt his own timeline, as although the fire eating through the earth was not specifically pointed out, as per our systems it happened and was thus not appropriately reacted to.

Therefore, the majority of Yuuma's previous post is voided. The earliest time he can react to new information is when he begins to emerge from his HLAM and is damaged by the flames, and in his next post he should start at that point.

True! However, this would only be potentially relevant in the next round, as hit claims are based on the previous posts. So, no bearing on anything yet.

Emerging from the ground into the fire, Yuuma felt the flame lick over him once more. This wasn't going well. In fact, it was going the opposite of well. The fire had confounded him, but at the very least he learned that he did not have Moth in his genetics as he had no intention of letting those flames get near him a second time. A body hit the ground in his sensory range and he knew his partner had been defeated through one means or another. Unfortunate. But this did not seem like a battle worth losing his life over. Although the church had requested assistance from the ninja, it seemed as though they would simply have to invest in some better locks for their more secure relics in the future.

Once the flames touched him again, he withdrew back to the south while maintaining his depth under the ground. With a shift in his form, he would advance back to the South at full speed, intending to leave the area and make an escape. He'd live to fight another day, and would morn the death of both his companion and his colleague whose name he had never gotten to know.

Such is the life of a shinobi.

The flames died out, the contempt that was held in the embers of the Katon chakra fading away, just as Yuuma was able to make their escape. Dropping the relic that he had tried to pawn off, Rich figured that it wasn't worth the effort. All he wanted was to find a place that he could be at peace. Reaching down in his boot, he slides both a bulbous cigar and cutters, walking forward as to slide down the crater left by his technique. He definitely wasn't going to be able to escape this track record... As far as he'd reckon, he was going to be put on a list in Hoshi that wasn't a capture mission... He knew that he'd be wanted dead, not alive. As he slides down the rim around the crater he'd created, he made his way over to a pile of ash that was still smoldering, having been felled in this battle. Crouching down, Rich cuts the tip-off of the cigar he was getting ready to enjoy, and presses it into the charred bits of the leftover corpse, twisting it slowly as it began to come alight. Standing up, he lets out a sigh, shaking off the bits of debris from the tip of his smoke. Taking a few steps forward, he then begins to move up the southern side of the crater, and through the gates. 

Rich wasn't the type to cause a fuss... Though today, that dang gone shopkeep had him in a sweat. He was always told that he had a hot temper, though in reality he just didn't know how to quit. If anything, this taught him a valuable lesson. Rich had a decent outlook on some of the days ahead, especially if he was able to meet up with his cousin Richard. Maybe they'd be able to have some escapades that would leave both of them satisfied, and without any regrets. The two of them were close, in reality. And for a few months Rich had known that Dick Burns had escaped to Kumogakure with his wife and kids but... Rich didn't have anything like that. At least now, he'd have enough time to buy a big enough bottle to last him until he made it to another country... Sailing wasn't an option. He'd have to go it on foot.
