Finding muse mission [Private/IO]

Mission:

Akagi had set out once more to explore into the festival, a grand parade for many from all parts of the world to convene and have fun at their leisure. The streets continued to be crowded just as most days of the festival have shown to be true. He made his way through the streets and down differently alleyways, just searching for something which would catch his eye in an at least semi noticeable way. Throughout his days at the festival, Akagi had found that it was either the most fun he had been able to have in a while, or it simply bored him to death trying to find something to do. He had been waking around mostly aimlessly trying to find something to do and especially to find someone whom he had known. Perhaps he was simply being illuded by those whom he was trying to find, or perhaps they just weren't at the festival at all. Only time would be able to tell him as the festival spurred on, yet Akagi felt that each second lasted an entire year of waiting. He felt that maybe if he just waited in one spot, he would eventually be found by another actual person who knew him, so Akagi found a nearby bench which lied along the side of the road, walked over to it, and took a seat. Here he sat upon a wooden bench which felt as if it could fall apart at any moment, just waiting for someone else to arrive.

Onabi was having fun running around the festival the cherry blossoms were amazing, Onabi could sit in awe watching the pretty pink petals come lose from their branches and blow across the fairgrounds. The grounds were filled with every person from every corner of the map. Hoshi, Konoha, Uchiha and Hyuugas all together enjoying themselves with out any disruptions or in fighting. It was truly the one time of the year where there was no conflict and the world is embraced by the brief ideal of peace. Onabi's small frame made it easy to slink through the crowd. Onabi was wearing his Chunin flask jacket to signify what village he was from, under the jacket was a salmon pink yukata. Onabi wore wooden geta clogs that were dyed pink for this very occasion he did carry around his weapons and other gear just in case this "peace" happened to end a little early. Onabi still dodging and weaving through the crowd caught a glimpse of a certain teenager sitting alone on a collapsing park bench. "Oh, Hey Akagi!" Onabi made his way through the crowed to stand in front of the teen that had been a little more then a decade older then him. "How are you enjoying the festival my friend" Onabi said with a warm smile. Onabi looked Akagi up and down to see if the Genin was carrying and form of weaponry or had dawned any form of armor to keep himself protected just in case anything happened to go arye during this springs festivities.

While waiting on the half broken bench, Akagi noticed a slim being immerge from among the crowd of flesh which seemed to wander the streets with no end to its production. It was Onabi. Akagi had worn his usual clothes, nothing special was adorned for this specific event by Akagi. The small Hyuuga had finally reached Akagi, and he started to start conversation through an inquiry of Akagi's day thus far. Akagi began to form a response to the presented question. "It's had its ups and downs," Akagi began, "There are always the part of a festival when the mix of people to acts is proper, then there is the part of the festival where it's simply overcrowded." Akagi then noticed from the outermost part of his hearing a sort of off pitch singing. As he looked around to find in search of the source, he noticed a man sitting just outside of a small tent. A man sat outside of this tent singing of his misfortune with the affairs of the festival, an unusual thing to be so dissatisfied with such a joyous occasion. "We should go check this guy out," Akagi had suggested to the short chunin standing in front of him.

It was good to hear that Akagi was mostly enjoying himself at this celebration of rebirth. Onabi and Akagi had perked up at the same time hearing this odd sort of singing it was sometimes nice and soft but then rough and poor sounding it was deep enough of a voice to tell that it was an older gentleman. Using the gift of his blood line his pre orbital veins right above his cheek bones bulged an noticeable amount his eyes strained and his vision moved through the organic material of the populous of the spring festival until his vision rested on a old man with tanned wrinkled sun kissed skin and beautiful salmon colored bardic robes, sitting outside a prop up entertainment tent that had festive pink and purple colors. singing about the poor structure of the spring events and his misdeeds and misfortunes, Onabi felt bad for this old man he seemed like his joy was pulled out of his body as he plucked away at his lute producing a depressing tune that pierced the air. Onabi then looked back a Akagi seeing his concerned face Onabi said at the same time as Akagi "should we go check this out?"

A long and awkward silence developed as the two shinobi had spoken up at the same time speaking virtually the same verbal occurrences. Akagi waited for what felt like a minutes but could only have been a few seconds before he decided to speak up, "It's agreed then." He said shortly as he started to stand up. The wood of the bench tilted back down after he stood up, unrestrained because of the lack of screws to hold it down, almost flopping so far to the other side that it would fall off from the bench itself. Akagi started to walk over to the poor looking bard as the bard's head swayed low and his voice shook the air with its dramatic tone and song. Akagi hadn't needed to walk a long distance by the time that he finally reached the sorrowful muse ahead of him. "Hey, where are you singing in such a sad way," Akagi began to inquire to the low hanging man which sat in front of him holding a small Ukulele who had shortly stopped singing once the two shinobi arrived upon the doorstep of his tent. "I've had enough of this fair, it's no fun," replied the old man.

