Naptime

Guren would sit idly in his office, with the window wide open. He'd peacefully listen to the sound of birds chirping, soft winds blowing by, and the petty chatter of civilians in the marketplace. It was a slow day. One of particularly no importance, and the deputy kage was enjoying it. There were no reports or briefings for him to review, no meetings for him to attend, and no missions for him to execute. For once, he was just relaxing. Occasionally, he'd feel the sudden panic of feeling like he was being unproductive. Almost as if there was a looming sensation weighing on his shoulders, guilting him into finding something for him to do. But Guren would shrug this feeling off. It was important for him to take his rest days when he could. And he would do so in stride.

Leaning back in his chair, he'd prop his boots up and onto the surface of his clean and clear desk. Folding his arms behind his head, he'd close his eyes and begin to drift off. His body would twitch several times as his mind started to relax and his subconscious began to take over. Slowly the sounds of the world around him would begin to fade. There was nothing except for him and the approaching slumber. The hairs on the back of his neck would erect, and goose bumps would flutter across his arms as the cooling breeze danced upon him. But overall it was more soothing than anything. And so, Guren's nap would commence.
