The Ragdoll would descend further and further into the earth with Mayfly, no true thoughts going through his head... simply enjoying the clarity that he was feeling for what felt like the first time in his life. Everything... all of his plans... what did they even matter in the end? Why was he forcing himself to suffer through this pointless monotony, through all this pain and suffering... what did he owe any of these worthless peons? Everything he had done for so long at this point was to force change and the growth of strength from weaklings that didn't want it. To force the evolution of a dying system that had long ago been proven ineffective.

In the end... it simply wasn't worth it, and he had finally been able to both see and accept that simple fact. Heh... who would have guessed that in the end HE would be the one to end his story... in a way it was almost fitting, he had ended the stories of so many others, why was he anymore deserving of a true end than any of them?

Fuck it all. Fuck them all. They can burn. And he could finally rest

He was no fool, he knew exactly what he had done with his final gift to Ibari. He knew full well that he had just unleashed a beast. A beast that, without his influence, would seek to do little more than destroy.

Once he had descended far enough, 10km's deep, he would simply cancel his Mayfly deep within the crushing depths of the Earth, almost immediately crushing his body as though it were little more than a grape.

And so ends the tale of Kenshin Uzumaki.