The bench creaked, bent and tilted when Akagi stood up from the bench. Onabi stuck to Akagis side and walked over to the ragged old looking singer. His head faced down towards the packed dirt road and his voice rumbled deep and sorrowful, he truly looked like there was something wrong that was plaguing his voice and his eyes. The distance to the Bard was only just a brisk walk away. After waiting for the ice breaker that Akagi let out to the elderly man Onabi decided that he would chip in as well. "Sir, you sound like something is plaguing your tone. If you're not enjoying yourself is there anything that we could do about it?" the old man looked up towards the boys and started to speak about something plaguing the fair grounds but he didn't want to speak about that now. he only wished for his voice to become happy. The old man pointed around showing the two young boys that the old mans voice was only making the large crowd slowly fall into the gutter of sadness and dispare. He didn't actually want to do this to the crowd here in the spring festival but he didn't know how to fix it. Onabi looked up towards Akagi. "Any suggestions?"

"Then we shall help you regain delight in your music, and, in such a way, we will delight the whole crowd and once more make the festival a wonderous place for all comers by whom seem plagued by such terrible despair." Akagi attempted to make as cheerful a tone as he could muster through the continued babbling of the old man. "Well then, shall we begin to create a song?" Akagi started to drum an old rhythm which he had heard somewhere before, but couldn't quite place where it was from. Either way, he kept on with the sound waiting for Onabi and the old man to join. If the two of them had joined, Akagi would also begin to hum a corresponding tune in line with the first to add greater depth while motioning to the old man that he should be the one to start singing a great melody that would be able to supersede the rest of the sounds and be heard by all who walk past this here very tent. Akagi hoped that the continued melody supported by all three members of what could have already been a band would cheer up the man, so he would be able to make happier music throughout the continuation of the festival.

Akagi then looked at the elderly man and offered to rekindled the mans love for the festival, so that his music may liven the mood of the whole spring festival, Agaki would start to pat his leg in a steady percussion the tune reminded Onabi of a show tune that the parents of the leaf village used to chant and use to stop the tears of a young child born in the hidden leaf village. it was a tune that would inspire the minds of Veteran shinobi and academy students alike. Onabi went along with Akagis tune and started to Hum the lyrics to the old man. The elderly bard looked at the two young hidden leaf ninjas humming the song that only the members of the leaf really knew. But the eyes of the man lit up looking at the two young boys that were still able to sing such a happy tune in the face of sadness and misery. The bard held his lyre closer to his chest and over took the two boys with a lively tune that seemed to immediately change the atmosphere to resemble almost the middle of a tavern on a late Friday night were patrons would swarm the bar listening to a band that made you slam your tinkers agent the table in beat with whatever song they decided to perform that warm night. After this joyous expression of love and kindness the older mans eyes laid upon the two young shinobi that sung with him. "Here... this is the map of the fairgrounds. I've made additions to this map over the last fifty years and the last fifty spring festivals. This place is my home and I can't live with out it. There is a man running around the festival trying to destroy it. Please save my home." The old man gave the map to Akagi and a smaller copy to Onabi the bard turned away and went back to singing his jolly tunes trying to ignore the menace that has invaded the land. "Well Akagi seems like our spring festival just got a little more interesting comon lets go explore." Onabi said while grabbing Akagis hand and marched off into the crowd.

The beautiful clamor of the song blustered through the crowd as many from the crowd started to gather around and listened to the lovely song which was created by all three of them together. The music resounded through the festival and all three happily faded into the world of music as they lost track of the time and the world around them. The music continued to supply the festival with joy for what seemed like hours as the three of them used their bodies as make shift instruments which resonated into the bodies and souls of each person who passed through the festival and even those who were just a street over or inside of a nearby building began to come over to the music, drawn to it because of the joy that it bought for them. It seemed to be as soon as it started, but the music came to an end as the three of them felt the end of the song gradually reach. They slowed down their rhythm. A somber mood began. The old man who sat there finally was happy. A map of the fairgrounds was quickly passed over to the two with Akagi being given the larger of the two maps. In a swift manner and before they really knew what was happening, the two of them were off...to save the fair? Akagi wasn't certain that the fair truly was in trouble but if it was true then it was imperative that they should look into it. As shinobi of the leaf, it was their duty to make sure that all the people inside of their village and at this fair would be safe.

For Onabi the word count is slightly off I count a total of 1,044

The last post has 371. first post 258. yesterdays post 213, so just 15 words less.

Additionally the word count for the air sphere projection tech was not approved in your last thread as it wasn't checked. You claimed some word count on your stat page, but didn't link the thread they were approved in. It is also not clear what you're allocating to which ability with that +100. Please clarify this claim.

Finally, linking the techs and where previous word count comes from in the claim, makes it much easier for the approver so please do that in the future.

After these issues are corrected, let me know and I'll approve this asap.
